I highly recommend Powell Express Moving. Roger and Jesse…read morecame to my place and did a thorough assessment of what needed to be moved and how it would be moved. He explained wonderfully every aspect of the move. He gave what proved to be a very accurate estimate of how long the move would take. Another company I called gave an hourly rate but did not come to my place so had no idea what needed to be moved or how long it would take and thus how much it would cost. After speaking with Roger I was confident that all of my belongings would be handled in the most careful, professional and efficient way. Powell Express is a very professional operation with great equipment to make the move as efficient as possible. All went smoothly. If I ever move again I will definitely call Powell Express to do the job.

I attempted to get a quote for my in-state move about four hours away and this is the conversation…read morethat followed Unfortunately it looks like will be going with someone else and based off these reviews the rest of you should as well. The sad part is that I can't even get a review out of it and he told me it's in about 1500 mark dollars but wouldn't give me any more information and refuses to be a professional. How can I trust someone to move my precious belongings and memories when they're going to be screwy on the page where I asked for a quote?? Feeling concerned I later got a call from Mr. Roger who told me he refused to work with me and didn't know the difference between an inventory list and an detailed list. I suggest you use a mover who knows how to be professional, mature and above all knows the trade. Harassing potential customers is a terrible way to grow your business.

I reached out to Hawkeye Junk Removal via Facebook back in April. Jeremy responded to me within…read moreminutes and gave me a quote based on what I wanted to dispose of and where said items were located. I believe I contacted him on a Friday evening and he was able to get my couches picked up on Monday afternoon. Two couches sustained mold damaged while being in storage for almost 2 years, so we had to part with them. We left the couches inside our fenced-in yard. Jeremey came by, picked them up and let us know when he left. He accepts several different forms of payment; we happened to use Venmo. I'd say our job was on the easier side, but it appears they handle and haul all kinds of junky situations. Highly recommend. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

The first place I went to was going to be closed for most of the weekend and could not get it done in time so he sent me here I walked in on a Wednesday and they told me they would have it ready the next day, which is absolutely fantastic. Yes, it's pricey. I seem to keep running into that with dry cleaners but I had two Silk shirts that there is no other option but they have them dry cleaned, and I had spilled something on a pair of capris that there was no way that was going to come out in a campground, laundry room plus they needed to be pressed Everything was ready the next day as they promised, very friendly service too
