I can't wait to be back! If you haven't tried this place, get going!!

The store is very compact so if you come at a busy time in the morning or on the weekend be prepared to line up outside, but they do a good job of keeping the line moving. If you arrive early in the morning - before 7:30am you should still have a full selection of donuts - any later you are risking some flavors of being sold out. I will continue to go here any time I am looking for donuts in the morning!

We got two breakfast sandwiches; sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant & the ultimate bagel (sausage, bacon, and ham). Both were excellent. Croissant was buttery and the sandwich was delicious and not greasy. The bagel was also delicious, pillowy and light. To drink we got the BEST fruit tea in the passion fruit flavor. I've been missing these from where I live in California and this was perfect. Second drink was a coconut mocha. Also delicious. Fantastic coffee, no bitterness, and the chocolate coconut flavor was perfect. We went late in the day but they still had a great selection of donuts. We did a box of a half dozen (cream cheese filled, custard filled chocolate long John, maple old fashioned, sugar twist, and two maple bacon long Johns. And the owner was kind enough to give me a bonus fritter. Hands down best donuts in central MN. This is what a donut shop should be. The inside shop is so cute and extremely clean. There are plenty of places to sit if you'd like to enjoy your food or beverage there. 10/10 recommend if you're anywhere near Monticello or wanting a a well worth road trip. On my visit, there were three or four people in line which gave me time to install the app and sign up for the loyalty program! I had an iced "candy bar" latte and had to specify the type of candy bar I wanted. The drink was very sweet and tasted like a liquid snickers mixed with coffee. Overall, it was very good, but next time I am going to specify half the syrup or try a plain coffee. The staff was very friendly and had me "scoot on up" after ordering. The only negative is that it is a little more expensive than other chain coffee shops but not by a lot. Definitely worth checking!

You would've thought we just told her that her dog died or something. Definitely seems like someone who would spit in your drink if you asked her to scan an app instead of giving a phone number. I've worked in the restaurant industry for quite a few years and there are much worse asks than that When you're paying almost $6-7 for a drink, some basic courtesy might be nice. My one complaint is at the drive thru speaker when I'm picking up an online order. They almost always find it necessary to tell me how they "just received" my order and it's not ready yet, sometimes even going as far to say they may have me circle around again. I'm aware that my order may not be ready when I pull up to the speaker, but by the time I get to the window after they serve the 3-4 cars in front of me, it should at least be close. After all, if I ordered at the speaker they would have it ready at the window, so why is it necessary to tell people this? It's not a big deal, but still unnecessary and kind of annoying.
