Sushi arrived 10minutes early while the appetizers (jalapeño poppers - they called something else but that's what it was) were delivered to another table. The steak and rice were tasty, all fish mediocre at best. The crunchy tuna roll was bad with wasabi so hard it wouldn't suspend in the soy sauce and pink ginger all clumpy off a jar. I should have known better than order fish in the beef capital of Texas... But truly the service is what made this review a 2star. Too bad

The brisket was tender, smoky, and ridiculously flavorful--the kind of BBQ that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate it. The Fritos gave it that salty crunch, and the onions/pickles cut through the richness perfectly. The cherry cobbler was gooey, sweet, and a great finish to the meal. Now, the only reason this isn't a 5-star review: the drinks. $3 for a canned soda is a little ridiculous. It feels lazy and overpriced compared to how much love clearly goes into the food. Food = 5 stars. Drink situation = 1 star. Overall = 4 stars. Bottom line: I'd definitely come back for the BBQ (and probably just sneak in my own drink next time).

My wife and I each got a bottle of water, and we also ordered an agua fresca. When the bill came, the drinks alone were $15. I understand the agua fresca being $5.50 each we got two, so that's $11. But charging $2 for each BOTTLED water when it' was a GREAT VALUE water bottle from Walmart is just ridiculous. The food is definitely worth trying, but those drink prices are outrageous. My recommendation is to skip dining in and just order your food to go. You'll save yourself from paying crazy prices for bottled water.
