We have been eating the Famous Star at Carl's Jr. since way back, probably 2000. California, Oregon, all over. It's been our go to place for a fast food hamburger. Today, after quite a while of avoiding hamburgers, we went back. I have to say, I was really disappointed in the Famous Star served today. Too many things were different. The bun didn't feel fresh, the meat was dry and too well done, and the entire taste was immediately noticeably different. On top of it all the cost is outrageous. It's over $8. From now on Carl's Jr. joins, McD's, Burger King, Sonic's, and all the other fast food restaurants that I'll avoid. I have to admit, though. The staff were very pleasant. read more

We never received our food after waiting 30 mins in the reserved spot #2 we ordered around 11:30 and multiple people got there orders before we did, 10 piece tender meal and a big Carl meal. they told us that they already had done tills and weren't able to help us, we don't live in Redmond and we weren't even able to get a refund, would not recommend coming here after 11. I been eating at this location for over a year now, I work right by it so it's convenient. The staff is very friendly, they always get my order right, and there consistently quick with the food, not the fastest but much better then most fast food places. I don't go through the drive through, but I do see it back up sometimes, but that's usually the lunch and dinner rush, when everyone in town is eating, so to say it's slow at these times isn't fair. Today really sucked at Carl's Jr. Ordered chicken tenders through Drive thru. First, the attendant on the speaker sounded about as unenthusiastic as one can get, also ordered 2 large fries. Did not want to go inside because of the recent uptick in Covid-19 cases in Deschutes county. She handed me my order, not saying anything, as I was leaving, my wife pointed out we got the wrong order. So, had to go inside for the right order. I explained to the attendant about the mix up, and the girls at the drive-up laughed. Real funny. The attendant took my order again and gave me another wrong order. When the cashier read the order back I corrected her and said "no, not the $6 Original, it should be the Big Carl combo".
