So we've been looking for a good place to get my Sons haircut in Brighton, we've tried 3 other…read moreplaces and they've all been a miss. I drove by this place on my way to get coffee. So I decided to try this place out. I wasn't disappointed the price I thought was a little high $23 , not sure how that happened but maybe because she lined my son out. Also there's a small charge if you use a card. But honestly she's come closer than anyplace else I've taken my Son to get his haircut. She also sells different Jordan's and a small variety of hats. Her J's change so you never know what she might have but nice little place. If your cool with a $20 cut than give this place a shot. Hours vary but I think for the most part thier 9-6

I've been to Bob's Barber for 3 years now and Bob's Barber Shop is like walking into to the barber…read moreshop in Mayberry. Jasper, the only barber there, is seasoned in his profession and has delivered exactly what I ask for each time. I've seen him cut all ages of hair and they all seem to like what he does. The shop is small with 2 barber chairs and about 7 waiting chairs and not enough room to change your mind in the place and it's perfect. He tells me every time that he's looking for another barber for the other chair but "hasn't found the right person yet." I doubt he ever will. Jasper has had other professions and retired from those before he started working here. It is owned by Bob's widow and Jasper works for her and that's how he wants it. He's good people.

Driving through town the light are what attracted me to give this place a shot. So to the point of the haircut, not that I have anything against Hispanics but it seems like they make you feel a little more comfortable if you are bilingual. When I sat down my particular barber only asked how short I wanted the sides and after he started I than interjected and told him how I wanted the rest of my haircut. The nice touch was he trimmed my eyebrows and other necessities and shaved my neck and sideburns with a straightrazor. Ultimately he did a good job but I think if I could have been bilingual it would have been a more enjoyable experience.

They keep a full staff so if you are in a bind and need a haircut asap you won't have to wait long. If you already come here and have your barber preference then you will have to ask how many he or she has waiting for them. Some barbers take appointments and you can call ahead and others are all first come first serve. As far as the quality and price it is top notch affordable and you will leave looking good and a few notches more confident. The vibes are always good, with music bumping and they usually offer you a bottle of water or soda while you wait. They don't have a working ATM at the moment, but that can change at anytime, there is a wells Fargo ATM a couple blocks away that i usually walk to if there's a wait or driver thru before i go there. The staff is predominantly Spanish speaking but they got a bunch of barbers that can speak English as well. If you come in and can't communicate what you want show them a picture on your phone or have one of the other barbers translate for you. Don't blame other people for your inabilities to speak more than one language that's something you need to work on, not them. You're the one walking in to their business.
