I called, Manos, Martin, Pergram & Dietz Co LPA, to discuss my case with one of their attorneys and…read moredecided to let them take my case. I paid the retainer fee they asked for upfront and I was told that I would be notified if it ever went above the retainer amount I paid. I was never called or emailed saying it was going to be over and then after the case was settled, I receive a bill stating that I owe a lot more on top of the amount I already paid them. I told them I was unhappy with the way they were trying to get more money out of me after the case was over. I would definitely not have settled for the amount I did if I knew they were going to ask me to pay so much more at the end when those additional fees were never discussed with me as they stated they would when I retained them as counsel. While I did receive a little amount of money from what I was suing for, it was even worse when they requested I pay more after I was advised to take a smaller settlement than I had wanted to. While they seem like competent lawyers, if you decide to use them, ask how they bill upfront. Don't be blindsided like I was and have to pay for additional fees that were never discussed verbally as they promised they would.

My experience was really bad too…read more I put my request via their chat box, then the next day I got a voice mail from Kimberly, one of their lawyers, asking me to call her back. I called her back right away, but she hang up on me after she asked me a few questions. It did not occur to me that she did it on purpose until I called the law firm back, told the woman who picked up the phone that I was cut off by Kimberly, then this woman said that she will let Kimberly know that I was expecting a call back, but Kimberly had never called me back. Very rude and very unprofessional.
