Clearly damaged my vehicle and would not take responsibility for it. In this car wash, you ride through in your vehicle. While going through the wash, I heard a loud banging on the right side, and the spinning apparatus was knocking against my truck, but no attendant stopped anything. After the wash, I noticed that the right side of my truck had dents all at the same height for the whole length of the truck. I brought this to their attention and they just denied it, saying that this could have been pre-existing damage. I told them to run it back through then and watch it happen again. They wouldn't allow me to send the truck back through, saying that now they wouldn't be able to tell if any damage was new or if it was the pre-existing damage. I explained to them that they would be able to see the piece hitting the truck, but they refused. Clearly they knew they damaged my truck and were just looking for an excuse not to take responsibility for it. I ended up fixing the truck with a Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) guy for $900 and had to pay out of my pocket.
If you drive a wide vehicle, beware. What happens is that the track that guides the vehicle through is on the left side, so your left side tires are in there. Logically then, if you have a wider wheelbase than most, your right side gets too close to the spinning apparatus on the right side. I drive a lifted Super Duty that has wide tires and wheels, so the right side of my truck got destroyed. Knowing how their car wash is designed, you would think that the car wash employees would turn away vehicles that are obviously wider than most, knowing that they will likely be damaged, but no. They just bring them in, damage them, take their money, and deny they caused the damage.
