Feel like as asshole for not remembering his name but cool shop white guy in the back always takes care of my son and I, my son is not very good at sitting for a hair cut yet (2 year old) and he is patient and understanding with him but also very efficient! I drive from golden to go there and will continue to do so no matter the drive. Great shop make an appointment, all these other Karen's bitching probably just have nothing better to do read more

The white dude all the way in the back does not know how to cut hair he should not be cutting hair at all, i told this foo A taper fade and he did a whole ass different cut on me.... i'm never cutting my hair here again... this fool is rough on your head he was shoving the clippers on my head bad i'm not gonna lie the other guys looked good at list better then him read more

This is a great solid shop normally. Had a great cut from Mario for our 7yo so .. Was short side with a part on each side and combed over to the right, originally. Had lightening bolts on the sides. Awesome cut! Went back for a touch up of the same cut. Didn't get Mario, a different barber. Our fault! Ended up with a buzz cut. The barber said 1 and 4 (no clue) as a touch up should be the same cut touched up. Am I to know blade sizes? Does the barber know English or French in cutting quilts? Called to bring to Carlos' attention. Next time go to Mario or Carlos, and bring a picture and ask what length is a blade size. So Moms, Dads, Aunties and Uncles before you go know your clipper blade sizes and bring a picture. A trim or touch up is not the same as the original cut. Great shop if you get the right barber, make an appointment, and don't walk-on. Ended up with a blade size 1, 10 minute, $25 buzz cut. Front is uneven and back is not even. It's just a one time incident. Normally I would highly recommend this barber. read more

not a good experience. not from around the area so couldn't see my usually barber. but i had my regular barber tell me how he cuts my hair so i could then explain to others how to cut hair my hair how i like. first off, sides are waaaaaay too short and super uneven. homie didn't even listen to my explanation. the top half of my sides are buzzed up when i specifically said to just trim it with scissors. back was equally as short. just overall not good at all. definitely not worth $17. throughout the whole thing, he gave off a vibe that he didn't care. hair cut was super quick, felt like he just wanted to get it over with. didn't really care about you as a customer read more

The folks at Carlos' do an excellent job every time. They're easy to get into, even walk in, and the pricing is so reasonable. My guy and I can both get a haircut in under an hour read more

great hair cut, great environment overall just a great experience!! everyone is very friendly as well!

Mother of two boy's 11 & 13 here. My boy's have been getting their hair cut by Carlos for a couple years now. We ABSOLUTELY love him. Not only is he very outgoing & professional, he has an amazing eye for detail. Carlos alway's makes it a point to ask my boy's questions and go so far to remember important events in their lives. I'm extremely picky about my boy's hair. I've never once had to tell Carlos to blend or even anything out. The atmosphere is very relaxed and other customers seem to appreciate this setting as well. The shop is always extremely clean. If haircuts are an obligation, why not spend the time in a quality shop. ‍‍ read more

I usually go to Northglenn barbers, but I made the mistake of coming here because it was Sunday and Northglenn Barbers is closed on Sunday and I'm leaving town tomorrow. HUGE MISTAKE on my part. Got home and noticed my hair is way crooked. It's like an inch longer on the right than on the left. What a joke. The stylist rushed through my haircut like she was running from a fire. Totally chopped up, very sloppy, and she had the personality of a plane crash to boot. I wished I would've gotten her name, but I did not. On top of all that, their haircuts are 2 to 3 dollars more expensive than any other place around that does a way better job. What a joke. Pros: Location Open Sundays Cons: The stylists obviously don't care about you. Way overpriced considering the quality of the haircut that I just got. When I sat down in the chair I sat in a pile of someone else's hair. Apparently she was too busy or didn't care enough to clean up from the last customer. An absolute all-around bad experience. read more

Old lady, curly hair, she didnt follow my instructions at all, I left very unsatisfied and im never going back, Im sure the other barbers are all right but I just cant go back after such a bad haircut. She was talking on the phone, I started after my brother and I finished first, asked for a mid fade and she gave me a all around 1, cut my hair from the top rven though O said not to, and also receded my hairline read more

I got my haircut by some older Hispanic lady. The haircut was good, I love it. But she took a straight razor to the back of my neck, without my permission, and then ended up cutting my neck. It has been hurting all day, now it's a day later and it still hurts to touch. read more

If you need a place to get a haircut here this is the place! Everyone here is cool, funny and great barbers. I myself has always went Brian do my hair. He knows how to cut a good fade and listen to what you want done with your hair never misses a single detail. Price is great as well $14 for a hair cut you cannot beat that price!!! They also do take appointment as well. Overall I am really pleased with the level of professionalism all these guys and gals has here! Don't be afraid to come in they can do it all. read more

Excellent barbershop with nice fades. No appointments needed. Sometimes they are busy but we have never waited more than 15 minutes. $14 hair cuts. All the barbers do a great job. We usually just take whom ever is free next. We drive 20 minutes to come here and are happy to do so. Friendly family owned place. Good for kids and adults but clientele can be a bit vulgar at times and need to be reminded that kids can hear their conversations. read more

