Carl's, you always have some service problem! I like the food--it's one of my favourite fast food places. Here I was between Bakersfield and San Jose, more or less, and I hadn't eaten yet. If Jack in the Box was first, I probably would have chosen that. Mind you, there were a number of places along the road offering Pastrami and I love good NY deli-style pastrami. Would I take a chance when I really needed something that wasn't going to possibly make me sick? No. I talked about breakfast and the woman behind the register told me that breakfast was finished. I could have had tacos since this was a Green Burrito location, and I didn't know that they had fish tacos and they have soooooo many choices, I ended up with the Char-Broiled Cod Sandwich, which is normally good. Many minutes later, the cook was up front and I still didn't have any food, and the manager asked what happened. Apparently, they gave my sandwich with some fish tacos to the person at the drive-thru. Grrrr. When I got my food, it wasn't very good. It didn't make me sick but it wasn't very good. The manager talked to me a few times and gave me a car for a free Pop-Tarts Strawberry ice cream sandwich. I probably have to use it there, but that wasn't exactly thrilling. They give you little patties on promotional items. Not worth using your points or buying promotional discounted items cause they will skimp you out. I bought a spicy cheeseburger at another location it was a decent size patty, two days later I come to this location for the Same spicy cheeseburger and it was the tiniest patty I've ever seen didn't even cover the whole hamburger bread. I've ate at carls & Hardee's location all my life, never knew they had tiny burger patties that small. Very disappointed I'm sure they cut corners to maximize profits but with a name like Carl already established they're just damaging the brand with operations like this read more

Service is trash, and at the end you end up getting a completely different order than what was originally ordered at the drive thro.

Stopped here because i didnt want to go into wallymart on an emptt stomach. Snotty dude at the counter had an attitude. They also "don't" offee the $5 combos u see on tv. At that price they only have spicy chicken sandwhich or "chicken strips". From the picture u can see that it's nkthing to write home about. If u want one kd the burger combos advertised on tv for 5 bucks, you have to pay $7 instead. I won't be coming back here any tome soon. read more

Went here today at 12:56pm n the place is empty... I order to chicken soft tacos and it was 1:25 n the soft tacos were still not ready, I approach the Cashier by the name of Gerardo n he says its almost ready! WTH really 25 minutes for 2 soft chicken tacos?!? And then this is what they looked like! I ask for the manager and he it not in okay! This Carl's Jr. is very clean inside fast friendly staff food very hot and tasty ample parking outside next to the $.99 store on Highway 46 you got to try the new most American thick burger it's very good hope they carry this all the time it's worth the price read more

It's overall good food not going to lie to you. They get your order taken quick but not serving it it take a minimum of 10 minutes if you're lucky. I believe this because it's heavily understaffed. There's usually 2-3 people in there. There some people who are nice their and talk to you. read more

Hamburgers were cold, fries were cold! Coke machine was broke, ketchup dispenser was empty! Will avoid in the future!

This location always manages to get my order wrong. It may be that they don't add all my food items or they don't do my burgers the way I asked. Also, their drive thru times are insanely ridiculous. Either they have really bad workers or they just don't care about customer service. I literally waited 15-20min for my food in the drive thru. Very disappointing. read more

This places has the slowest drive thru I have ever been to. Just ordered 2 burgers and had to wait 10 minutes for them to just take my payment and then tell me to pull around to the front we will bring it out to you and then waited another 10 minutes before the food was brought out to me. Not many places here to eat but this is one place that isn't worth a 40 minute wait to eat. read more

They had no soda options available I had to ask them to fill it up from their soda machine behind the counter and I was waiting for them to look at me so the manager (I'm guessing) looked but kept going and as soon as someone got next to me to ask for soda as well the manager comes to him an gets his cup. I probably would have gave it 4 stars from previous visits..But I was so upset with the last visit.I had to drop somebody off a the train station after picking up food.We were in the drive thru there was a car in front of me at the window.It took them 9 mins to get their food. Usually they tell people to move and park,then somebody will bring them their food if its going to take long.But no we were stuck waiting.Then when we got to the window the lady didn't even apologize,and some what had a attitude.So now as someone who lives in Wasco I wont be going back here for a while. read more

On the way back from So Cal on highway 5, made the mistake to stop at this Carls Jr. Should have known better. I saw an in and out a few miles north. Service was bad from the minute we stepped in, until we left the door. Where to start? Slow to take the order, but at least the lady that took the order there took it right. It went downhill from there though.The other employee that brings the food to you when you eat there, well she didn't seem to be enjoying to be working there. Some eye contact and to ask me if I needed any ketchup or ranch would have been nice. I can usually get the condiments myself. But most fast food places don't leave them out for kids or adults to make a mess. They do leave the ranch out in the heat near where the station for the drive through is, which seems like its 90 degrees and some fries were buzzing around. Needless to say, didn't have the urge to dip my waffle fries in their ranch. Getting my girlfriends chicken sandwich corrected was a 10 minute ordeal. I just stood there by the counter waiting for anyone to make eye contact. The lady that brought the sandwich to us didn't want to ask why we're standing there staring at her. She tells the assembly person in Spanish what's wrong with our chicken sandwich. "It's not chicken, it's a meat patty in there." The assembler replies "what, what's wrong.its not chicken? I then had to yell at them not to put mayo or tomato on it, since that's what the instructions we gave and were on the receipt said. It seems that they dont bother much reading those instructions. Never got my receipt back, and waited 10 minutes just to get the sandwich which was just sitting behind the counter. I wanted to go around the counter and grab it and just go. Wow, were they slow. I almost gave up. One of their soda machines was broken. Lucky the one that worked did work. While waiting through this fiasco, a gentleman came in to retrieve his card. Appearantly he didn't get it back from when he went through the drive through. The guy behind me told me to take the survey but I won't bother. This location will not improve. Just avoid it all together. There's a McDonald's and a subway nearby. read more
