Our choice was to find different insurance or a new dentist. We chose the latter. Very unprofessional way of doing business. 3 to 6 months notice would have been the professional way to do this, giving patients time to complete needed work and then make alternate arrangements.

The hygienist, the dentist and the office manager. I was in control of my treatment plan. There was no high pressure to have bridges made for my my missing molars, as I had read online. They were offered, I declined, end of story. I return today to start treatment for periodontal disease and bone loss. Less than 24 hours after my initial exam. Yes...treatment is expensive but that's life these days. Medical care is expensive....it's not the staff's fault people have bad or no dental insurance. People really need to stop taking it out on staff. At the end of the day....they are a business, not a charity. I cannot say I am looking forward to today....I'm very squeamish about dental procedures but I do feel mentally prepared for what lay ahead due to the extensive explanation of care I was given.

He asked how I've been and I said other than the 10 migraines I've had in the last two months. I'm great. ( never having migraine before)rather than just saying that that's too bad he said lets take a look at this, even though I was not due for x-rays he did a full x-ray and found that I had an infection on a two year-old root canal. after that correction and a round of antibiotics, I have not had a migraine since and I was able to complete a vigorous bike ride from the Ohio river to Lake Erie with a group of boys that I would've had to cancel. I have not had a migraine since. without Dr. Coyle doing his due diligence, I may still be suffering. Please take your dental health seriously as seriously as Dr. Coyle has taken mine.
