The steak that was prepared well done was impeccable and well worth the wait. The drinks were refreshing. I don't worry about them being boring. The bartender looked well versed in his craft. Our server was new, and definitely recommended great appetizers to pair with our entrees. Only thing I wish of the place is that they took the full amount of the tab. It had to be split into 5 different payments for our bill.

Their wifi didn't connect and the bathroom was across the way, outside of the building. I placed my food order but my drink order wasn't taken. I asked the chef owner for water and he said the server would get it, which was his wife but they were both too busy sitting at other people's table and chatting it up while I'm over her parched for water for 15 minutes! WTF! I can't even get some water in this hot muggy crappy place? I ordered a pie because I was starving bc I guess this Italian place doesn't give bread. I had to get up and order it and my water with the other chef that was standing around bc no one was helping me get anything. Ordered the most horrendous clam pasta I have ever had with extra bitter and old arugula on top. Nothing about this place was palatable. The service sucked. Didn't realize this clam pasta was not coming with linguine but instead penne with some thick tasteless cheese sauce. This was definitely easily that worst restaurant I've eaten on the island. I should have left as soon as I knew I wasn't going to get water right away

We made reservations before we arrived, although they really weren't necessary--but how were we to know? We were seated at a lovely table overlooking the marina, and once the sun went down, the twinkling lights reflecting on the water created a beautiful atmosphere. There was also a wonderful breeze, which was such a pleasant surprise for July. We expected it to be much hotter! I ordered the surf and turf with my choice of three different steaks and selected the ribeye with a half lobster tail. The ribeye was enormous, cooked perfectly, and seasoned so well that every bite was bursting with flavor. The lobster tail was tender and delicious. The portion was so generous that I ended up sharing my steak with my husband! The rice and peas were so good that he kept scooping them onto his plate--and he's definitely not a rice-and-peas kind of guy! He's usually a mashed potato guy...as you can tell from his own plate! It was hands down some of the best I've had in a very long time. The crispy tostones were the perfect compliment . He ordered the Grouper topped with lobster sauce, and really enjoyed it. His side choice was mashed potatoes and vegetables. I had a bite and concur the group. It was very moist and the sauce. It was just delicious. I had peaked at the menu prior to arriving and that's what I had every intention of ordering but then when I saw the surf and turf I was like, hey why not let's celebrate at $66 I didn't think it was much of an issue As a really nice surprise and great gesture, a molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream was delivered to us with happy anniversary wishes on the house. We've been visiting the island for over 25 years, often several times a year, and somehow this was our first visit to this restaurant. It definitely won't be our last. Highly recommended!

As I stated before the waiters and servers were top notch. With that said, the kitchen was the issue. My wife ordered a lobster bisque or should I say a soup. To add insult to injury, there was literally one chunk of lobster that was almost half inch in size. The family did enjoy the bread, but the main meals had several misses that caused this restaurant to be a two star. I will start with my wife who had the lasagna. She said it was really good and could have been a dish from Italy (We were there last December). My daughter had the gnocchi and a side of meatballs. She stated the gnocchi was bland, but the meatballs were good. My son, started as a couple failures. First he ordered a beef tenderloin fillet. After being told that they were out he ordered the New York strip medium rare. When the food finally made it to the table it was rare. After sending it back the second one was cooked better. However the steak you could taste the rosemary, but was still no salt. Once adding salt to the steak it tasted good. He ordered a side of pasta which he really enjoyed. Finally, my order, I ordered the whole lobster. To start, the size of this lobster for $79 was a joke and if the lobster was good, I would have felt better! Not having a Caribbean Lobster before I was not sure how it was supposed to be and I wished I would have asked when I took my first bite. The lobster was supposed to be a grilled item. I was so looking forward to this lobster to be TOTALLY disappointed! The lobster was actually over cooked. I only found out after I was leaving because I asked how the consistency was supposed to be. If you only care about scenery and pasta this is the place for you! Anything else, there are a lot of options in the area to choose from.
