X rays were taken, a good cleaning, then the exam by the doc. The doc tells me I need two fillings replaced, simple procedure, will solve my problem. I make an appointment to have this done. I will have to wait a month but I figure I can tough it out. So the day comes, I arranged to take the day off work and was so glad to have this fixed. Then the doc pulls the ole bait and switch on me. Now he tells me he can't replace the fillings. I ask can he pull the tooth ? The ole doc tells me no, then tries referring me to one of us buddies to have the tooth pulled. Then he got mad because I would not accept a referral to have his buddy pull the tooth. and embarrassed me in front of other patients in the waiting room. To those of you who have had a good experience with the doc I say God bless. My experience was terrible and will let everyone who will listen know what was done to me. Totally unethical.

Dietrich Orthodontics was recommended to us by our family dentist. From the first time we walked in…read morethe door (and every time after) we were greeted with smiling faces. The office is clean. Staff are friendly. You get the feeling that everyone is happy to be there & enjoys their job! We were impressed by how well the office ran on our consultation and knew right away that we would be choosing Dietrich Orthodontics. They are extremely generous with their Kids Club activities & prizes and it helps the kids look forward to going to appointments & entering contests. I'm amazed at how different my son's experience with braces was, compared to mine. His experience was a positive one and he never complained about his braces once! He just got the braces off and his teeth look great! I'm amazed! We have one more who will need braces & we will definitely be returning to Dietrich Orthodontics. UPDATE: number 2 just got her braces off & her teeth look amazing! She's so excited! Because of how much we've enjoyed working with Dietrich Orthodontics, I decided to get a consultation for myself. I was a little embarrassed as an adult going in for my consultation, but the staff quickly put me at ease. I felt welcomed. Having had braces before (but didn't wear my retainer properly) the last thing I wanted was braces. My teeth shifted so much over the years that I was having trouble with my bite. I decided to go for it! The staff have been very helpful in coordinating family appointments as much as possible, which is much appreciated!

Parents beware…read more We've had 3 visits to the office and only 1 has been good. This last visit the dental hygienist belittled my child by saying she was acting like she was in PreK and not K because she was scared to try the sucker. They have twice now insulted me as a parent for acknowledging my kids fears. I have a child on the spectrum who has a huge fear of the dentist (thanks to a different dentist) and these fears have trickled down to my neurotypical child, and I have a lot of knowledge of psychology and special needs. The way to alleviate fears is #1) acknowledging the emotion #2) gentle encouragement to face these fears. Exposure therapy comes in steps. You have a fear of spiders you don't throw a spider in someone's lap. You start with pictures and pretending your hand is a spider. Then you see spiders from a distance behind glass. Slowly you get closer until you eventually touch one and then hold one. It's a slow steady process. This place instead of being a dental office pretends to know something about psychology (they do not) and tells you that you as a parent are making the kids scared. Then when your child is crying, they try to push and manipulate them to do what you want rather than try to help the kid past the fear. Even though our first experience was the opposite (Becky was the first dental hygienist we saw and she was FANTASTIC) I will never again go back to this place and I really hope other parents don't either.

Even the first year that my husband was seeing these folks, working with a different dentist, they seriously over billed us and filed the insurance incorrectly. It took me over six months and multiple billing rounds to clear up the thousand$ of dollars of over charges. I don't trust any doctor/dentist who has one hand in my pocket while he is treating me.
