Cielo Azul apartments has had alot of issues as others I've seen reveiws on. They aren't at rental offices either during office hrs posted,says 10am to 5pm on door of office #D-23. I have called 216 417 5668 over and over from outside office door even. Put a mail slot in door so can drop off the only thing you really should want,(Rent) money order,checks etc.this is b.s. making trips to pay rent,which went up as I expected.with what tenants have been through from reviews I've read and what I've seen, should of not went up,lowered if any thing.its sad how this place use to be,and is now.hopefully will get better,doubt it,that's why wife and I are gonna move most likely,my sons lease up July 31st,gonna get 3 bedroom place,move him in,we'll join in Febuary of 2026,we just signed lease,its easier to move stuff august thew september than December threw january when its cold and or snowing.its sad we really liked place alot,mostly our neighbors, but hard to deal with everything now.cant even give them the rent money order.Put in mail slot on doors for rent.thanks read more

The quality of this management service is beyond poor. Their billing/payment system is problematic and inconsistent with when and if the autopay is appropriately deducted from your bank account. Furthermore when you pose a question regarding their payment method you are met with a defensive and often unethical response. Further, you are instantly put on the defense as if the person you are conversing with is attempting to provoke a confrontation. I have detailed information to support my experience with employees when attempting to seek clarification. Within the past year, l have made four visits to their office to resolve fraudulent late fees and other matters of dispute. On each occasion l was told it was a problem with the billing system. It appears the system is designed to generate fraudulent late fees and other inaccurate information. I am hopeful a Class Action Lawsuit will ensue as a result of the inappropriate business practices. I am seeking assistance, guidance and support via the Ohio Attorney General Office. read more

Worst experience in my 30 yrs of living in a condo Our board was able to fire our building manager who was basically working part time , while being paid a large full time salary . We love our apt or would have sold by now . Money has been obviously been mismanaged for years . Run , don't walk away from this poor excuse of a management company. read more

Property manager companies are notoriously poorly run, but this one takes the cake. Our HOA board hired Carlyle to collect hoa fees, pay invoices, recommend contractors and keep our accounting. They have not been able to accomplish any of those things satisfactorily. In one case, they overpaid $6,700 to a contractor from our account. This amount has been irretrevable and noone at Carlyle will accept responsibility. Noone knows what they are doing at Carlyle, incldung the proprietor. Furthermore, noone knows what anyone else at Carlyle is doing and they don't seem to know that their systems are totally broken. We have also had bad luck with many of the contractors recommended by Carlyle, so that part of their service is also crap. read more

I have been bullied by this association from day one. They are very unpleasant and inflexible people. They made me drive almost an hour just to speak to someone about a bill. They added so many fees onto my balance that I now owe over $3,000 I am not responsible for and cannot catch up. They refused to work with my disability, my limitations. They have made up lies and stories about me and fined me for nuance things while I'm fighting daily for my life. If you ask a question you get sent around in circles or get conflicting information. I have a lot of trauma from living here and I would never recommend ever buying or renting from them. read more

Every transaction performed by the Carlyle Group was either late or not performed. I was supposed to move in on December 15. They forgot to send the whole application package to me. I needed to move into a place that would accept my mail for my health insurance. No luck. They held portions of my applications until I called to get the missing section. After I moved in they lost my financial info - they never billed my HOA fees. They did charge me for their mistake. Yes - they do not return emails or calls. read more

