Easy street parking and it wasn't a busy morning. I was greeted when I walked in. Plenty of seating once you go further back. I don't remember what I got but it was really good! I got it with oat milk. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a new coffee shop to try out!

The baked goods are always delicious- today, we had a mini key lime pie and a chocolate scone. We chatted with Judy who was checking on all of the boutique displays- she was very friendly and made our visit even nicer. North Mankato has such a gift in having Neutral Groundz as a cafe and meeting spot. I haven't even left Minnesota yet, and I'm already thinking about returning for coffee and whatever fabulous baked goods they have to offer on our next trip this way.

My total for a large iced latte ended up being over $9. I suppose this might be commonplace for pricing anymore but I don't go out to coffee shops very often. I had checked their menu on their website before going and it must be VERY out of date considering the flavored lattes on there are listed as $4.48 for a medium. I'd recommend looking at pricing on DoorDash instead if you are curious. I don't think their menu board had pricing but I could have missed it maybe??? Employees were nice and happy to help me choose the right coffee for me. Service was quick. The shop was cute but there were quite a few flies so I left pretty quickly after getting my drink.

We started with strawberry iced tea with hibiscus ice cubes, which was so refreshing. We ordered a pot of the jade oolong, and it was delicious, although the whole menu is huge and the variety is fantastic. The food was AMAZING; it's all vegan, but even us meat-eaters were satisfied! We started with warm cherry fig scones (shaped like teapots!), then had loaded potato salad, butterbean soup, and various tea sandwiches (the vegan "pastrami" from The Herbivorous Butcher was so good!). The dessert tray was the high point, though: dark chocolate orange chia pudding with coconut whipped cream, their famous almond tea cookies, and these tropical fruit pastries that I can't remember the name of. My boyfriend is not normally a fan of sweets and he still ate most of his half, which is saying something! The shop itself is adorable; the decor is eclectic and cozy, and there's a little shop in the back where you can buy bags of their tea as well as other cute products. I definitely want to go back again to try their other teas and just sit and read. Seriously, this is one of my favorite places in the area!

The seating area is cute and has lots of small tables. They have some magazines to read and guest wifi. Clean bathroom. They also have free fruit infused water I'd be a regular for sure if I lived in town. Would be a great place to meet a friend or to go on a day date. Getting any form of pearls in your drink is an up-charge to a drink that is already pretty overpriced, especially for how bad it tastes. My friends and I all had different drinks and all had to toss them after a few sips because they made us feel sick (something we've not experienced with any other bob stores). The service was admittedly fast, but that's really the only thing going for this place. I really hope that they can manage to improve, but unfortunately I'm not sure that they're going to be able to last for long.
