I went in today to have a watch battery replaced and some repairs done on a ring. First I was told…read morethat the repair man wasn't in and I would have to wait until... maybe the end of the day or tomorrow or the day after (it was already 3:15pm). So then I asked about the repairs to the ring. I was referred to someone else, who told me that it would take at least 15 business days, but if I was willing to pay extra, I could have it in 3 days. Since this was really quite a simple repair, I was somewhat put out. I said that I was surprised it should take so long, and that I had never before walked into a jewelers that couldn't replace a watch battery on the spot. The girl told me that was because the fellow who would usually do this was upstairs right now doing all those 3-day repairs (the same fellow, I presume, that was supposedly not there at all.) While I was speaking to her, another customer came in asking for a pocket watch that he had brought in for repairs over a month and a half earlier. He said no one had called and he wanted to know what was going on with his watch. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere.

Aram was very peasant to work with in person, he even lowered the price to $20 when he actually saw my necklace, fixed, even polished nicely. Now I am looking for more jewelries to repair.

We knew were were in great hands with Vasken from the get-go. We were referred to Vasken by a close friend that also purchased his engagement ring from here. With any big purchase, we had to do our due diligence by shopping around and even saw a family friend that owns a jewelry store who said "if he can get you that diamond at that price, go with him." Vasken has the diamonds on site for you to physically see, he explains everything there is to know about the stones, settings and quality. He really took the time to get to know us and answer all questions. Every visit with Vasken was exciting and we left with excitement for the final product. When I got my ring last week, I can truly say it turned out 100x better than I even imagined. Of course I had a style and look in mind but he took that vision and created a ring that surpassed both of our expectations. We cant wait to refer him to other friends and family! Thank you again, Kayla and Michael
