    Nail after "inspection".

Is zero stars possible? Where do I even start with this review. Con: Doesn't open until 11AM Con: Sales workers do not care at all, have no background in car sales. (worked with three individuals) Con: Cannot talk to anyone directly unless you have an extension. Con: Even if you do call you never get a straight answer. Con: High overhead, cars are marked higher than they need to be (even in this market). Con: Don't expect to negotiate pricing. Con: Vehicle had over 2,000+ more miles than what was disclosed online! Con: Vehicle did not have two features it claimed to have online! Scenario 1: Vehicle sat for 10 business days without inspection. Scenario 2: Found a nail in the side wall after the inspection. Scenario 3: Major damage to rear passenger door. Scenario 4: Ordered a tire 2 weeks ago; arrived on a Monday and claimed to have it on Thursday or maybe Friday. How is that normal? Scenario 5: Would not repair the damage until I purchase the vehicle and would schedule something after. Hell no. All of this for a luxury Audi A4? This added another month of not having a vehicle after an accident, totaling 3 months. Absolutely ridiculous avoid avoid avoid! Go to an actual car dealership, I beg you.

Clean and spacious office area. Waiting area is past the desks near the window with restrooms, vending machine, and WiFi.

I need to start this out by saying I HATE the car buying/selling process. I have been to several dealerships and always feel like someone is trying to slip something past me without me noticing. This is not that kind of dealership. Today I was on a mission to sell a car outright. I went to several local big dealerships and was given low-ball offers all day due to a scratch here and there (car is in excellent shape, new tires, interior perfect, runs like new at 50k miles). I went into the CarMax office and could immediately tell it was about service and experience, not sales. Those who were there to purchase were offered if they'd prefer to browse inventory on a computer or by walking through the lot. I found out later that the associates do NOT work on commission and I was not surprised! As a seller I received a free appraisal where the appraiser (Jay - she was so great) looked over the car, checked the history, and even drove it (it was nice that they did that, as some do not). They gave me a printout with the offer, good for 7 days (while others said same-day only). The whole experience was low pressure and comfortable! I ended up returning that evening to complete the sale, which was quick and painless. I am not surprised at the growth this company has seen. This is the future of car sales. No pressure, comfortable, online access, instant gratification, and huge value!

Bob was my sales person and after visiting 4-5 dealerships and receiving really bad customer…read moreservice, it was so nice to experience a real, old fashioned, well rounded sales person. He showed us a few cars and when due to a small technicality we encountered a small issue with financing, not only did he fix it, he got our interest rate cut in half! He followed up and made sure we were taken care of. When a small issue came up with one of the keys to the Lexus, he was very responsive and although we have not resolved it yet, there's not a doubt in my mind that he will make it right. There was a small mix up in price during our shopping experience that nearly brought me to tears! (The car that I loved turned out to be a lot higher priced than I was told) and after walking away thinking I will have to buy something else, he worked with management and a couple days later was able to lower the price a lot...Now, I understand that this sounds a lot like a tactic and I've bought enough cars to know it; However, it was an honest correction and I'm pretty sure they lost money on the deal because of their commitment to customer service and the original error.... Overall, very good experience with this sales person and the company.

BUYER BEWARE!!! My wife and I traveled from Pittsburgh, PA…read moreto Basil Resale Sheridan in Buffalo, NY after confirming availability of a used 2024 Infiniti QX50 Sport listed in their inventory. Local availability for this model--particularly AWD--was extremely limited, so we were willing to make the six‑hour round trip only after very clear assurances. Prior to the trip, I spoke directly with Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. I explicitly stated that we were driving from out of state and that we were prepared to purchase the vehicle immediately if it met basic, clearly defined conditions: the car needed to drive straight, show no visible body damage, have no unusual odors, and be in genuinely "great condition." We had already test‑driven this model locally and were not browsing--we were buying. Based on their repeated assurances, photos they sent, and their insistence that the car "drove like new" and had no issues, we proceeded. We added the vehicle to our insurance and brought a cashier's check for the agreed amount, expecting a quick transaction. Upon arrival on February 14, those assurances immediately unraveled. Before even leaving the lot, a red warning light was illuminated on the dashboard. During a short drive, my wife noticed severe visual distortion through the windshield, resembling a fun‑house mirror. Upon switching seats, it became obvious the windshield had been replaced with a low‑quality aftermarket product. The driver‑side door was misaligned and did not close smoothly, and the hood also failed to line up properly. After parking to investigate the warning light, it became clear it was related to the pedestrian impact / pop‑up hood system--indicating the vehicle had been involved in a frontal impact. Despite a "clean" CarFax report, the physical evidence strongly suggested prior collision damage and poor‑quality repairs. This was further supported by numerous HIGHLY visible paint chips, scratches, rim damage, and obvious touch‑up attempts--none of which appeared in the photos provided beforehand. For a vehicle with under 7,000 miles, this condition is unacceptable. More concerning is that these issues were either ignored or intentionally misrepresented by individuals who "do this for a living," despite our very direct questions and the significant travel involved. Offering to fix the issues after the fact does not resolve the underlying problem: this car should never have been presented as accident‑free or in excellent condition. We assume they were hoping we would go through with the sale after making the long drive from Pittsburgh. We declined to proceed and drove home. Integrity and honesty were clearly lacking in this transaction. While reviews suggest this may not be the norm, this experience was significant enough to warrant caution. If you choose to work with Basil Resale Sheridan, I strongly recommend avoiding Sales Manager Patrick Schultz and his assistant Jose. A clean CarFax report does not replace transparency, and neither does a verbal assurance. Good luck to anyone who actually purchases the Black 2024 INFINITI QX50 Sport, I definitely feel sorry for them. As of this writing, we are still waiting for any formal outreach or explanation from dealership leadership.

I had a very frustrating experience working with Mark Beasly at North Town Toyota. The entire…read moreprocess of purchasing and arranging shipping for my car was unnecessarily prolonged due to poor communication and a lack of knowledge about their own shipping process. I was repeatedly given incorrect information, which made an already stressful situation even more complicated. I paid for shipping 10 days before ever receiving the car, yet throughout that time I was constantly given different pickup and delivery dates that never actually happened. Because of the misinformation, I ended up taking time off work multiple times for no reason, expecting the car to arrive when I was told it would. There was little to no communication, no tracking updates, and no sense of urgency from the dealership regarding the situation. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I eventually had to contact the shipping company myself and speak directly with a manager just to get a carrier assigned and have the car shipped within the timeframe I needed. That should have been handled by the dealership, especially after already paying for shipping well in advance. On top of that, the customer service was extremely disappointing. I remained patient and cooperative throughout the process because I genuinely wanted the car, but I never felt like I was being taken seriously as a customer. There was constant pressure to sign paperwork before the end of the month, which clearly felt more beneficial to the dealership than to me. I was also told the car would not be held for more than a week unless I signed immediately, creating unnecessary pressure to rush into a major purchase. At one point, I was even told another person had a hold on the vehicle, which felt like a scare tactic to push me into making a quicker decision. Overall, this was an incredibly stressful and exhausting experience. Between the misinformation, pressure tactics, lack of communication, and the fact that I had to step in and handle parts of the shipping process myself, I can honestly say that if I had known things would be handled this poorly, I never would have purchased a car from this dealership. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious when working with this salesperson and dealership.
