We had an excellent experience working with Carmen and truly couldn't have asked for a better agent. From our very first phone call, Carmen took the time to understand my goals and learn the details of my property. When we met in person for the first time, I was genuinely impressed: she had already done a significant amount of preparation. She analyzed recent sales, reviewed current pending listings of similar homes, and put together thoughtful recommendations on pricing and potential cosmetic upgrades to maximize value. At the same time, she was very respectful that the final decision always rests with the seller. What stood out immediately was how proactive and efficient she is. She even contacted staging services early on to align timing with my goals. Throughout the entire process, everything was extremely well-organized, fast-moving, and clearly planned. I live in San Jose while the property is in Redwood Shores, and Carmen was incredibly considerate of that. After our initial meeting where I showed her the home, she handled everything seamlessly from there. All the cosmetic upgrades were scheduled and completed quickly, and she kept me updated with videos and photos along the way. Communication was another highlight. Carmen is very responsive, clear, and effective. She consistently provided detailed feedback after each open house and always on time. She also offered thoughtful guidance without ever being pushy, which I really appreciated. From our first meeting to closing, the entire process took about one month and was remarkably smooth and stress-free. I felt confident and supported every step of the way. We feel very lucky to have worked with Carmen, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone. She is professional, efficient, and truly cares about her clients. read more

She found us an amazing house in a fantastic neighborhood in a tough market! Carmen was wonderful to work with. She was patient and paid attention to the details that mattered to us. She meticulously found properties that fit our requests and tailored the list with each piece of feedback we gave. She met us where we were with regards to preparedness to invest in a property and went above and beyond with contractors and contacts even after we purchased the property. She is brilliant and I would recommend her to all my family and friends! read more

It's hard to imagine a better agent than Carmen! Even before the first meeting, she shared with us couple of options to consider, one of which turned out to become our home in less than a month. Carmen is extremely easy to cooperate with. She is available 24/7, flexible and understanding. Her tremendous experience in the field was useful to identify our need, make a quick match, arrange the property viewing, and support us with the next - long and important steps to close. We faced many external issues and complexities on the way of purchasing the property, and Carmen's connections and network was a strong ground for advise and second opinion. Carmen is dedicated to her job, she puts the clients interests at the core, at the same time remaining professional. Should we consider to purchase another property, we will definitely ask for Carmen's support. Strongly recommend to all! read more

We discovered Carmen via her marketing materials a couple of years ago while still living in Redwood shores. When it was the time for selling our house in redwood shores, I interviewed 3-4 agents and finally decided to go with Carmen because of her enthusiasm and professional answers to all of our questions as well as all her customer testimonials. We mostly communicated via Zoom calls and texting because we were selling remotely, but it was not an issue at all. Carmen was always responsive, flexible and professional to all of our concerns and questions. Her knowledge of the Bay Area real estate market is highly appreciated. Another key difference we felt of Carmen from other agents is her honesty and integrity - she is not presenting as dual agent, which means she puts the her customers' interest first, and it is very important for us. For that initial meeting, Carmen presented us with a comprehensive market analysis of out home, as well as a summary of the services she could provide to bring our home to market and achieve the highest possible sales price. We used Carmen's team of an interior designer, a painting contractor, and a general contractor. Most importantly, we took Carmen's advice to covert the den at the first floor into the 5th bedroom to bring the greatest return on investment. Carmen was able to get our house ready for market within 4 weeks. She kept a close eye on the market to ensure the low inventory when she put our house on market. On the first open house, she threw a taco night for all the potential buyers and neighbors. She was also present at all the open house days as well as private showings. Within a week we got three strong offers. Carmen again helped us to negotiate to get the best price possible! A couple of weeks later, the market slowed down and we were so happy to be able to catch for the perfect timing. Thanks Carmen and team! It was a pleasure working with you. We can't thank you enough for your valuable insight, and professionalism. We will recommend you whenever we can. read more

