Caribe Marina is a treasure trove of fun, it's Nestled along the pristine coastal paradise of Orange Beach, AL, a hub for boating enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. We had the best time here! It was probably my favorite day of our vacation. We spent hours here. We came for the dolphin cruise which was great. We saw tons of dolphins and our captain was super nice. We then decided to rent a jet ski. We hadn't made reservations but they worked us in for the 1hr rental. It was so much fun! We had a great time cruising at our own pace, sometimes very quickly. We saw tons of marine critters out in the pass. We then spent a couple hrs swimming under the bridge. The kids loved the hermit crabs everywhere and enjoyed jumping off the bridge pilings. There is a small store where you can purchase snacks and beach needs. The staff were super nice and accommodating. We're going to make sure to stay closer on our next vacay. I need at least two days here next round. read more

Was informed that the only charter that kids fish free on is the 4 hour catch and release that hasn't gone out in 2 months and in order for my 3 year old to come out and watch I would have to pay full ticket for him. The girl behind the counter took my number and said she would have some one contact me. Never got a call. I messaged Chris via Yelp and he was very curtious but stated yes they my 3 year old would have to purchase a ticket and that it states 4-12 year olds when you purchase tickets is so that they can explain the hazards of taking young children deep sea fishing. The deckmate, Olivia, was very good with all the kids on the boat and very knowledgeable of the marine life in the bayous/coves you will be traveling. Make sure to bring a little cash to tip them with. You'll wish you had afterwards. They were very good. I highly recommend this trip. read more

We took the Dolphin Cruise aboard the Caribe Cruiser. The Captain and Deckhand were nice, I just didn't think the cruise was worth the money. We left the marina and saw a few dolphins in the harbor. We cruised out into the water a little bit farther and saw a few more. They were swimming but not jumping or anything exciting. A group of people on the tour got up and stood in front of us in an area that was clearly marked as an area for embarkation and debarkation. The sign said area was off limits when the vessel was in operation. This was not enforced and because of this, our sight was limited. The majority of the time was just a ride on a pontoon boat. I wouldn't waste my money to do it again. read more

Rented four jet skis for roughly $95/jet ski for one hour. We were warned that returning the jet skis late would subject us to a hefty late fee for every minute. Okay no problem. After having to burn 10 minutes in a no wake zone we finally made it out to open water and could enjoy the jet skis. After about 15 minutes one of the jet skis began to alarm because it was low on fuel. It was returned to the dock and yes, it was out of fuel. The guys apologized and said that the ski could be used for a few more minutes after being refueled. Really? I'm with a group of friends and I had to return after 30 minutes because you morons didn't fuel it? I can then go out by myself? How about this? I'll contact VISA and let them get me a partial credit. These people suck. read more

Staying in Gulf Shoals for the holidays. This company is great! The booking service was horrible. I went on line and booked through Tripshock for 3:30 Sunset tour. Great price!!! I received the email confirmation and it reflected a departure at 1:30. I called Tripshock to discuss situation and the female told me that I had to call the tour company direct. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE! I called the number for Caribe directly and got Chris who knew what real CUSTOMER SERVICE was! He corrected it immediately. It was an additional $3 per person. No big deal. We had a wonderful 90 minute cruise observing dolphins with the crew and lots of information and education. My advice, call Caribe direct for multiple selections of water activities! read more

Wow! Super fun, super organized, really professionally run organization. We were here over the Thanksgiving holiday and rented wave runners for an hour. The staff was very professional and had us watch a short informational video about operating the wave runners and basic boating rules of the road. Then they fit us all with life jackets and got us out on the water. The wave runners were excellent! One group had trouble staying upright and eventually had to be rescued by the dock guys because the driver lost his glasses in the water and couldn't see the dock. The other two groups stayed out in the water and had a FABULOUS time. I'd come back here any time! What a great group of people to deal with! read more

We came here twice. Once to rent a cat boat and once for a wave runner. Had a blast both times. While out on the cat boat we had 3 dolphins come within about 4 feet of us. It was very cool. The staff on the dock was awesome and we had very good water crafts with no issues. Highly recommended. The prices were great, too. read more

We went parasailing here, which was very fun, but not worth the price we paid. For $55 a person and $35 for pictures, we were crammed onto a small boat with other people and barely enough room to sit. There were 13 other people, making it 15 of us total on the boat. The crewmen were very nice and humorous but out of the hour we spent on the water, only 5 minutes if it was spent actually parasailing. The rest of the time was spent waiting on everyone to get their one turn on the parasail. Another thing I noticed was the many sign that we're up saying to tip the crewmen. It said the crewmen work for tips and to be sure to tip them 15-20%. Our one boatload made them almost $1000 and they still want us to give them more money. The 5 minutes of parasailing was nice but it was not worth the price. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We called to book a dolphin cruise and were told we could split the amount of the cruise we booked for 2 families when we arrived at the Marina. When we arrived, their computers were running extremely slow and would not load for us to pay as we were standing in the hot sun. Then we were told to arrive 30 minutes prior to the cruise, which we did. Everyone was loaded on the boat and we waited 20 minutes past the time to take off for a late family to arrive after we were told we were going without them in 90 seconds. Once we got out, we spotted 0 dolphins in the water until 35 minutes in. No one narrated or said anything for the first 45 mins of our cruise. The 2 dolphins we saw were following a shrimp boats bait which they did not get out of the water often for us to see. After about 5 mins of following the boat and only seeing them out of the water about 3 times, the driver said "Sorry, time to go in." We were shocked. We left 20 mins late, saw 2 dolphins for less than 5 minutes, and headed back into the marina 5 mins early. So our 1hr 30 minute cruise turned into an hour. Lastly, they accept tips for good service (signs and mentioned it on the boat). We were offered the complimentary water towards the end of the cruise. She used the binoculars for about the 5 minutes and then sat on her phone the last 20 minutes back into the marina. If you want to spend $120 on a dolphin cruise, do not choose this one. Four of us did the walk on deep sea fishing trip yesterday from 8am-2pm. We had so much fun! It was worth the $80 per person. We caught so many fish. The crew was helpful and friendly. 1st off I never give bad reviews. During our vacation, we booked a 4 hour boat rental for this afternoon. 9 of us. Packed the cooler. Made lunches for the kids. Collected everything we need. Walked up to the office, and wouldn't you know they didn't have the reservation. We called on Friday August 14th and confirmed for Sunday August 16th. Well, when we got there, they could not find the reservation until they searched by name and figured they had booked us for September 20th! An obvious mistake they owned and apologized for. While communicating the employee would be written up, they failed to do anything to solve for the situation other than "call us if a boat comes in early." What about the folks that booked AFTER us? Honestly don't know what would solve for the mistake, but literally scheduling an appointment IS their business. An error such as this with zero solution for the mistake is sloppy at best and disingenuous at worst. Make sure you have them repeat the date should you book here! read more

First time ever on a catboat with a friend and what an amazing trip. We were a little intimidated having never driven a boat of any kind but after instructions ..we were on our way in the guided tour with our guide, Chris. We anticipated seeing at least a couple of dolphins, but after a short portion of our trip.. Chris spotted several pods of dolphins... He said more than he had ever seen in one place.. I have video footage of at least nine in one shot. It was such an experience being up close and to have them within a foot of being touched.. As the catboats sit close on the water it was surreal to experience these beautiful creatures. We were able to observe them for at least thirty minutes as they swam around us and under us. I highly recommend the guided tour.. Chris was professional, patient, and communicative. My friend and I are in our sixties and love adventure.. this one delivered! Will be back next trip, as this was our first visit to this area.. read more
