Charlotte yarn was a great stop with a great variety of yarns to choose from including local spun and dyed yarns (one of which my mother in law bought for me as part of my Christmas gift!). The service was friendly and I love that they offer knitting classes and do knitting circles! The yarn values range from single digits (like the 100% cotton skeins I purchased) to low 30s (like the skein my mother in law bought me) - I'd say it's a typical range for a yarn store! Overall a great spot!

I typically don't leave negative reviews, especially for small businesses, but my experience here…read morewas incredibly disappointing. I reached out on Facebook Marketplace and specifically asked if an item could be held until the next day, as I was working. The business assured me they would hold it, but then, out of nowhere, I got a notification that it was sold--despite my confirmed hold request. When I called for clarification, they kept giving me the runaround: first, they were too busy to check, then promised a callback that never came. After multiple attempts, I think they just blocked my number once they realized I was still trying to reach them. Ironically, they were quick to update the listing that the item sold--no issue there. But holding a customer's item as promised? Apparently, that was too much. I won't be doing business here again, and I'd strongly caution others who need reliable service.
