I've been to this location twice and unhappy. First off, the location is hidden off Woodman ave, it's on the left corner of an intersection. I ordered the Big Carl burger and it wasn't as good as other locations. The burger meat tasted very dry, thin, and put on a hamburger bun with no flavor. Recently, I've been to this location twice and both times, they were out of Spicy chicken sandwiches. The second time I went to this location a piece of paper was written in black marker "out of spicy chicken" this piece of paper was taped over the drive through speaker. If you like Carls JR. This location specifically cannot figure out how to keep the restrooms clean, smells horrible and it travels to the dining area. I am reminded with every visit that it stinks. Now they decide to charge for sauce, not extra sauce, just to have sauce, so you don't get any even when you order fries or sides and they charge $1 for 1. That's insane, the sauce charge is becoming crazy. I might have to choose a different fast food chain because that's just unfair, I don't believe I'll be eating Carl's Jr after that. I've heard many different policies with different employees there and tried not to make a big deal even if I pay for extra sauce for .33 cents one day and $1 another but now trying to charge me for any kind of sauce to have with my food is ridiculous. My wife stopped by this Carl's Jr on her way home from work. She used the drive thru to place her order because there was only two cars in line. She got herself a Santa Fe burger and I asked for the Double Famous Star with no onion. The price is on the higher end here but the burger size and portion is much larger than other places. I haven't had a Carl's Jr burger in a while like maybe 5 years. I thought my double famous star burger was pretty decent, I forgot to tell my wife no pickles either but there wasn't that much. I just can believe at my level of disappointment at America's fast food spots, especially Carl's Jr., my favorite burger spot (not counting gourmet burgers). It's fast, close by and the prices are great. Time after time, I tell myself, that I shouldn't post a bad review, but I am so over it. Almost every single time, the food is subpar and somethings missing. Today, I ordered the new BLT chicken sandwich combo along with other food. My fries were missing. My kids fries were there but hardly warm. My sandwich had maybe a dot or two of ranch sauce in it and was barely warm in itself. I even asked the cashier if everything was in the bag and checked, he said yes and handed me straws. The whole time ordering, his attitude felt like I was bothering and he was just trying to get rid of me by monotonously asking "is that all?" Great Carl's Jr.... and my former frequent spot when I worked within walking distance a few years ago and would take lunch here and order fried zucchini, fries and a small side and/or beverage to go with my lunch before the franchise got wiser and added more plant based options to the menu like the Beyond Famous Star which is terrific. The drive thru here is super quick and very easy to navigate as there aren't any typical barrier or dividers when driving thru. The inside stays very clean and is great for dinning in, when dinning in is available. Unfortunately they don't have any outside seating really at all, but the parking lot is wide and easy to park and bite. The bathrooms in the past are usually kept up more or less. Good ambience and pretty good fast food chain eats off Woodman Ave and Burbank Blvd near Mission Wine & Spirits across the street. Solid service whether ordering drive thru or inside. read more

The chicken looked like it had been reheated and old. It also had some redness on the edge. It looked disgusting. When I opened up the sandwich, it didn't have a green ortega chili pepper in it. What can I tell you about this Carl's Jr that cannot be said about any other such location. It is your typical big chain burger joint, with a 24-hour drive thru that I appreciate. I have buddies who live in the San Fernando valley, and I sometimes stop by here either on my way to visit them, or on my way back home. I have actually never set foot inside the restaurant, but I can say that the drive thru does its job adequately. I normally order a grilled chicken sandwich, and my sandwiches have never lacked in quality. I cannot speak for the beef burgers or the desserts, as I never order those items from Carl's Jr. This would make a great quick food stop at the end of a night out. read more
