She told us she was going to breed one of her females with a flame male, but that never happened. All this time later I get an email saying one of her females, a tortie, had a litter and that she wanted $250 (non-refundable deposit) immediately. I told her I wasn't exactly ready to pay her the deposit and that I wanted to come by again to see the babies. Then she responds 2 minutes later, saying: ---Felicia, The kittens are only 1 week old. No one comes over until they are around 6 weeks old. Other breeders want deposits before the kittens are even born and the deposits are non refundable. I dont do that, but I do expect deposits once the kittens are born. I explained that to you over the phone when we first spoke and it was also in the email I originally sent to you. I no longer feel comfortable with you adopting a kitten from me, so you are free to go to another breeder. If you go to www.rfci.org you will find other breeders listed by state. Good luck, Laura -------------- I'm bewildered and so disheartened right now. I was looking forward to getting a kitten from her and now, for God knows why, she sent me away saying she no longer wants to adopt a kitten to me. She clearly has psych issues or is just a very mean person. I would definitely not recommend this breeder! So disappointed!!!

He was around my daughter's dog on a daily basis. Around 16-18 months we noticed a change in his behavior. We signed up for training classes with Colt Canine. Not only did Maverick need the training, but I also needed to learn how to work with Maverick. Maverick is doing awesome. My daughter's dog can come over and they play together, lay on the couch together. We attend training because I want Maverick to continue to be around other dogs on a regular basis. Kerry loves loves loves dogs. Kerry does a great job with the owners too. You can see and hear her passion during our training session. Think emotionally scarring a dog is impossible? Think again!…read more These people SHAVED our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, despite explicit instructions to keep their fur long. I'm not sure what the groomers did to them, but they were so traumatized they were shaking. When they got home they kept barking at nothing, and looked so frightened. They weren't back to normal for months. We went there many times before this, and had mediocre experiences. But this was beyond mortifying. I can't believe groomers could treat our dogs like that, let alone how they treated my mother. The groomers refused to refund our money, and said horrifying things to my mother. She was in tears after their conversation. It was a heinous experience. Edit: In response to the owner, that's simply untrue. They were groomed 6 WEEKS before, and while they were matted, it certainly didn't warrant shaving them down to their skin. But even if that were true, the way you treated my mother, yelling at her, and treating her like an animal(or how you clearly treat animals..), is beyond reproach.

We had never been thrilled, but there was one groomer we liked who was mysteriously fired the day before we brought our dogs in. My mother was VERY specific with what she wanted--keep their fur long, let her know if there are any problems. Not only did they ignore her instructions and SHAVE all three of our dogs, but THEY CHARGED HER EXTRA for "detangling mats," which was ridiculous, because obviously they didn't do any such thing, they just shaved them off. They pressured my mom to pay before she saw the dogs (which she did, never imagining they would have gone against her explicit instructions). She was shocked when she saw them, to the point of tears. The people at "Pampered Pup" had the audacity to defend what they did, and didn't offer her any kind of refund. Rude. Completely inept. And, beyond all that, our dogs now shake and whine any time they fear they may be taken to the groomers. DO NOT GO HERE.
