This review is long overdue.... So i had a horrible emotionally traumatic experience when i went for eyebrow tattooing and the lady gave me huge cartoon black eyebrows. I couldn't stop crying, i wouldnt leave the house without a hat on, you get the point.... I call Carol and she instantly calmed me down. She is an EXTREMELY kind hearted person and genuinely cares about how her clients feel. She explained the process was going take time but that it was FIXABLE. When i got to her home she pulled out photos of eyebrows shes fixed and was currently working on (lots of experience). She was very informative and I appreciated the education she gave me about different types of ink, how they could fade, what happens when you tattoo other parts of your body, etc... She numbed me with a creme and began using the tattoo tool to inject the saline. I'll admit, it was painful. I told her where my primary concerns were and she focused more on those parts (softening the edges, contouring the top, etc..). Afterward she was able to cover some of the tattoo with a flesh colored clay which really improved the look of the eyebrows. They were less squared off and not as high on my face. I went to her for about 4 sessions. I didn't want to take the entire brow off but we contoured it, took off the edges, and lightened it. I'm EXTREMELY happy with my brows now. After having sat in as a microblading model for my girlfriend who went to a fraud of an instructor and being so depressed and unhappy for 33 days I found carol on real self. It probably wasn't the smartest idea to agree to virtually be a Guinnea pig but it wasn't the first time I did it and I figured the instructor would be more hands on not nose in her laptop eating an apple while my friend blindly marked up my face. Well what I was left with was 2 angry bird looking eyebrows that weren't even "sisters" more like distant cousins! Well carol attacked the areas that bothered me the most with saline and covered it up with a skin colored bond that is temporary made me look a lot better and less angry bird and more like my old self. I still have a long ways to go to remove the microblading but she's helped a lot of people , not only remove bad work created by inexperienced artist and some experienced ones too! She also helps you grow out your own natural brows! (she has plenty of before and after pictures ) if you just got your eyebrows microbladed and hate them there is hope. I reached out to Carol at the beginning of 2020 because of my microblading nightmare. I was frantically trying to figure out how to fix the problem. I came across Carol's contact info and sent her a message right away. She responded within the next few hours. She was lovely from the beginning. We spoke a few times through text and phone and she was happy to answer all of my questions. When so many people are doing it wrong it's nice to find someone who's doing it right. Carol is the BEST! I originally loved my microblading (done elsewhere). It was a great shape but soon it faded to a discolored blob. I spent way too much money trying to have it removed with horrible results. Then I found Carol. She's so kind and caring. I have to agree with everyone's great reviews of Carol. I went several months ago to have her correct a terrible shape and hideous color. They were uneven and turning pink/orange after just 4 months. Alter a lengthy consultation and viewing her extensive book of before and after corrections: Carol advised me to continue to let the color fade and recommended a green/yellow non-toxic art pen to mellow the pink/red/orange color as it faded. And showed me how to artfully and naturally correct the shape with a properly colored green/brown brow pencil. With some patience the color is fading and my skin is going back to a more normal/manageable color. I'm so happy I didn't rush into injecting a color corrector, using a laser or other tattoo remedies suggested by other salons. Patience is key! Carol has obviously been doing this a long time her volumes of books with before and after pictures gave me hope that I didn't ruin my face or have to be stuck with orange eyebrows. I saw Carol for a consult and I was ready and willing to pay whatever it cost for micro blading. However, rather than take my money, Carol showed me what I didn't like about my brows and talked me out of the semi-permanent procedure. I too, like most of you women, had a horrible experience with microblading. Actually multiple horrible experiences with two artists. I wanted artist #2 to even out artist #1's subpar work. Well, they were more even after the second artist did her thing, but also so much darker, especially in the front where it counts. All I ever wanted was a natural enhancement to my already full brows. I've never liked my brows at any stage during the microblading processes or after they've healed. I found Carol on Yelp and I've seen her three times. She meticulously discusses her plan for removal per hair stroke. She could've easily said "it's going to cost you your child's college education and come in right away. "But instead she was honest with me and said to wait it out and it will most likely fade. I went to Carol to remove my eyeliner because I was not 100% satisfied with them (the tattoo was not done by her). What I truly admire about Carol is that she is so honest with you and won't do anything unless she really thinks that it's for the best. Carol actually recommended that I don't remove my eyeliner because she wasn't sure that it would come out nicely because the ink is so dark. She also said that the eyeliner was actually really nice on me and shaped my eyes to be bigger. First let me start by saying that Carol P is an angel. I just had my eyebrows done and it was not what I asked for not even close. And that was after I had to fight My eyebrow who I found on Instagram. Her work seemed immaculate so I trusted her but I guess she only post good pics. Oh but where to begin... I first found carol after a bad eyebrow job. I went to a Vietnamese place and the strokes were too thick, too dark, and WAYY too BOLD. The beginning of my brows didn't even look like hairs, they were so bad I cut my bangs. The place told me that they would scab and then lighten up. Ummm no. They did not lighten up much. I missed my old eyebrows so much i went online and found Carol, her website is amazing!! I sent her an email and she was upfront, she asked for pictures and was very clear about lightening and what could go wrong. My only fear was that the ink would turn green upon lightening which is something she mentioned before we began the process. Anyway, I took the risk and saw her and the ink didn't turn green! About 4 sessions in and my eyebrows are so beautiful again, I'm still going in for one last session to seal the deal. Ten years ago, I had an awful permanent eyebrow tattoo done by an esthetician located in Thai Town. I was so unhappy with my eyebrows for all of these years but did nothing because I was told that attempting to remove them could cause discoloration that could result in purple or green brows. Who do you want to do your permanent makeup? Someone who analyzes every little crease on your face that you didn't even know you had. Someone who takes her time to be careful and perfect. Carol is A+++ when it comes to detail. Amazingly, the eyelash enhancement did not hurt one bit. I have been to 3 other permanent makeup artists over the years and they are not as perfect in their artistry and as good about making this process not hurt as much as Carol. When I had other people do my liner, the line would fade out in a year but this line she did for me has not faded at all in over a year. I am suspecting it will last at least 5 years as it should. She will not do anything to you that she doesn't think will look good. She is honest and truly cares about making you look good. I have also seen her work with eyebrows. I used Carol to reshape my evebrows and tattoo them, the eyebrows were reshaped fine, however since I had a little scar tissue in parts of my brow she used a new technique to push the color in and now I'm more scared and the hair is gone from those areas never to return, I tried to call and email for a follow-up appointment and she NEVER returned any of my calls for the "follow-up" appt. Beware of any technique that is not the tattoo machine it will ruin you brows!!!!! Oh did not mention that the tattoo lasted about 2 months, NOT 3-5 years like I was told, over priced for what was done. read more