If I could give this property management company 0 stars, I would. If you would like your property to fail, I would highly recommend this company. I ended up working for them despite my better judgement because the owners of the property I were at switched companies. While the previous company was awful as well, I couldn't believe just how much worse Carlyle was. When the transitioned first happened, the only person providing any information to the employees was an asset manager with the investment company... once she was gone we got no information. Here's some examples: 1) We requested supplies for several months. I repeatedly requested supplies so that I can complete work orders, turn units. They took over March 8th, as of 6/14 when I quit no supplies so that I can turn units had been received, at all. I even had an approved applicant wanting to move in - who could not. When I offered other apartments closer to done and requested from the regional manager if I could at least get a smaller list of items I was responded to with a very very snarky response about how she can't get supplies because the previous company didnt pay and it will take time. 2) We had no actives system when I quit still. To be fair, I believe I had heard that they did have the properties in their system but hadn't given any of the site staff access to this. Right before I left I finally received a link to run applications, which took 3 months to provide, and honestly, I couldn't run applications because I couldn't work on vacant units so I couldn't move people in. 3) They provided NO information, offered no support, have shorted multiple employees checks, had us fill out w2 information and refused to take out taxes. They never acknowledged my resignation. 4) We tried to cash our checks recently and were turned away because they wasn't money in their account to cover the funds. We were told that we could the next day (saturday). They were still turning people away until Monday afternoon. This honestly was the final straw and why I finally left. I couldn't guarantee I would get paid for the hours I put in. This is just a few things that I could go on about. They will likely quip back saying that I didn't do what I was supposed to do but I did everything that I could. I deescalated residents and tried my best to prevent escrow. I kept people calm. I tracked their payments manually to determine delinquency. I delivered notices when asked and complied with everything asked of me. I went without internet or phones for a week. Their responses on their reviews are even more disrespectful and unprofessional than all of this and is just proof enough of how terrible they are. I'm convinced that the people who gave them 5 stars are friends and family trying to improve the google rating. I would just like to be done with this company but I thought it best that people knew just how bad they are. If you have the opportunity to work here - RUN. read more

Carlyle Management and specifically Steve Avner had Mooney and Sons tow my car off of private property while we were on vacation. The car was 4 days old and had less than 500 miles on it. They damaged the vehicle and dragged it across their lot. They have refused to pay for the damages. Claiming that they didn't do it. It is obvious the damage was theirs. It was a brand new vehicle and they did not know how to tow it without the keys to put it into neutral and they decided to drag it across the parking lot. I'm a Trustee of an HOA that will shortly be a former client of Carlyle Management. I've had prior experience with Carlyle in another HOA as well. In my experience I could NEVER recommend Carlyle to manage a property. We have had horrible follow through on instructions from the Board. The approach to handling vendors was disorganized. Errors occurred when poor instructions were given resulting in the wrong trees being cut down. Multiple errors in billing to homeowners and multiple errors in the paying of bills. Prior to the ending of the contract employees of Carlyle refused to do routine tasks for which they are contractually obligated to perform. Save yourself the trouble. read more

They are a terrible management company. Will not repair items that they are contracted to take care of, and will not provide financials to let us owners of our condo association know where our money is being appropriated to. The gentleman Harry Frank that manages our building from Carlyle always says that many condo owners are no paying their dues, so they cannot repair any items that are terribly deteriorating. Horrible company to work with. My mother always complained about their billing, building upkeep and other things, but I had no clue how bad they were until she passed. They made the maintaining and selling of her condo as difficult as possible during a very stressful time for me. Even after the sale, a year later they still haunt me by sending a deposit refund check in her name. Her estate was settled a year ago, what am I supposed to do with that? They refuse to reissue under my legal name even though they billed and took payments from me for over a year in that name. Just a horrible company to deal with. I do not recommend. read more

" This sentence comes directly from their website. Unfortunately in my experience, Carlyle Management Co. fails to live up to these reasonable goals. I own a condo in a property that they manage. After an entire week of emails and phone calls, I find our property manager, Jay Fraigun, to be extremely unresponsive to my attempts at communication. His assistant, Annette, similarly has not been helpful. I have also emailed Charles Schulman regarding this and he too has been unresponsive. My fees are paid on time and so I expect a high level of service, individual responsibility and accountability, just like their website says. My expectations are not unreasonable. I am compelled to write this review because this unresponsiveness has been ongoing. I was under the impression that it was resolved when Jay and Charles and I discussed it at our condo meeting earlier this year where they apologized for the previous time this happened. So I am wondering if anyone else may be having a similar experience with this company. I see at least one other unhappy client on here. It is my hope that they may see this and double their efforts to provide a high level of service, individual responsibility and accountability, to their paying customers just like their website says. read more

I cannot speak for the entire organization however, I can tell you that almost every experience I have had with Property Manger Victoria O'Donnell has been RUDE and unprofessional. I don't expect to get my inquiries answered the way I want but an answer with an explanation would be helpful and less stressful to the client. And just because I may not understand something does not mean I need to have the response typed back in CAPITAL Letters like she is yelling at me or that I am bothering her...Yes, that is how she responds. I have sent a letter and a copy of the email chain to Carlyle Management and hope to receive a follow up. If I do I will revisit my review and update. read more
