Things were pretty good for years but something changed and they now only care about getting more money out of you. Dr Blair has never been very good at listening and comes off as condescending at times. They tried to get me to pay a few hundred dollars more for some different brand contact lenses even though my insurance pays 100% for my medically necessary contacts. I said NO and they weren't happy about that but they said fine. I did continue going back for a few years and every year the doctor kept trying to tell me that they were going to be discontinuing the contacts I have been getting and I will have to get the more expensive ones. I am in a Facebook group for scleral lenses and there are several eye DR.'s in the group that said they absolutely are NOT discontinuing them. I just don't trust a doctor that lies to me. I found a new eye doctor and have better vision than I ever had with Dr. Blair. My new eye doctor has had several patients that switch from Dr. Blair and she said they have all had experiences similar to mine with Dr. Blair and his office. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, keep looking. There are better alternatives out there. My new eye doc is Dr. Kristin Gunn at Opticare in Fort Mitchel KY and she is fantastic.

I think started hippa and fraud then she got in my opinion got defensive and said no we don't share information. With that being said I asked how my information that I put in the computer myself was linked to this other person? She said it was the company who inputs the information in for them. I told her it was fraudulent and against hippa she told me it was not. The next person came in thinking maybe this was the eye doctor and she told the original girl helping me and told her just to do a paper chart. He and Stacey were working on my glasses and when customers came in, they made sure to attend to them right away, while the other worked continuously on my glasses. I apologized ahead of the conversation with Ra'Niece before we spoke because I was frustrated because I knew last year I did not pay for the replacement I had in 2025. She did show me a receipt from 2024 when I did pay the 25$ and I told her thanks but I just wanted transparency and honesty that they have never shown me that the 35$ protection plan I purchased came with a 25$ fee to replace lenses. Once Ra'Niece finally confirmed that to me it was fine until I said that she doesn't have to be so hostile. I don't know if it's because she is going through something in her life but you should not attack a customer with a hostile demeanor especially if I said it's fine and there is no need for hostility when I have calmed down. She should always remain professional. All she had to do is apologize and I wouldn't have to write this review. It was difficult to get the spelling of her name. The main reason she was getting mad was because they said that Michelle wasn't there but she was but on break. That's fine. Just say that. Don't lie about her not being there. We were told that someone had to have reached out to us to inform us of this prior to the appointment which didn't happen. I didn't receive an email, text, call or voicemail from them regarding the issue. I will definitely never be coming back even for myself given that they don't even have an actual eye doctor in person and it's all virtual.
