I called her back right away, but she hang up on me after she asked me a few questions. It did not occur to me that she did it on purpose until I called the law firm back, told the woman who picked up the phone that I was cut off by Kimberly, then this woman said that she will let Kimberly know that I was expecting a call back, but Kimberly had never called me back. I paid the retainer fee they asked for upfront and I was told that I would be notified if it ever went above the retainer amount I paid. I was never called or emailed saying it was going to be over and then after the case was settled, I receive a bill stating that I owe a lot more on top of the amount I already paid them. I told them I was unhappy with the way they were trying to get more money out of me after the case was over. I would definitely not have settled for the amount I did if I knew they were going to ask me to pay so much more at the end when those additional fees were never discussed with me as they stated they would when I retained them as counsel. While I did receive a little amount of money from what I was suing for, it was even worse when they requested I pay more after I was advised to take a smaller settlement than I had wanted to. While they seem like competent lawyers, if you decide to use them, ask how they bill upfront. Don't be blindsided like I was and have to pay for additional fees that were never discussed verbally as they promised they would.

One of my kids actually attempted suicide due to the abuse, yet she still recommended he visit there half time. After the divorce in which she promoted 50/50 shared parenting, my ex completely abandoned my kids both emotionally and financially as they told her he would. Their father hasn't seen or tried to see them in over 3 years and has not paid a dime to care for them. In fact, he's attempted to only continue awful emotional abuse by way of text 1-2 times per year and says horrible things about them and me on social media when the urge hits him. Please stay away from this woman if you want to protect your kids.

She refused to talk to the witnesses I have provided despite of my begging her to, she finally did several months after she was appointed, and she would only willing to talk to 2 out of the 9 or 10 witnesses I have provided. She ignored the will of my daughter and caused her to live in unhappiness and fear everyday when she is with her mom. The way she was dealing with the case was almost like she's a sexist. She kept on telling my daughter she doesn't have to choose between her father and mother, but her mother has already chosen it for her by ignoring her, denying her wishes to play with her friends, and a lot more disrespectful things to follow. My daughter and I are living in hell everyday. The conversation between her, my attorney, and I in the court when they were "persuading" / forcing me into signing the agreement was so unbelievable. I wasn't feeling well that morning to begin with, and they just kept on forcing me to sign the agreement by feeding me with all kinds of horrible things. I'm not going to write them out in this review because she will for sure sue me for deformation since i have no proof. I'm not going to jail because my daughter needs me more than ever right now. But I'm going to leave you with this, if you or any one of your family would like to live like you are in a horror film everyday, or if you are so evil you just want to win a case despite of hurting your kids, Jodelle Stranges is definitely your choice. BTW, just in case Jodelle Stranges is reading this, because of your indirect encouragement of not holding my daughter's mother responsible for all the stuff she did, she is back to her old self of being late to pick up my daughter for 2 hours without notice, not showing up for my daughter's medical appointments, not taking my daughter to the doctor despite of the fact that my daughter's health condition worsened, not wanting to pay for any medical bills incurred for my daughter, and so on so forth. And now Stranges has sent me a note of filing a motion against me for not paying her. Why do I need to pay for someone who's mistreating and misrepresented my daughter?
