Our family visited the Circus Circus Midway last December and my daughter worked incredibly hard playing games to save up 1,000 tickets. She redeemed them for a giant 'USA' bouncy ball that she absolutely loved. Unfortunately, we lost the ball couple weeks back and she was absolutely devastated. On a whim, I reached out to Guest Relations to see if I could purchase a replacement. Alan, the Director of the Midway, personally responded to my email. Not only did he take the time to track down the exact specific ball she had lost from their stockroom, but he also shipped it directly to our house to surprise her. It is incredibly rare to see a company go completely out of their way to make things right for a kid, especially for a lost item that wasn't their fault. Alan's customer service went completely above and beyond, and he turned a heartbreaking situation into a Las Vegas memory we will never forget. We've been to Reno's Circus Circus Midway many times in the past but this is our first time back in Vegas in almost a decade! Last time we were here, I remember it was becoming desolated and on the verge of death, but they really have turned this place around! There is a variety of midway/carnival games and a good mix of arcade games. It definitely costs more than before, but it's still a MUCH better deal than Excalibur's Fun Dungeon & the qualify of stuffed animals appears to be higher than Reno. We focused more on midway games so didn't build up that many tickets, but the kids still got to redeem for a few small prizes that they wanted. We all had SO much fun & did not go home empty handed! read more

This place is not what we remembered it to be. Besides it being completely empty, there were no shows/attractions, a lot of eating places/sitting areas/games were roped off and closed. Many carnival style games were closed and the ones opened were manned by teens who did not look like they wanted to be there. There was only one older lady that was interacting with the customers. We spent hundreds of dollars of tokens on claw machines only which they then went to redeem at the prize center. One girl we asked if they had something specific in a different color, she didn't even bother checking, just told us no even with their back stock room open she didn't bother to look. I think we will skip this place on our next trip and find something more entertaining. read more

