This review is on a catering order for a 50th birthday party. Ms. Jodie was the instrumental to get this order done for 60-70 ppl. We ended up updating the order to be fulfilled in half pans so 2 can fit in the chafing pans. That worked out perfectly! Pick up was simple and easy, however they didn't have boxes. Each pan easily went into my truck but required a few trips back & forth. The quality of the food was super fresh, enough spice and the rice & peas were the star of the show. Not a drop was left! Cabbage, jerk chicken, plantains, cocktail beef patties & rasta pasta made for something everyone could eat. Guests were pleased and there was plenty to send relatives home with a plate. If you're in the Dallas/Hiram area, check them out. read more

Caribee Jerk - Tastes good!! Very professional. - Caribbean Near Me - Dallas, Georgia

I'm always looking for Caribbean spots near by, so I was happy to come across this spot. Called to make sure they had o tail & the lady was pleasant. Business was flowing when I arrived. Seems like everyone was ordering to go since it was a Friday night, but they did have a seating area too. It's what you'd expect of a whole in the wall spot. Not sure what the bathrooms are like, cus I stayed in the front. Only thing I didn't see, but might've been ok the menu was the Jamaican patty display. I ordered an oxtail plate with rice & peas, cabbage, & plantain. The rice & peas were kinda soft -- I prefer mine more stern. The plantains were a bit rubbery like they sat out for a lil while, the oxtails had a sweet flavor to it, but the cabbage was fresh. Portion size was decent. Got the large for $30+ & had left overs. I'd come back again, but would prolly stick to a small - which is $19 before taxes. read more

The portions, the flavors, the price is the best in the area. A great find for quick Caribbean food.

We had the Jerk Chicken with rice and beans, plantains and cabbage. It was spicy but not too spicy. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and played interesting music that we never heard before. We've been wanting to try this place and we're glad we did. It was really good with the right amount of heat. We will definitely come back. read more

You were in the mood for some authentic Caribbean food, this is the place to go. It's got a bit of a hole in the wall vibe, but everything is clean on the inside and the staff is extremely friendly. I have the curry goat lunch, it was fantastic cabbage and rice and peas came with it were also great. Well I tried their chicken, and also give it a very positive review. Good looking for something different than your typical fast food, Mexican food, or sushi, this is a great alternative. read more

Food was delicious and fresh. The dishes were authentic. The wait staff was prompt and professional.

The only vegan option was the red bean stew. After I ordered I was told that both of the rice side options have butter in them. Was disappointed because I was expecting a meal at that price but couldn't even eat the rice. This place isnt fully vegan friendly read more

I was greeted upon entry. That's always a plus! My visit was about ten minutes. I went at lunch shortly after they opened. I ordered two small jerk chicken plates. It came with rice and peas, plantain, and cabbage. The jerk chicken was delicious. The rice did note have the usual coconut flavor but it was still delicious. I definitely recommend and would go back to try other dishes. read more

I got the brown stew chicken with rice & peas plantains and mac and cheese and it was so delicious! I usually don't like Caribbean Mac so I was a bit hesitant at first but I'm so glad I tried it. It was very flavorful and so was the rest of the food! Definitely will be back! read more

My mom ordered take-out from here. She called it in and the food was ready when they said it's be ready. Between the family we had jerk chicken, oxtails, beef patty, and Mac and cheese. I sampled the jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. The sauce with the jerk was great! It was a sweet spicy jerk sauce. While the sauce was good the chicken was dry, like it was severely reheated before we picked it up. I had to watch what pieces I have my younger child as it could've been a choking hazard. We also asked for oxtail gravy on the rice which was yummy. The cabbage was ok, not that flavorful. I did not try the other things but the feedback was: oxtails ok, not extra fatty like some places, beef patty was good with a touch of spiciness, Mac and cheese was good if not a little sweet. Overall, when I'm visiting my mom I wouldn't mind stopping by here again, but earlier in the day and maybe the chicken won't be so dry. read more

The food is delicious. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly! I ordered the vegan stew and it was very tasty. Even though I requested for it not to be spicy it was delicious and with plenty of vegetables. A very colorful dish. Very similar to my Cuban good except we don't put curry in our food. Rice, red beans, carrots, green peppers, onions, dumplings and fried plantains. I recommend this restaurant. Mirtha read more

Glad the jerk chicken. It was delicious. Staff was friendly and kind. In the hour I was there, a steady line of people came in and placed orders. It's a popular place. Will come again! read more

I've never really eaten any Caribbean food, except for plantains, so I had no idea what to expect. Knowing that jerk chicken is spicy, my fear would be that it would be too hot for me. I don't even like medium salsa! As I was driving by with time to kill before a meeting, I decided to stop and give it a try. I got the curried goat. I was expecting a gamier taste, like lamb, but it had nothing to distinguish it from beef. It was a tiny bit spicier than I would usually eat but the rice cut the heat. I loved the flavor of everything. The plantains were yummy - I'd get an order of those anytime. The cabbage mix was like a warm, vinegar-based slaw. The young man who helped me was very nice. His parents are the owners and the cooks. So nice to support a small, family-owned business. read more

Everything is amazing! From service to the food. Best jerk I have had since I moved. Worth every penny.

I'm new to the Dallas area and have been craving great Jamaican cuisine and we have finally found one. We tried multiple dishes just to ensure this was the real thing. The curry goat had great flavor, the oxtail was very tender, the jerk chicken pasta was spicy with a good slow burn and the mac-n-cheese was seasoned to perfection. By far this was the best Mac-n-cheese I've ever had. read more

Why has this place not BLOWN UP!!! Not only is the food delicious and AUTHENTIC .. but I am huge on cleaning meat before cooking it and they do exactly that. I know that might not be huge for some people, but that is HUGE for me. There is NO other place i would go for Caribbean in the whole state of Georgia lol They have won my vote! Their food is AMAZING! So much food, great price, and full of flavor! The Brown Stew Chicken & Jerk Chicken is !

Fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee everything is on point and has flavor. Real deal ! The portions are generous too!

the customer service was on point. Samples of whatever the chef is back there whipping up as we wait. The first time i went they were completely sold out of jerk chicken so I knew i had to come back . People were showing up just as disappointed as I was. They made up for that today with these oxtails !! My favorite part is the food is Full. of flavor . Not just the meat but the cabbage wasn't the usual bland cabbage served at Jamaican spots but had flavor too! I'm in trouble because this place is two lights from my house but as my two year old fights me over this last oxtail bone we are satisfied to find them ;)!! Oh and try the jerk rice it's sooooo good!!! read more

Good food , decent prices. I was kind of scared to try a new West Indian place as I have not found many in the area that taste authentic but this places does the trick . Food is good . I think it's more for carry out , but the service is fast / I waited about 4-5 minutes once I ordered . I loved the food no problem with it at all but the my guest thought it was particularly spicy . I did not find it spicy at all . I will be visiting again . read more