At the start of our home search, we were unsure of what condition a home within our budget would look like, and truthfully we weren't sure where to begin. We were not in a rush to buy, but we were looking in a specific neighborhood. Carmen was highly recommended to us by a friend. Carmen was always professional - she did her research and came prepared every time she showed us a home. She helped us align our priorities to find the right house. Due to Carmen's strategic negotiation, we were able to obtain a wonderful home well within our budget. She advised us when it was time to construct an offer, how to specifically position a contingent offer in the current highly competitive market. After submitting the offer, Carmen was able to negotiate a lower price after inspection results, resulting in both a lower price for us and peace of mind knowing that the house we were purchasing had been inspected by multiple professionals. In summary, Carmen made this whole process so smooth. She offered guidance, ensuring that no details were missed. She is an excellent real estate agent who knows the nuances of the Bay Area market and we would happily recommend her to other friends looking to buy. read more

My husband and I are so appreciative and thankful to our wonderful realtor, Carmen Miranda. My dad chose her to sell his home after he passed, and I am so happy he did! Carmen is absolutely the best hard-working realtor we could have ever asked for. She fulfills all of her realtor responsibilities, large and small, completely and doesn't forget a detail. She has a quick response time to any question or concern, and she can be trusted to be fair and impartial with co-executors differences in the most difficult home sales, such as ours. My wife and I had a pressing need to move to a bigger house because of our growing family. We've been browsing online and visiting open houses for a couple of months. But there are just so many factors to consider that we were not even sure where to start. Then, I met Carmen at an open house where she was the seller's agent. I was impressed by her insights into the housing market and friendly conversations. So, I asked her if she is willing to be our agent to buy a house. A few weeks later, we started our journey with Carmen on board. She has a clear plan for us to start with: understand our priorities and secure the loan. Carmen helped us to find our priorities by giving us tours to nearby areas. She explained the good and not-so-good of each house and gave us ample time to inspect and ask questions. She never tries to change our mind or push us to make a purchase. Instead, she always gives us her professional opinions in a sincere manner. Carmen also spent time educating us the uncertainties in securing a loan. She provided us a list of her preferred lenders to consider. It turned out that all of them are great. The one that we finally chose went to great lengths to secure our loan at an amazing rate. Carmen is never late for appointments. Actually, she always arrives much earlier than the scheduled time and welcomes us with a big smile. Small things like that show her dedication to work and respect to her clients. Looking back, I think that a great real estate agent should not just be knowledgeable about individual houses, but also understand the dynamics of the housing market. We were a little upset at a point that we couldn't find a good house on the market. Carmen told us a wave of new houses may come in a few weeks, based on her past experience. Just as she predicted, a nice one in our preferred area popped up two weeks later. We pulled the trigger and got it! Big kudos to Carmen for making house buying so smooth and finding us a great place to live in and raise our kid. Carmen was great at helping us find a neighborhood that matched our needs. She was very patient with us during the entire process. I have used Carmen's team since 2009. Since that time, she's dedicated her services to me in finding good quality tenants. In the 13 years, I've had 3 tenants move thru my property. The tenants would have stayed, but for good reasons they moved on to buy a home, job relocation, and family out grew the size of my rental. I am very pleased with her dedication to continue to find quality tenants after 13yrs. The last tenant she found was end of this summer and took 4 days! Yes, that is correct. Put it on the market to lease on Tues and signed paperwork Saturday! Truely amazing! I will continue to use Carmen and her team in the future! Who wouldn't! -Darrell read more

Poor services, only $ sign in her mind and lack of service. The worst broker we have ever had, always blame the clients, not willing to take a responsibility herself. Be careful and you need to be on top of everything, otherwise, she doesn't care about your loss. I know this feedback will be removed, the system only keeps good comment unfortunately. read more

We engaged Carmen to sell our home in Terrabay in South San Francisco after interviewing several agents. Carmen turned out to be an outstanding choice. Like most realtors, she is very professional and always listened to us and understood what we saw as important. Carmen knew how to market our home, and she even advised us on our staging, which we decided to do ourselves, despite her recommendation to use a professional staging company. Carmen also knew the local and Bay Area market very well, and she had a great deal of experience with other homes in and around our development. So, her advice on pricing and on when to list, when to hold open houses and when to accept bids, were all spot on. Carmen also impressed us tremendously with her dedicated and tireless attention to detail, her availability and responsiveness, her tenacity in staying on top of the process every step of the way and keeping us informed at all times. But what really sets Carmen way above the rest, and where we believe we got our money's worth, is her very savvy negotiation skills and her keen understanding of the psychology of home purchasing. When we started receiving offers, Carmen carefully evaluated each of them, masterfully and ethically communicated with the buyers' agents and recommended responses and counter-offers that allowed us ultimately to sell at substantially over our asking price, which was a record in our development at the time. Please speak to Carmen before choosing your next realtor to buy or sell a home. read more

