When I asked the staff for their preferences, the overwhelming majority chose The Public House--many of us dine here regularly and genuinely enjoy both the food and the welcoming atmosphere. As the department cardholder, I coordinated directly with the owner to place 34 individual lunch orders. He made the process incredibly easy by allowing me to send one organized list with each employee's name and their chosen meal. I'll admit, I felt a wave of anxiety taking on such a large, detailed order; I worried something might get mixed up and that I'd end up facing complaints. I'm happy to share that my worries were completely unfounded. The owner and his team went above and beyond to ensure every single order was prepared accurately and on time. Not only was everything perfect, but the staff absolutely loved their meals...there wasn't a single complaint. What impressed me even more was that the owner personally delivered all 34 orders himself. That level of dedication and customer service is truly rare, and it meant so much to all of us. The Public House exceeded our expectations in every possible way, and I can't thank them enough for helping make a long meeting day run so smoothly. Restroom was clean but it does have a bit of a restroom smell, and it only has one toilet. If the bartender had been more welcoming and interested in sharing a bit more about the concept, we would give it a second try when we head out there again. It's always good to try other food items and beers, but the vibe doesn't warrant a second try. I can understand if a place is busy, but we were there at 2pm on a Saturday and were two of four at the bar and he didn't look to be super busy with the restaurant as a whole. Usually, choices are slim, mostly fast food. Today we were lucky, Eternity Brewking was open until 6 p.m. I dropped the idea of doing yoga and we got our butts to the place since it was 5 p.m. We kike it a lot. Service was excellent, Kylie (?) was fantastic, friendly, funny, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. She was great with all the customers. The space is open, simple, and comfortable promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Few items on the menu, are simple, and tasty. I had grilled cheese with one of the best tomato soups I had in a long time, great combo. Plenty of gooey yummy cheese and toasted crispy bread I washed that down with a flight of very interesting beers. The one that took me by surprise is When Life Gives You Blueberries. Deceiving and sneaky. My nose thought I was going to drink wine and my taste buds were surprised with the tart-sour taste nothing like a beer. My husband had the chili dog and enjoyed it very much.