One of the things in Vegas that has survived the test of time and still provides value and joy. In the current environment of ever increasing prices and nickel and dining for anything and everything on the strip, it's a welcome sight to see that the midway was not changed over the years besides updated prizes and game pricing increases. Though those increases are still better than many other carnival games at fairs or larger venues. You just feel a sense of nostalgia and childhood if you ever spent any time here as a child and come back as an adult. Midway at Circus Circus is where you go at Vegas when you have a young child. This place changed quite a bit since I was here the last time. The self park garage 1 & 2 are behind the hotel/casino and only accessible from the side street. The Midway has many carnival games you find at carnivals or county fairs. But Midway has been upgraded to use digital playcards instead of tokens. You have to buy/recharge playcards at kiosks located throughout the Midway. Unfortunately the credit card reader of first 2 kiosks I tried today didn't work and there was no one nearby to offer assistance. It was by trials and errors I found a kiosk that does work. It changes $1 to issue a new playcard. A warning for all: these kiosks do not give cash change so any bill you feed it will be put on playcards and there is no refund for credits not used. Midway still has a live circus act every 30 minutes or so. They also have arcade games. It is jam packed with kids and teenagers today. We enjoyed going to Circus Circus in Vegas! Carnival Midway was fun to play some games and also watch the shows. Unfortunately, since we had gone on a weekday, there weren't as many shows but we watched the trapeze artists perform. If you're coming around, grab some popcorn and enjoy the show! If you're wanting more games, then it's worth it to go to the Adventuredome. Better customer service. I ordered food from the food stand. It took me about 5 to 10 minutes to order. As soon as I paid, my order was up, so I sat down, ate, and found the fries were stale. I went back to the stand to let them know the fries were stale. They said, "No, it just came up," but that's impossible. I had been standing there for about 5 to 10 minutes, trying to decide what to get. The young lady was rude, making a comment like, "It's not like we're McDonald's." You are absolutely right, because their fries are fresh, and they will give me a new order. They refused to give me a new batch of fries. Worth the price of admission. If you're in Vegas and have little ones, they'll love the free entertainment. They'll also want to play a few of the carnival games. If you happen to visit during a weekend l, be prepared for a crowd. It's best to drop in on a weekday if possible. Terrible place to work in favoritism plays a big role in this place.NEELAM , the manager likes playing smart ass and gets constantly on you when you aren't one of her favorites. A few people I've seen her let do anything they want is girl names MAYLENIE AYALA, this young lady would tell on anybody there on their phone yet she always does it without getting into any trouble? Ridiculous, and I believe this is one of the reasons she's the favorite they let her do what ever she wants including even coming to play in the midway with her boyfriend without getting fired yet us that aren't in her favorite circle would get instantly fired if we tried that.I find this very dumb and hypocritical of the rules that are meant to be followed as a worker there because all it takes is you to be favorited to do what ever you desire. Another person that gets lots of this favoritism as well is a worker there named IVAN GUZMAN this worker could walk around being floor and occasionally go on his phone Stay for long period of times going around trying to talk to every girl on their game and won't get in trouble for any of it. I've also realize he would go behind games for long periods of time just to be on his phone since he can't be seen by anyone. Which is ridiculous since I've seen many people get in trouble for even attempting that same goes with the MAYLENIE worker they do the same and just because of them being favorited nothing happens to them. They just go around the whole midway getting everyone in trouble for things they always do yet they never get in trouble for. I find this very sad on NEELAM part and especially the owner ALAN for not looking into this and fixing this issue makes the midway seem worser then it already is.Another thing about NEELAM is she tries to seem nice at times especially if Alan is around and completely changes when you don't follow along her jokes.If you come to work at this place just for money and not to follow along someone dumb jokes I wouldn't recommend this place favoritism plays a big role and if you don't constantly act nice or engage with this manager bs starts to happen with her. I like being able to play carnival games year round instead of waiting for the summer fair. I think Midway has declined though and is not as great as it used to be. There used to be more people so it felt more fun and exciting. Now there's hardly any employees to the point where 1 employee will work 2-3 games. It's also not as fun to play games that require a lot of people to join in order to win a bigger prize. I miss when it used to be cash only. Now you have to load a card and spend credits at the games. The prizes are still decent though. I love that they have squishmellows. It's also a bummer that most of the carnival games have been replaced with arcade games. The ax throwing game was fun to play though. I also enjoyed watching the circus acts especially free of charge. There's plenty of seating so you don't have to stand while you wait or watch. They also let you know what time the next act starts. What a cool place! It's been 11 years since I have been here! The Circus acts....first there was this old confused clown that was "Interesting" I am not a kid so I didn't find him funny but the trapeze artists were AMAZING. Triple somersaults and flying through the air, two and three people at a time. The Midway was clean, not too crowded. The attendants were friendly and fun. I played my favorite games and won several prizes. There were a few places to grab a quick snack but I didn't bother with it. The only thing I will say is that the website needs to be updated. Directions from Parking Garage 1 are wrong. Some of the restaurants listed on the site are closed down. I love the new fun card they use instead of having to have exact change on hand. His dad further explains his attention span with toys don't last for more than a few months, but his experiences he raves about for years. We met in Vegas for the weekend and I deliberately kept one full day open for him. There were plenty of suggestions (Gameworks included) but I felt he'd enjoy carnival games better. I popped the card for the kid, refilled it with tons of points and let him loose! He kept looking back at his entourage of big kids as if looking for permission and told him, "we go where you go." Midway is the best known thing about Circus Circus other than Adventuredome. It has the feel of a county fair. Yes it's creepy, dirty, and sketchy. But it's free. There's no admission price to this freak show. It's the most family friendly place. For the kids the most entertaining part is the free circus acts. These begin every 30 minutes. It gets super crowded in front but you can still see it pretty good. The circus acts are kind of boring if you're not a kid. It's mostly stuff like juggling. There's also some beginner magic tricks like handkerchiefs and pulling stuff out of a hat, but it's free so it's hard to complain about quality. Food is much like that at a fair. Oh how I missed this place! Brought back so many childhood memories. Although almost everything seems the same as before, it still felt different. It felt different because it wasn't busy at all, there were barely any people in there and 1 attendant probably handles 4-5 of the booth-games, so sometimes you had to wait for them to come and assist. They did upgrade, back in the day you had to pay cash to play the games, now you have to get the game-card and load it, just like Dave N Busters. The employees here were nice, most of them greets you when you pass by. I love that they still have the free circus performances. We were able to watch 3 of the shows. They are 10 minute short shows, but it was worth it. It's free after all. The acts were impressive! Hope they keep this part of circus circus! Regardless of what others may think or say about Circus Midway Arcade, it still holds a rather fond place in my heart. And now that my little one is old enough to play some of the games, I'm able to revisit my past and re-live some of the things that made Circus Circus enjoyable. And as outdated and dimly lit as the Midway maybe, it still works. Camel races, the arcade, free circus acts are still fun. Stuffed prizes are as ripoff as ever but that doesn't stop me from trying to win them. Best part is seeing the look on my little one's face when she wins a prize. It's like she won a million bucks or something. It's simply adorable. If you're able to go on an off day, it really is nice to just walk around and see the different games of skills they have to offer. There are even a couple of games that guarantee your little one will win a prize every time. The staff is fairly friendly. Funny how people review this place poorly, when it's probably the best place to stay and play if you have kids! To me this place is the Vegas' best kept secret for parents. Please don't let the look of Circus Circus scare you away from Midway. We never stay there but will drive there just for Midway. It has been 4 years since we've been there. The game booths no longer takes cash, instead, they now take a prepaid game card. Prices is still reasonable. Most booth games cost 25 tickets. We bought a card for $20 for 200 tickets. You don't have to have a room at Circus Circus to goof off at the Circus Midway Arcade. It's free to visit. Family-oriented. The casino is just a level below. There is a variety of games and prizes. As a local I would take my kids other places to play games but if we are around and visiting family or new to town yeah why not go and visit to watch a free 15 minute performance. They have some classic arcade games along with carnival type games for the family to enjoy. The midway along with circus circus need to be completely renovated. This place looks so old and run down. I imagine if they upgrade this hotel they would have to charge more for the room so keep it cheap for families is my thought. The midway is one of the best things about Circus Circus. It is great for kids. They have circus type shows and an entire floor of midway games, be they video games or typical carnival games. My grandson loves it. It needs to be remodeled, but my grandson did not care. They have great employees who will help you when a machine eats your money. There are also great snacks for kids. I am not a fan of the hotel lately (at all), but this place is fun for kids. read more

My son loves this place! Decent prizes. Staff is helpful. A lot of games to do and very entertaining plus you have the midway shows. Gets scarily crowded on weekends so go in the morning or mid-day. Locals can be aggressive so plan for that. They will take old tickets/credits and put remaining credits in your fun card if you can't decide what to pick. Parking lot is free but it is the tightest garage ever! The dirtiest too! It's filled with baked soda and food on the ground it's gross. This review is only for the midway. We didn't stay at Circus Circus hotel. The midway is great! Don't expect modern or extravagant. It looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the 80's, but that's what makes it cool. There are modern games in the midway, but there are old school games, too, where instead of tickets you win actual prizes. This is larger than the midway at Reno Circus Circus. It also has an older, vintage feel than the one in Reno. My child liked the Las Vegas midway better than the Reno midway. We had a blast and if you have kids you need to check out the carnival midway at Circus Circus. It really was lots of fun! read more
