Couple that with gourmet cheeses and baked and canned goods and you have a situation you could spend a lot of money on. As a snack, we bought a jalapeño cheese roll which was very good. You could definitely do some wallet damage here. I'd like to see this place on a weekend. My one criticism are the produce prices. $3.99/lb for slicing tomatoes and $12 for a watermelon. Other produce is equally expensive. This is rather boujee pricing and it's obvious they aren't targeting the average consumer. I love supporting local farmers but prices like this make it difficult. Come and check it out for yourself. It really is a sight to see and you could spend a whole morning or afternoon here. But guard your wallet. It would be easy to get carried away here.

They came in a nice basket which we have kept and reused. The package we got included three sauces and two bags of pasta. The pasta was not labeled. Out of curiosity, I attempted to identify them online at https://sharethepasta.org/pasta-shapes/. I think we got casarecce ("shaped like a narrow, twisted and rolled tube") and gemelli ("short, twisted pasta shape"). I love pasta and my wife loves to cook so this was a perfect gift for us. The sauces we got were Bulletproof Mother (base sauce; subtle blend of basil and garlic), Bulletproof Marinara (tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, fresh basil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper), and Bulletproof Balsamic Basil. On the back label, the Bulletproof Mother was described as the base sauce for both the Marinara and the Balsamic Basil. We enjoyed all three sauces and the pasta. Everything had a genuine, homemade quality to it. In general, we found Bulletproof Sauces to be better than your run-of-the-mill Prego and Ragu brand sauces. When it comes to grocery store quality pasta sauces, Bulletproof was on the same level for us as Rao's Homemade (we like Rao's and have eaten it the most). Local and premium is the best way to describe Bulletproof. We could tell the Bulletproof Sauces had been cooked and prepared with a lot of thought, and hand-jarred. The Balsamic Basil was our favorite. It had a nice flavor profile with both a balsamic "zing" and the aroma of fresh basil. I will say my wife always has to dress up jarred sauces to her taste preference and these Bulletproof Sauces were no exception. I don't think we've ever seen a balsamic basil sauce like this before, so the flavor was unique to us. Also, these sauces weren't as salty as other brands we've had. The front labels said no sugar added and keto-friendly. Each jar was 16 ounces. If you want to try something different that's high quality and support local, I recommend Bulletproof Sauces. Today for the 1st time we went to the Raleigh Farmers Market and was absolutely shocked at their offerings. All the vendors are eager to serve and please so, we loaded up on fruits and vegetables. I'm so happy I'm back to my normal diet. From this day forward I will always support the local farmers and never again buy fruits and vegetables from the grocery store.

Even though I can't see it, I know everything will come freshly picked and very clean (although I still wash it all). They say they have "grocery store prices." I'm not sure I agree--the prices were a bit higher than the stores where I usually shop, but the freshness and quality make up for the difference. At Papa Spuds, you order online between Friday afternoon and Monday at 12 p.m. From 12 to 1 on Monday, you can get discounted produce, but they had a limited selection when I tried this. Later on Monday, you get an email telling you when they'll deliver. The packaging is recyclable, and you're expected to put it out on the morning of the next delivery, so it can be reused. I like that you have the choice of buying a weekly or bi-weekly box. Although I haven't tried any, yet, they also offer meat and seafood, along with the more-common fruits, vegetables and dairy products.
