I made a big production of…read morenot wanting ANYTHING done that my insurance doesn't cover and they ASSURED me (multiple people!) it would be taken care of. They put it in writing, showing what they were going to do, how much it would cost, how much insurance would cover and that my co-pay was ZERO. It had my insurance plan at the top. So when they said it was covered, I believed them. IT WAS EVEN SIGNED! Then I got a bill for over $2,000. "Oh, we don't accept Medicaid, just your Medicare." "Yes, your insurance DOES pay for what we did, but we don't accept it, sorry about that!" They said they ran it. They said Aetna said it was a covered service. I disputed the bill with Aetna- yup, I'm on the hook for it, even though Aetna sent me a letter of denial and assured me I would not be billed. Do not trust these people!! I asked PLENTY of questions and was met with assurances all around. I'm on disability and now I have to pay them over $2,000 when I could have just gone somewhere else that really did accept my insurance. This should be illegal.

I cried in the chair and the doctor continued to work on me, it wasn't until it was evident to all that I was hysterical under the drills they then said "oh it's just a hot tooth" after working on it for 10+ minutes with me crying. Needless to say the root canal was divided in two appointments and completed. Fast forward to 2026, a root canal is needed on the same tooth with multiple doctors asking me "did you go to a specialist the first time?". After the procedure, they informed me that I had a canal that was completely missed in my 2021 root canal and only 3/4 of the canals were properly done. I would recommend finding a different location unless you want a painful, expensive, half done procedure. It's 2026, the doctor is still the same so I'm sure there will be others in the future who will have similar complaints.

Dr Kyu is the best! I went in for a root canal and felt great 4 days later!…read more The day I had the appointment for the consultation, I had many questions about a possible root canal. I was apprehensive as I had only heard painful stories about root canals. Dr Kyu was very knowledgeable and put my fears at ease. Also, knowing that I had to get this done, I put my fears aside. The day of the procedure, Dr Kyu made sure to ask if I had any other questions. During the procedure I was always expecting to feel some pain but it never came. Other than a few pricks from a needle to numb the area I didn't feel any pain at all. And even those weren't that bad! Also, throughout the procedure he made sure to check if I was doing well. I had the same experience with the follow up cleaning and finishing of the root canal. Overall, a very painless experience. They also accept Delta Dental along with many other insurance providers. I wanted to thank Dr Kyu and his staff again and I do highly recommend his services and expertise!

I went there for tooth cleaning…read moreand both the owner and ANOTHER DENTIST came over to me after they took $900 worth of x-rays, to say that I was missing a lot of bone, I knew that, but that I had infections in all my implants. I told the client of mine who's a physician and she said is anything hurt, I don't smell anything, are you aware of anything? The answers were no so I made an appointment with a dental professor whose client is my friend. She said I did not have any implant infections. I could maybe get 10 to 15 more years out of the top bridge so I don't have to rush to fix that but the folic center said that I had to do both The top and the bottom and they wanted $46,000 and to put me under for 5 hours. That was a no from the start!!! They bought the price down but I was not going to go back. I do agree that I have a lot of bone loss, I also agree that two out of the four implants on the bottom were not in the bone. I will go get bone grafts and another location and have a consultation in the upcoming weeks.

Contacted the office to get…read morean appointment, confirmed an afternoon appointment for the next day, however, it appears making an appointment is meaningless. After that the appointment attempt, service went to hell. Dr. Trudeau did call the next day, we had a "question and answer" conversation which went well. I was feeling more informed of options to help the pain when I see a charge on my credit card from out of nowhere. I'd been working with them on a payment situation I was made aware of after the fact (2 weeks after the root canal). I sent a paper check (May 10th, it cleared my bank on the 17th). On May 29th I emailed the transaction details, they said they couldn't find it. Yesterday I resent it and included a payment statement verifying a payment went out a month earlier. I was in the process of putting a track on the check around 2:30PM (without being asked) when I saw a charge to my credit card at 8:08AM that morning. They charged my credit card without my consent or authorization! I was emailed at 2:52PM asking for a copy of the missing check I was tracking. REALLY?? NEVER EVER AGAIN! Beware

This practice, both office and clinical staff alike, goes out of their way to care for patients, even sissies like me. They are kind, patient and efficient even if you unexpectedly bring your child in to sit on your lap during a cleaning - purely hypothetical of course (wink). When a previous dentist told me I needed a list of other things done, Dr. Honore was honest and gave me reassurance that they weren't necessary. He once squeezed me into his busy schedule the morning after I chipped my front tooth on a fork while eating dinner; he worked his magic and after 15 minutes, you'd never know it was ever damaged. Best part is it didn't damage my wallet much either! They're closed on Fridays and their hygienist only works one day a week; it's worth the scheduling challenge as she's extra gentle. Dr. Honore himself will clean your teeth if Susie isn't in so don't fret! That's service you don't see every day... If you're in search of an honest dental practice that treats their patients like family, you should definitely make an appointment at Dr. Honore's....just don't take the last hygienist appointment, k?
