I separated the dogs but the owner of the offending dog was extremely rude. My dog is playful and not aggressive and I watched this other dog instigate and bully my dog. I watched this dog get into fights with several other dogs as well. We cancelled our memberships and did not go back until this month. Within 5 minutes of being there, the same dog that had tried to fight my dog last time came up to my dog and was trying to fight with him. I ran over and snatched my dog away and the instigating dog set his eyes on another victim. I appreciate the referees at Ruff as they came over to make sure that he was OK. The manager, however, was not helpful at all and said that there was nothing that they could do. We were there for less than 5 minutes. At the very least the manager could have refunded our day pass as my dog clearly did not get to enjoy the park. The park is a great concept but management needs to step in when dogs are consistent offenders. It is not fair to all of the other dogs that play nicely to have a bully ruin it for everyone else. We will not be returning.

Good matcha, non-accommodating service…read more Every time I've been to padel plant, I haven't had any issues with service or quality of food but more recently, I visited with a friend who unfortunately couldn't handle just how much balsamic vinaigrette they had drowned her pizza slice in. She asked for a replacement and they told her they had "no more pizza left" and had "thrown it all out" for the day. Come to see 15 minutes later there were people all around us who had ordered and received various kinds of pizzas.... Thought it was really awkward that they lied to her face and I can't help but wonder if it was because my friend who ordered the pizza wears a hijab. Awkward and uncomfortable experience in my opinion, and certainly not worth the overpriced and at best -decent- matcha. Take my experience with a grain of salt, but just something to keep in mind...

There's a cafe and restaurant inside so coffee, sandwiches, pizza and salad are easily accessible before or after you play. Booking online was super easy and they even offer padels and balls to rent. Next time we'll set aside more time to look for parking because the lot nearby charged 12.99 for the day when we only needed a couple of hours. I'm sure we could have found a cheaper spot to park if we knew. Nevertheless, we look forward to coming back!

We started out with some truffle fries and they were great, a must get. For lunch I had the Greek Falafel plate. Not only was the presentation gorgeous but it had a generous portion of hummus and tzatziki. It was full of crispy chickpeas to give a little crunch. The sweet peppers, rainbow carrots, and broccolini were roasted to perfection and full of flavor. The watermelon radish added a gorgeous splash of color and the feta spread throughout . The plate was served with a side of za'atar naan that was a burst of spice and completely complimented the meal. Then to top it off.... Beautiful flowers to add more color and elegance. The service was prompt and kind the entire time! Our colleague showed us around the place after our meal and the theme to me definitely is making people feel welcome and special. It's the little touches that matter, like the beautiful artwork extending from the first floor to the top floor in the stairwell. A cool place to work, collaborate, and be social offering various spaces to meet all your needs.

I am truly speechless!…read more I decided to treat myself to a Self-Care Saturday, and as a mental health therapist, I know I don't do that nearly as often as I should. After hearing about Skin HC from a friend, I decided to stop by, and lucky me--they had just begun their soft opening. I will say, I am very picky, but I honestly can't believe how amazing this space is. It is not only beautifully decorated, but the service was absolutely superb from start to finish. I was greeted by name and welcomed with delicious spa water, which immediately made me feel cared for. I then settled into the Release Massage, and my therapist was probably the best I've ever had--so professional, skilled, and accommodating. After my service, I was offered a turmeric ginger tea of my choice, which was such a thoughtful touch. The owner also came over and was so welcoming, inclusive, and excited to share details about everything they offer. She shared that her vision is to build community, and that truly warmed my heart. She even introduced me to their pillow room, which was absolute heaven. I truly cannot say enough about this little slice of heaven. They absolutely have a customer for life! I am completely floored by this space and cannot wait to come back.

No issue at all. And upon following up to confirm, Josh contacted me promptly and guided me through selecting the Hammam and the Sculpt facial. I ended up making my appointment day a "me" day to usher in October and a new season, a Birthday treat for myself. The Hammam was what I most wanted. I feel like Josh really listened to what I wanted and guided me not only as far as treatments but ensured I knew exactly what was entailed, what enhancements I could add such as the foot scrub, eucalyptus bush and head wash. Don't skip any of these :-). He also advised that I could stick around as long as I wanted after and that I would be served miso soup after and could opt for a cocktail. Upon arrival, I was welcomed into an amazingly inviting space. And the aroma, lighting, it was transportive. No devices are allowed which is great! You leave your cares at the door literally. The decor and music is such a mood. Everyone is so attentive, my belongings were taken and secured, I was given footwear to change into and I was offered a beverage and to just chill. I was greeted by Lexxy who walked me thru what to expect with my Hamaam. I love that she sat down and took care to explain the treatment, what she'd be doing and made sure I was comfy instead of rushing me to the treatment. Hamamm is such an intimate experience, comfort is a MUST. As beautiful as the lobby is, the treatment rooms are GORGEOUS and the Hamaam room is dreamy. The patina and the window OMG. The treatment was just divine and I can write a book on the act of surrendering to just being nurtured and cared for and letting go of inhibitions and insecurities and how you feel empowered and just grateful for the vessel that is your body. The dry brush and the bubble blanket were my fave features. But an amazing experience overall, I don't know the last time I felt so catered to. I love that time is extended after to just sit with yourself. I was given a robe to chill before being introduced to Breezy who did my sculpt facial. So sweet and she approached treatment the same which was great b/c what I selected wasn't entirely what I thought so we made a slight adjustment. But she is awesome and such great knowledge and expertise. After I was done, I legit felt like a whole, new person. EXACTLY what I wanted. Every expectation was exceeded. I made the trek from DC and so worth it. And to my surprise they offered me to chill in the pillow room. I didn't even know they had this room! Now I wanna replicate at home LOL! Breezy showed me in and stayed for great conversation regarding implementing practices at home. Josh politely served my soup and tea in there. It was amazing. I wasn't rushed out and probably stuck around for a good hour talking to Josh and shopping their retail area which I really enjoyed. 2 pairs of shoes, incense and pins later, I finally got out of there but not before saying bye and thanking all of them immensely for the service and for being such good stewards and making me feel welcome. I highly recommend and can't wait to return.

That's right - hi, I'm at the James Center and I'm parking....FOR FREE! Second, you get to take the nice golden elevators from the marble lobby...I already feel like I'm on Celebrity Fit Club. They take you right to the gym, you walk out and BAM! Nice gym right in front of you. There aren't 10,000,000 machines to take up a lot of space, it's quiet, clean, bright, staff greets you when the elevator arrives...it's just - wonderful! (not to mention feeling relatively swanky that I'm working out at the James Center) A few of the treadmills look out a window that overlooks south side...I love that view! Parking fee in the parking deck is waived when you request a sticker from the YMCA desk. Extremely convenient for those working in the area or even if you want to workout before happy hour in Shockoe Slip. Like the other Reviews state, this location is indeed smaller than other Richmond branches. Smaller rooms, less equipment, and even smaller class offerings. The ceilings feel a bit low and confined, compared to that of other locations. The wooden floors in the group exercise room are noticeably bouncy. I'm not sure if this is intentional. Staff is extremely friendly, informative, and professional. Good customer service seems to be a priority. The main drawback is that, unless you've already researched this place online, it's impossible to find. I have driven past this location regularly for years without knowing of its existence. Fortunately, the staff from other businesses inside the James Center building seem to be familiar with the fact that YMCA members are NOT familiar with this branch.
