This is a fun place for kids (even adults who are still kids at heart and have the energy of a…read morekid!)... Great place to go and let kids jump, run, and play for 90 mins. We went when the weather was 70 degrees, which was perfect because the kids worked up a sweat! The staff was present and available. There was a kid inside the bounce house being reckless and the staff quickly rectified the situation. The place was clean and felt safe. FunBox is located in the Avenues Mall parking lot. They have Porta potties in the area, but you can leave and go to the mall food court restrooms if you prefer. As long as you keep your wristband on, you can come and go as you please. Adults must accompany their kids (no dropping off your kid and leaving), seating is first come first serve, there's a snow cone stand ($6.00) and a free shoe store area. You can bring your own water and snacks in. Nonslip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase some at FunBox. Music was good and it was a fun time. If your kid likes bounce houses, then they'll love this place. It's HUGE! My picture doesn't do it justice. SN: I read some of the proceeds of Funbox goes to foster care kids. A company doing good things for society is a plus!

We have done two escape rooms here and have generally had a good time. I did the first, Antidote,…read morewith my 11 year old son. The staff helped us a couple of times when we got stuck and we escaped in time. It was a lot of fun. Today, we went back with my husband and 13 year old to do the Batman room. Everyone put different pieces of the puzzles together and we did fairly well until the last room where we got stumped. Despite asking the guide to help us when we got behind, we continually got the same "hint" at the end that wasn't helpful. After we failed to escape, she came in and explained what we were supposed to do, which I think is exactly what we were doing, so either I misunderstood or the game wasn't working properly. It was a bit of a bummer for what was intended for a fun family outing. So, we built character instead, and focused on the first 50-55 minutes which were pretty fun. I share this only to educate that even if you ask for help, you should be aware you might still not escape. I still want to try the Scooby Doo room, but might try the other easier room (or maybe just a different company) first.

They're really good about giving hints to keep the game fun. Some of the stuff is starting to look old and worn and some of the locks on the doors and cases are kind of beaten up. We were delayed over 10 minutes from our scheduled start time. Other than those minor things this place is great!

We have about 5 different ones with tickets somehow, so it would have been nice to put all the tickets on one card, but we are going to try to use it from lowest to highest. I placed $20 into the machine and played two rounds and an error came up. I went to the young lady working the register and then to the young man working the door to explain what happened. They went to get the manager and in the meantime our food buzzer went off. I told the young lady that I was going to grab my food, then sit and eat and showed her where I was sitting (we didn't move). She never came. I went for a refill and saw other actively playing the game. I went to the young girl and said "yes it's fixed"...why did no one come and tell me as I had put $20 in. She didn't know so I asked for the manager and waited. She came out finally and told me no one is guaranteed a win...what???? And then she said if you abandon your machine then any one can play. I tried several times to explain to her that I wasn't complaining about not winning I was complaining about the money. Nicole then stated that her GM had given her approval to give me a free turn. $20 for 2 turns ???? It's not the carnival or Disney world! And I will say that Nicole herself lied...she never called the GM because before I knew who she was...I watched her standing in the kitchen leaning on her elbows in between silver shelves talking to the cook. Leaning all over the food and kitchen area with no hair nets on either one of them. So, although they've upgraded and a couple of areas are better...management needs some more training. Sorry it was grand daughter's favorite place.
