I probably won't be going back because they require masks to be worn at all times and I know masks are not effective and even the CDC confirms this. My haircuts have been good but I can get a good haircut elsewhere and not have to wear a mask. J read more

I have had many haircuts here and the two barbers I have had have been great. First come first serve is nice and the rates are affordable and the barbers are friendly and professional.only reason I don't give 5 stars is my kids have had haircuts here and one barber tends to cut their hair shorter than requested. Can't say I care for the mask mandate as I find it pointless . read more

I've been going here for about a year and usually during weekdays. I called on Saturday morning and was advised only one person waiting. When I arrived there were 5 people waiting (certainly could have just walked in). I decided to wait anyways. All 5 customers receive their haircut and leave the barber. Rich's chair opens and I am up next. An older gentleman walks in and Rich calls him over to take the chair. I confirmed there was not appointments on Saturday and left. Barbers did not care I was skipped. Moral of story, if you are in a rush, don't go here as it is not first come first serve but also no appointments on Saturday so its a crapshoot. read more

I haven't had time or money to get a haircut own at my normal barber down in Thornton so I looked up barbers on maps and found this little gem. Shop can't achieve the haircut you ask for, even if you show a picture. The "owner" jeri cut my hair and did her own style and only faded in one side of my beard. Also very depressing to talk to. She didn't even show me her work at the end so i couldn't see where she skipped work. Wont be returning. Very outdated stylists. read more

The clown who wrote the other review, actually makes the ridiculous claim to be a Sheriff in his profile, is a bona fide mental defective. His "review" is at best ABSURD. This is a shop with an owner who can give a real men's haircut that looks right and STAYS right after your next shampoo without re-"styling" it with a liter of hairspray. The haircuts here are MULTIPLE TIMES better than the hack fumbling cuts you get in the ones attached to well know grocery stores and shopping marts. For instance, the hair going down the back of my head and neck grows in different directions in very strong swirls...kind of like an extra cowlick. There used to be a shop over on Pearl Street in Denver that could cut it right, but Jim retired years ago.... I lucked out and got some good cuts from a lady at a Mart "salon", but true to the pattern of LOTS of turnover in employees she was only there through a summer... ...since then St John's is the ONLY place I've found that does it right. There is NO WAY this woman or her staff are bad barbers. The only thing I don't like is the long waiting lines... and why is that? ...Because there are MANY men who KNOW they're not going to get a Varnished "Styling" that will wash out with the first shampoo. No "salon" here... This is a REAL BARBER SHOP!!! One of the BEST!!! Honest!!! Ignore the other review, it's idiotic. read more

Guys if you have a beard and need it trimmed and cleaned up don't be afraid to have Jerri trim you up. It seems like most social media posts I see when guys have their beard trimmed they leave the chair crying because the barber or whoever turned in to a butcher instead of a barber. My beard is 3"+ and was a little on the wild side. I was terrified to let her trim it even though I've been in there several times for haircuts and knew I could trust her with my haircut just not sure about my beard. I walked away with my beard looking even more epic than when I walked in and she said "WOW look at the beard!" (and she meant it in a good way I'm pretty sure) I will not hesitate in the future to have her trim my beard. read more

I've been getting my hair cut there for a few years now. The owner Jeri, is the only one I let cut my hair. Sorry but the other girls don't do as god a job as she does.
