The staff at this dealership are friendly but their communication skills are very poor. I visited the dealership on Saturday and was given the keys to the vehicle I was interested to test drive. I started the vehicle and noticed that the gas tank was almost completely empty, so I couldn't really test the vehicle since it could run out of gas at any moment.
I ended up purchasing the vehicle while trading with my current one as a trade in. After signing all the paperwork, I was told to ask the front desk staff when the new vehicle would be ready. They told me that the vehicle will need to go through one final inspection, but the car will be ready whenever I obtain the financing check. I assumed that they would immediately do the inspection and registration.
I picked up the check from my bank on Monday expecting to drop it off the same day. I called the dealership and they told me that vehicle would not be ready until Wednesday, which defeated the purpose of the vehicle being ready whenever I get the finance check. Wednesday morning, I emailed and called the dealership several times but no answer or call back on whether the vehicle will be ready or not. Around 3-3:30 I received a call back from them and was told that the vehicle was now ready for pick up. So, I went to the dealership after work and removed all my belongings from the vehicle since I expected to have the new one now. To my surprise they didn't bother to register the new vehicle with the state because they were waiting for the check, which no one told me about even though I could have technically stopped by on Monday when I originally got the check. I told the finance manager that they wasted my time by not telling me these important details and requested that they deliver the vehicle to me after it was registered because I was not going to waste my time again driving to their dealership. We spoke with the sales rep and all they agreed to drive the vehicle to me after it has been registered. I was told that they would be registering the vehicle immediately and would have it by tomorrow.
Realizing the quality of the communication skills at this dealership, I called them in the afternoon to confirm the status of the vehicle and was told that they haven't received the RTA form completed by my insurance company yet, which is causing a delay in registering the vehicle. I called my insurance company and it turns out that the form was sent back to the dealership on Wednesday. I requested that they resend it to them and have me included on the email thread. I then called the dealership back and told them that my insurance company had sent the requested form yesterday and the dealership immediately noticed that it was sent on Wednesday.
I waited all day on Friday for any type of response from the dealership, but I didn't hear anything. I began driving home from work and received a call from them at 4pm informing me that the vehicle was ready for pick up and that they would be closing at 6pm and if I was able to get there in time to pick up the vehicle. I had to remind the sales rep that he was supposed to deliver the vehicle to me. He proceeded to tell me that no one told him that he was supposed to deliver the vehicle to me even though he was in the conversation with the finance manager and I on Wednesday, where he agreed to drive the car to me. He then proceeds to tell me that he'll ask the finance manager and call me back, which I never heard back from. I then received a text message from an anonymous number telling me the car was outside without any prior notice.
I finally received the new vehicle on Friday night and noticed that they didn't bother to do my inspection sticker for me, which at this point I didn't care anymore since it was a hassle to get my new vehicle to begin with. But it turns out that they didn't do it because they knew the vehicle was going to fail the inspection due to the window tints. Later in the week I received another phone call from the front desk rep stating that they are having issues with depositing the finance check that I dropped off a week and a half ago, which was weird since the check was made out to the dealership "and" I, but they shouldn't have an issue since I endorsed the check. I called the bank that I did my financing through and was told that the dealership never bothered to deposit the check, so they don't understand why they would say they were having issues depositing the check. I proceeded to call the dealership back and told them that the bank had informed me that they never even attempted to deposit the check which the rep then proceeds to tell me that it was a mistake on their end.
I honestly don't believe that I would have ever received any updates from them if I didn't reach out to them. read more
