We just moved here and wanted some food close by. We felt very unwelcomed as soon as we walked in and sat at the bar. We ordered burgers for the whole family, and all of us spent the entire night fighting over the bathroom. We were all incredibly sick. The owners response "you were the only one who got sick." And then blocked us from their social media. It's just a terrible, run down feeling biker bar, that always has something bad going on here. There was an incident where someone got stabbed here a few months ago and a controversial incident where a woman drank here, left, and killed people with her vehicle. read more

I lived in Newport my whole life, stopped in for a burger on 12/16/22 around 5 pm there was about 8 people in the whole bar including us. There was 3 people working and not a single one of them even acknowledged us even though they walked by us 3 times. We left after another couple walked in sat at the bar and was taken care of immediately. Never again Jerry's Frenchtown or Sal's place has way better service. read more

I'd give this bar -20 stars if possible after the experience tonight. The owner of the bar came up to our table claiming we were stealing from the bar because we were buying so many beers at a time, mind the fact we had a 10+ party table. To continue the fiasco, their staff, who had sold us the beers, came and took them back as told us we needed to leave, & then "regulars" who were all of 19+ of age (yes they were serving minors) got in our faces and stared screaming that we need to leave. Mind the fact that we've as a group have already dropped more than $200. This establishment is a JOKE and the customers and staff and management are rude, arrogant, & really bad at math apparently. Don't waste you time here, head over to the OT Lounge or Northside Bar at least their you'll be treated with respect after dining with the establishment. It seems that after tonight this "owner" should take another business class or two, along with proper customer service. Don't waste your time or money at this horrendous bar. This is a small local bar, family owned for decades. They do good bar food and during the summer have a Friday steak dinner, you get a NY strip baked potato and salad for $10, cook the steak on the outside grill the way you like it.