Came in to have Andres give me a post pandemic clean up. Best haircut/makeover I've ever had. I've been in before for quick cuts and a shave but they went above and beyond spent so much time making me looks presentable again. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Carlos Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Thornton, Colorado

Worst place to go. Customer service sucks. If you are not Hispanic you will be discriminated against. My son and I waited 1 1/2 hours for a hair cut. I was sitting next to a gentleman who was also waiting to get his hair cut. My son and I arrived about a 1/2 hour before this gentleman. My son was called up to get his hair cut and I was next on the list. Well since the gentleman was Hispanic they called him next. I went up and said "excuse me but I believe I'm next". They told me no this gentleman had an appointment. Wrong, little did they know I had talked to this gentleman for an hour and knew he didn't have an appointment. Not only did they outright lie to me but I know I was discriminated against because I am not Hispnic. Ownership and most of their employees only give good service to Hispanic customers. Stay clear of this discriminating establishment. Oh it should be a negative star but was able to rate it that way. read more

Decent place to get your hair cut. Everyone does a decent job. The service is pretty good, they have a list with everyone's name and you can put your name under who you want to get your hair cut with. There are better places that do cleaner fades and fresher cuts but if you are in a bind this place will take care of you, read more

Your best option is to make an appointment on Saturday's. I waited for 50 minutes and simply got tired of waiting. Walk-ins are not a priority and shame on me for thinking I could visit the barbershop Saturday midday and get a haircut. read more

I don't trust most "chain hair salons," so I typically look for smaller BARBER shops. The lady cutting my hair did great. And the price was fair. No wait. read more

My 12 year old son and I walked in for the first time for him to get a haircut today. Neither of the two people working there acknowledged him and he stood at the front table for about 15 minutes until someone else came in behind him and walked around him and signed their sign in sheet. A simple "Hello, feel free to sign in," would have worked. We sat there and waited a little longer but decided to leave. read more

Well if you are in the in crowd you can get a haircut, I just sat in the waiting area for an hour and twenty minutes and there wasn't even a hello. I understand taking appointments but dont say walkins are welcome if you wont even say hi. I have been going here for at least five years but no more, I say, no more. As far as i am concerned, Carlos and barbershop, roll it up and pick a hole to shove it in. read more

I have been going to this barber shop for such a long time but it has changed for the worst. If you want to wait way more than a hour this is the place. 3 names on the list when I signed in 9 of their family or friends got haircut ahead of us. Sorry to say this but I'll no longer go here again. read more

Best and most consistent fade in Colorado, and their fairly cheap especially considering how good they cut, I've heard people complain about the wait time but they get so busy because of how good they cut if you want a fast shitty hair cut go to super cuts next door, if you want a good fade this is the place to get it read more

Walked in there on a Sunday morning there was two ladies working when I saw the haircuts that they were doing I told my brother let's run asap. I can't believe the mess they were doing. First and last time even checking it out smh. read more

Great cuts, good prices this is the place to get hooked up.

I'm so thankful I found this spot customer service is awesome that's definitely hard to come by in our growing city.

I've been coming into this shop for almost 2 years and i never once have gotten a bad haircut. The shop is always so clean, and the barbers not only make you feel like family but are absolute professionals. Jeanette is my barber and she can easily cut with the best of them, and is always willing to go the extra mile to make me not only happy but also damn good! The whole crew is absoloutely talented and I've never once seen anybody leave dissatisfied. This is the place to come get you hair cut. I will continue to come here and only here. read more

Best place in Colorado to get trimmed up! My first time trying them out, there was no power on the block and they got it done right in the dark with only scissors. read more

Only place I get my hair cut. All the Barbers are legit. Brian's the man don't miss out he'll have your hair lookin right at a good price.

Worse Barber in town! He only works by appointment so he's not really a barber more like a salon.

I finally found a barber who actually knew what they were talking about. Jennet was able to give me very good advice on growing out my hair, that the other expensive barbers in Downtown, who charge way too much, couldn't even tell me. I can't stand paying $45 for a haircut by some poser, when I can get one for $21 , from an actual professional. She even shaped up my beard. And did a way better job than I ever have myself read more

Carlos Barbershop has the potential at being a good barbershop. I went at around 3:00 PM on a Monday and went in as a walk in. Prior to my visit, I called on the phone asking if they accepted walk ins. I was greeted with an angry person, and clearly did not want to be in the phone. Upon arrival, I was met with screaming kids with no parents inside to supervise them. I wrote my name down on a sign in sheet, and noticed that there were only two barbers. The floors were very dirty, and the shop was simply cluttered with all sorts of stuff. When it actually comes down to the haircut, I had the blonde female cut my hair. The hair cut was very average and was rushed. The overall quality of the cut was not up to most barbershops standards and was not worth $16. The barber was very friendly, and maintained a nice conversation though. I would look elsewhere if you want to find a real barbershop read more
