Although some items can be fairly expensive, they are of good, local quality. They have wood block prints, artwork, jewelry, books, T-shirts, ornaments, and other items with the well-known sites of Huntsville (Big Spring Park, Saturn V, etc.). They also have some food items like honey and jelly. There is also a kid section with books, toys, pens, etc. In one area of the store, there is a little museum type set-up with newspapers and other historical things from Huntsville's history. The staff is typically pretty nice and very eager to help you shop / locate items.

It's basically now a gift and craft shop selling souvenirs, local food/snacks, and local artisan crafts. The staff is super nice, and when we said it was our first time visiting they told us all about the history of the building. Most of the furnishings inside are original including the floors, shelving, cash register and an elevator shaft! This place was so cool and is definitely a must visit in downtown Huntsville! I have 60 plus horses on my property so I see these folks on a regular basis for my weekly feed order - THEY ARE THE BEST - they offer a variety of feeds (my horses and my favorite are Tucker Milling (TM) products - another local family owned business supporting local farms based in Guntersville, AL) I highly recommend TM Eqceed Senior, TM Solution 12, TM Mare & Foal, TM Soybean meal and stabilized rice bran - we use a LOT of feed on a regular basis. That said, 72 Farm & Hardware offers a number of feed options and supplements that are outstanding - as well as an excellent hardware selection. The folks that deliver feed are always careful, courteous, responsible and hardworking. Jackson and Lewis Saunders are outstanding to work with and seeing Trae on the week-ends is great - Trae is fantastic is always a pleasure to work with, always has the most cheerful and optimistic attitude and makes you feel welcome every time you walk in the door!!! If you haven't been there yet, give them a try for your home, farm, garden or stable project needs, tools and/or supplies. Most of the time they have exactly what we need and without fail there seems to always be someone available to help you find it as soon as you walk in the door without the endless searching on your own. My wife is happy to go here when we are in the middle of a project and realize we need more of or are missing something that we need to finish instead of having to stop and go elsewhere myself.

These guys have been here forever and no everyone else in town that has also. They have a little bit of everything and in my opinion, couldn't be nicer. They are a Husqvarna dealer as well. This is the kind of place that still sells parts, yes, parts to things like pressure cookers, electric skillets and the like. You can bet I WILL be back as a patron.