Dear Carmen, I just wanted to give you a hearty recommendation on the wonderful job you did in preparing and ultimately selling my home at 653 Celestial Lane. Your knowledge of the market conditions as well as your experience in knowing how to prepare and position a property was essential for the rapid ~30 day sale of my home. This made my corporate relocation to the east coast seamless. With respect to market conditions, your suggestions on timing were important since the local market appears to be on the upswing. So your accelerated schedule in coordinating your wide network of tradespeople was essential. Of course, your proven team of professionals made the difference; it's clear that you have carefully selected key tradespeople who can deliver. With respect to preparation, your keen insight on what critical areas to remediate was most informative. From the feedback that was received by the buyers and other interested parties, it was clear that the changes made the difference. Finally, your negotiation skills were the key to getting multiple bids. The sweet reward of a selling price that was $20k over the asking price was confirmation of your negotiating prowess in a slowly recovering market. Hence, I would strongly recommend your services to my friends or any interested parties. Sincerely, Daniel Chin, Ph.D. read more

Solely based on my experience as a tenant. They employed unlicensed contractors that became hostile when approached about damaged/painted items. It has been since the beginning of June 2018, that they have refused to address all issues, even though Carmen mentioned to David Cauchi, her fellow realtor she is working with that they would take care of it in the next week. Items are still damaged and unaddressed. I use some of these items for work and have been displaced by their lack of professionalism. read more

Carmen is the most dedicated, knowledgable and savvy real estate agent I have ever worked with. I live in Los Angeles and needed a real estate agent that could take the responsibility of organizing a rehab while staying within my $60,000 budget. She used her expertise, contacts and aesthetic eye to transform the home and and raise Sold price by $125,000 to $175,000. The rehab process included: painting the interior and exterior, refinishing the hardwood floors including the stairs, repairing a small portion of the roof, changing the locks, remodeling the bonus room, installing a new kitchen with all new appliances and fixtures, installing a new bathroom vanity, resurfacing the bathtub, fixing a broken fence, as well as cleaning and sprucing up the backyard. After impressing me and my family with the rehab, Carmen diligently worked to bring us impressive offers within days of listing. We accepted the first offer which completed escrow in less than two weeks. I recommend Carmen because I don't think there is anyone more capable to affably, earnestly and creatively endeavor a project of this magnitude and make the sale within weeks. I can't stop talking about her spectacular performance to my girlfriend because she really is one of a kind. read more

We were returning to San Mateo after 34 years in Vallejo and our situation was a matter of timing, first selling then buying a home. As it happened not only did we accept an offer but our offer on a home was accepted on the same day within a week of putting the Vallejo home on the market. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for Carmen. She coordinated with the agents selling our home, the banks or loan broker, the seller's agent, etc. submitting not only an excellent offer but assurances that both transactions will close within 21 days. She did everything she could to make sure that we had a strong offer, a big plus in a competitive market. Before submitting our offer, she also meticulously went over any concerns with the home inspections, facts about the neighborhood as well as pros and cons on the home we were considering. She put us in touch with her trusted contractors for estimates on any renovations that we were considering.  I found Carmen to be very knowledgeable, resourceful, conscientious, honest and goes above and beyond to ensure you get the dream home you want for the best price.  Whether you're buying or selling, I highly recommend working with Carmen. read more

Carmen is an absolute professional! I was ready to sell my home (first time owner) and a friend recommended I contact Carmen & I'm glad I did. I was a first time seller; very "green" and frankly over my head. Carmen was invaluable and amazing. She did a fantastic job explaining the landscape of the market, outlining the process and making sure I was comfortable as possible. She recommended some minor "touch ups" to increase the home's curb appeal & looks & it paid off in spades. Carmen Miranda - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Burlingame, California

