Management at Auslander was nothing but rude and outright accusatory after one of their employees…read morescammed us out of our deposit. I'll try to sum it up. After a few back and forth emails discussing our travel dates and condo needs via email with one of their employees I was provided with a paypal account to send our deposit to and she responded with confirmation. Two days before our Christmas vacation I contacted Auslander with a few questions to only be told we had no reservation and that they don't accept paypal. Management said my email was hacked. When I asked for the employee that took my reservation, I was told she no longer worked there. After contacting the authorities, I was then told that person that worked there had skipped town right before Thanksgiving- and I quote "she just up and vanished - left town - never showed up for work". Auslander still sticks to the story that my email was hacked. I never received an apology or an offer to find us another place or to move our dates around. All she said was 'go fight it with paypal - your credit card company will reimburse you." This was not about the money - we got our money back - this is about the management at Auslander not showing any remorse for 2 families Christmas vacation ruined by one of their former employees two days before we were to arrive

She yelled out in pain and bent down to grab her hamstring. As she hopped around a bit, Rob's dog jumped up towards and nipped at her face. In the moment, the client didn't realize that the dog had reacted to a perceived threat to his owner. Rob looked alarmed, acted quickly to yank his dog down then placed it in his jeep. The situation could have turned dreadful, but thankfully, it was all good. Rob is gracious and propitiating. We hope to work with him in the future.

She was patient with our 15 month old and helped to catch him in some amazing poses! She was great with kids and adults. She asked us personally what we liked and tailored our shoot to that, along with the weather and lighting. When we received the pictures, I literally cried because they were so wonderful. They were so amazing that we actually had one of the portraits of our son painted and it is beyond special to us now and hangs above the mantle in our living room.
