For food, we ordered the baked brie with local berries to start...absolutely incredible. My husband had the pasta special with egg noodles w/ fried steak, which he said was perfectly cooked and outstanding. I had the vegetarian chili, which was just as impressive: deeply flavorful with unique spices, not overly spicy, and the plant-based protein paired really well with the beans. I'd love to try recreating it at home. One thing I especially appreciated was the honesty from our bartender. We initially considered the charcuterie and cheese board without the charcuterie part, but he openly explained it was mostly charcuterie and suggested we try the brie instead. That level of transparency stood out and was refreshing. Overall, this meal completely exceeded expectations.