Carmen Miranda is a pretty amazing Real Estate Agent. She is a person of great intelligence, professionalism and is truly sincere on how she presents her selling techniques. She was recommended by some relatives of ours. My three children had inherited a condo from their father. Because the condo was vacant for more than a year since the last tenant, the kids had lost a great amount of rental money. Carmen Miranda came to the rescue. She provided excellent recommendations for various repairs and improvements prior to listing it. She contacted and scheduled the contractors upon the 3 kids' approval. With her recommendations and assistance, all of the painting, kitchen remodeling, removal of carpets and replacement with hardwood floor, cleaning and staging, the condo looked awesome that the kids got multiple offers. It was sold and closed less than two months at a price more than they expected. read more

We have just completed the sale of our residence in an ever changing market. Carmen provided the initial due diligence, and as the market weakened provided us with continual timely updates. Carmen was amazing in all respects during the entire home buying process. We ran into her at an open house she was holding for another property and her willingness to discuss all aspects of the home buying process and her approach to it, incredible experience and detailed knowledge across the entire peninsula, and ability to recall all aspects of a home's details (API scores for school by neighborhood or even address) impressed us on our first meeting. Carmen is very focused on getting to know you as a client, what you are looking for, the minute details of your life that will impact which home is right for you, and takes all this into account when guiding you through the process. We discussed what we were looking for in a house on our initial consult in deep detail, discussed specific needs for kitchen and entertaining areas, a desire for a backyard to play in, wanting to have room to grow, as well as aesthetic considerations based on our personal sense of style. Many realtors put together a list of properties to inspect for you, but Carmen goes one or two extra steps. She had a bound volume containing all information about each property we were going to see each time we went to tour homes. This included the standard home details, neighborhood information, school information for each property, public records that may be pertinent, and even a listing of the neighbors (and Carmen would even knock on doors to help us chat with people in the neighborhoods!!) . In a busy world Carmen made it her priority to maximize our touring time through preparation of the booklets as well as visiting homes that fit our general profile, or listings that we sent, to narrow the list and weed out properties so we only saw houses we could potentially be interested in. During the negotiation process Carmen was always a step ahead, prepared for any contingency, and able to pull in resources from her network for any issue, inspection, or financing question. The people in her network were incredibly professional and were able to answer any questions she was not. They all showed a similar dedication to preparation that allowed us to sail through negotiations, predict exactly what would be needed to close on the house we wanted despite multiple offers, and balance and negotiate from a strong position. You can't go wrong with Carmen, and she will be there to help you through not only the home buying/selling process, but also any area where her vast real estate experience can help. read more

We have had Carmen sell two houses in 2 years because she is great! If you need improvements on your home before you sell she can take care of all the details of having this done. It will look fantastic and be done at a reasonable cost. She took care of this on both locations for us. She is attention to detail. If you don't need work done she is still the person to go to. Carmen looks at every detail of the sale and makes sure everything on the contract is perfect. I believe you can't go wrong with Carmen! read more

This review is long overdue. I had received a mailer from Carmen and contacted her last summer to sell our duplex in San Bruno. She partnered up with Dave Cauchi and met us at our house, were extremely professional, knowledgeable and gave us a price range of what they thought the duplex would sell for (significantly higher than what we were expecting). As we were first time sellers, they were extremely patient, took the time to explain all the steps, and answered all the questions that we had. Our house was sold within 2 weeks of being on the market, received multiple offers, all within the exact price range that Carmen had predicted! A+ in my book! read more

We chose Carmen Miranda to handle the sale of our home in San Mateo due to her extensive experience, thorough knowledge of real estate market in our area, positive energy and commitment to delivering the best possible offer(s) for our home. Carmen absolutely delivered on all fronts --managing vendors, etc. in our absence, provided frequent updates on status of the process (as we have moved out of town) staged/showcased our home extremely well and ultimately helped to bring in multiple offers --above our asking price --in 9 days. We are extremely pleased with the sale of our home, both in price and timing, and how Carmen facilitated the entire process (even when we, as the clients, were a challenge to her :). It goes without say that we would highly recommend Carmen Miranda as an outstanding real estate agent. Future clients will be in good hands. read more

Carmen was a referral from a close friend of mine who had gone through multiple condo and home purchases with various realtors and she said Carmen was by far the best. I could not agree more. As a first time single buyer, she made the uncomfortable process as comfortable as possible. She was my realtor when we purchased our home at Foster City in 2013. She was extremely professional and great at getting the job done. She helped us narrow down our options and helped us through every step of the buying process.
