KLK (text version of Que lo Que which is our causal way of saying hello. "whats good or what's what?") KLK brings marinated flair and delicate execution of our favorite Dominican cravings (antojos). I enjoyed: The Ribeye with Chimichurri The mofongo with skirt steak The plantain cups with shrimp The plantain cups with thin and crispy. It did not take away from the tasty shrimp filling in the center. Great balance. Crisp. Flavorful. The Ribeye and the Chimichurri had an aftertaste that made you nostalgic. Not sure if it was Cooked in its own fat, but WOW. Yucca fries were crisp. The ripe plantains were very ripe and thinly sliced. Super sweet with charred edges. The mofongo came with skirt steak. No gristle or membrane. Not chewy. Just perfect. Very flavorful. The mofongo had 5% room for improvement. I would have liked to taste the pork cracklings in it more. A little crispy surprise on the bite. Over all, best mofongo I have tasted from Harrisburg PA in between to NYC. I took some Pica Pollo to go, I had to have a bite before we left and it gave me pechurina (chicken tender, not whole fried bone in chicken) vibes. It Could be the bite I took. The breading was very crisp and flavorful. Not heavy but light and crunchy. I can't wait to throw them in the air frier for dinner tonight! Yucca fries and tostones were great! Tostones were thin but lofty. Yucca fries were crisp with fluffy airy center. Just right! Service was good, I can tell they are family run, and try very hard to please you. Do not come here expecting several servers manning different sections of the restaurant at super speed. They are spread a little thin. But they do treat you very well and the food more than makes up for it! Ta to'. Buen provecho amigos.

I highly recommend. The service is quick. The ambiance is energetic with a lot of Dominican songs in the background. You can bring your own bottles for free.
