After speaking with them they informed me that Hector gave me incorrect information and that it was up to the store to handle my situation with the phone. I am now stuck with a phone that freezes up constantly and drops calls and this store refuses to fix the problem with the phone because they said that I scratched up the phone and that they will not replace it. Beware of Verizon Cellular Sales in Garner, NC…read more I went to the Verizon store in Garner, NC, and they offered a good deal: $600 off for changing plans or $400 off for sticking with my plan, both requiring me to give back my phone. They even agreed to let me return the phone after a month because I was traveling for my wedding. But when I came back, they claimed I was one day late and only gave me $25 instead of $400. When I asked for my phone back, they refused. After hours of talking, they only upped it to $95. They insisted they had explained everything clearly, but it sure didn't seem that way to me. It feels like they'll say anything to close a sale and then backtrack. My advice? Stay away from Verizon retailers like Cellular Sales and go straight to Verizon. Don't get caught in their trap like I did. It's not worth the hassle or the feeling of getting ripped off. Avoid at all costs! p.s. of course they will argue they were right after this rating.

I had an excellent experience here! I had to have my phone battery replaced because of a "fat…read morebattery" or lithium battery swelling, which expands and can damage the back of the phone. The worker here knew what it was right away, ordered the battery, let me know when to expect it, and texted me as soon as I came in (less than 2 days later). He then replaced it in 15 minutes and assured me the rest of the phone was in good condition. He was very polite and knowledgeable throughout, and the battery came with a 1-month warranty. And the whole thing was cheaper than I expected!

While the first technician was repairing the charging port, he asked whether I also wanted to replace the battery because he said it was not in good condition. He explained that since the phone was already open, he could replace the battery for less than the normal price. I agreed. After he finished, I checked the battery settings and the battery performance was still showing 65%, the same as before the replacement. I asked him about this, and he told me that it would improve to 100% within 24 hours. He also told me that if it did not improve, I should bring the phone back within two days and they would replace it again. Unfortunately, the battery continued to perform the same way after the repair. I wasn't able to return immediately because of personal circumstances, so I went back about a week later. There was a different technician working that day. I explained what had happened and told him what the first technician had told me about returning if the battery did not improve. The second technician told me that he was not as experienced or trained as the first technician and did not want to open the phone to work on the battery. I left without the battery issue being resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store for phone repair. I paid to have the battery replaced, but the battery performance remained at 65%, and when I returned to have the issue addressed, it was not resolved. I am also pursuing the matter through the appropriate channels regarding the charge.

Bottom Line…read more I am on hold for now 40.55 minutes speaking with Dontae to get my statement corrected where someone at Spectrum didn't record that I had returned 3 Xumo boxes and I am being billed for them. I was told in an April 1st conversation w/ Manny that after ONE year the Xumos are paid for in full. However, I was on year THREE and still being charged for them. When I inquired WHY had I not been told this- he told me Spectrum told Customer Service Reps not to disclose this information. How dirty of Spectrum to STEAL from their customers in this fashion. Its sad that Spectrum has the monopoly on internet service in Clayton. You are a despicable company, with no care or concern for the customers that have to use your service.

So it doesn't matter if your service is so bad you can't use it without constant cutting in and out of the signal - even when WiFi is activated. I was talked into a plan to reduce internet fees and could switch my phone line for free for 1 year. I brought my own phone that was already paid for and thought ok I'll give it a try. After I switched I kept having issues with my calls, but thought maybe it was my phone since I'd dropped and cracked it. I bought a new phone at Spectrum and paid for it in full. This did NOT solve my problem!!! After a month of stress with losing calls on a daily basis I decided I would go to the store. Once there I found out from the employee I was locked in for 90 days! It made no sense. I can't use the phone and I owed them nothing! I called 611 to talk with more people but after getting the 3rd person, they still told me I was stuck with them. Who does this in this day and age??!! I'm livid. If you are considering using them for phone, I highly recommend you ask about their 90 day lock in policy because if you have the issues I have, you will be stuck. This is so wrong. I will never recommend them for this reason.
