The reader should decide for themselves…read more My dentist retired, and I was looking for a new one to place a crown on a recent implant and provide a cleaning (I have cleanings performed every six months). I made an appointment at Summit Dental in Canton. A young dental hygienist said that there were a few areas that required a deep cleaning with an anesthetic. Dr. Storm came in to discuss and told me that he wanted to do the cleaning first (an expensive procedure). I told him that I had been waiting for the crown on my implant for almost a year and asked him to put the crown in first. Please note that the implant was on the other side of my mouth and was prepped and recently checked by an oral surgeon, so a deep cleaning of the area was not necessary. The doctor agreed to place the crown first. Two weeks later, the office called, and a lady wanted to set up a date for the cleaning. I told her that Dr. Storm agreed to place the crown first. She seemed like she didn't believe me. I asked her to check with the doctor. Two weeks later, I called to schedule my crown. The lady I spoke to said that they would not place the crown until the cleaning was done. Needless to say, I started a search for a new dentist. A hygienist at the new office, obviously with a great deal more experience, conducted an evaluation and came up with much different results. No deep cleaning with sedation was necessary. I received a regular cleaning and later, a crown. After this episode, I have heard of similar situations involving a dentist (not Summit Dental) ordering a deep cleaning, which turned out to be unnecessary. The only advice I could give is that you should seek a second opinion if something doesn't sound right. In my case, it was a broken agreement between me and a dentist on which procedure would be performed first that drove me to a second opinion. The funny thing to me was that after all of this, the lady I spoke with at Summit Dental acted surprised when I called to have my records transferred to a new dentist!

Staff is friendly, very clean, they make you rinse with diluted hydrogen peroxide which is totally disgusting but once you get past that everything is pretty chill. Totally would recommend this guy.

I had a root canal done and it wasn't bad at all. In and out quickly with very little pain. Very good hours. Open till 7 a couple nights a week and also open on Saturdays! The office is very clean, and makes you feel comfy and at home. The receptionist always greets you with a welcoming smile. The dental rooms are located in front of large windows so there's plenty of natural light. The rooms are impeccably clean and they have the most up to date technology. Dr. Boss is knowledgeable, informative, friendly and very good at her job. The same can be said for her staff. I have tried to think of something negative I could say about this office so that I don't appear to be biased but honestly I can't come up with a thing. My anxiety when it came to the dentist was horrible which lead me to let my teeth go. I came to Dr. Roth with probably 10 plus cavities. After my first appointment of just x-rays (knowing I need fillings and novocaine) I canceled and rescheduled so many times that no other dentist would have accepted me as a patient probably. Dr. Roth was patient and understanding. She's always kind and really takes time to know me and what's going on with my teeth. I hate going to a new facility and spent months trying to decide as well as asking others who they recommended. When searching the phone book many times my eyes seemed to draw me to Dr. Raguanthan, I scheduled an appointment for my husband and I and I can't say enough how glad I am with my choice. The staff and Dr. were SO friendly I felt like I had been going there for years. Dr. Ragu answered all questions asked and checked on me several times while waiting on x-rays to see if I was ok. About a week after our visit to Dr. Ragu and staff we received a Thank You card in the mail, I still can't get over that, I have NEVER been to a health care facility that has been SO caring and thoughtful.
