I drive an electric Cadillac and had to make an emergency stop to charge my vehicle on the way back to Toronto on May 2. I arrived at the dealership around 4:15 PM, but the charger was occupied by another vehicle (a Kia), which finished charging at 4:46 PM. As I was about to plug in, the owner or manager came out and told me I had to leave because he was closing the gate at 5:00 PM. I explained that I had only 2% battery left and couldn't make it anywhere else -- I was literally stranded in the middle of nowhere. He showed zero empathy, simply said there was nothing he could do, and insisted I leave. This is a GM dealership. I expected at least a minimum level of professionalism, especially in an emergency. Instead, I was treated with complete disregard. For the kind of money I paid for a luxury electric vehicle, this level of service is unacceptable. Shameful treatment. I will absolutely avoid this location in the future -- and I suggest other EV drivers do the same.

Extremely unprofessional behavior displayed by multiple employees in the service department during the almost month our vehicle was there. They had zero desire to look into an issue that was left unresolved upon picking up our vehicle. Brought it to another dealership and they found the issue immediately, and it was covered by warranty. The other dealership even questioned how Boyer didn't find the issue and the simple answer is: they did not want to even look. Not only did Boyer not care about our experience, but they also didn't care about the health and safety of our family. To say our experience at Boyer was a nightmare is an absolute understatement. Do yourself a favour and make the drive to a different dealership for your service needs.
