It is a bummer that she does not accept insurance, but in other hand, no insurance will give her a hard time. He encouraged her to go to a center that focused on domestic abuse. She was driven there by the woman that recommended his services. She told me that he was a licensed therapist and that she was seeing him for counseling. That was what she believed. For her it appeared to be a one stop shop for all of her needs. At the time she began seeing him she had been in counseling for approximately four years. We were in couples counseling together. She was asked to leave the place she was staying with the woman that referred her to "Dr Rob" due to her manic behavior. She lived on the streets for six months and racked up tons of debt. She is struggling to survive daily living in a group home. She has completely isolated herself. She has limited her involvement with her children and grandchildren to almost nothing. She has not seen her grandchildren in almost 2 years. She struggles to find a reason to get out of bed. She trusted him completely, until she didn't. It's ok to do a legitimate background check on service providers. Spend a few dollars and know what you are getting yourself into. You have to do you.
