They were extremely knowledgeable about every area we traveled through, sharing history, tips, and local insights that made the trip feel special and personal. We knew we wanted to take an excursion from St. John and luckily, our resort (Ritz Carlton Club) was able to find us the perfect trip with Chris. We departed our hotel (with our own drinks and snacks), coolers, towels, diving/snorkel gear were provided. Chris also coordinated going through customs at British Virgin Islands, our first stop were the Baths. It was an amazing ride with the beautiful waters, scenic shorelines, and awesome captain. Chris is not only a skilled captain but a great tour guide having grown up and spending a lot of time in this region. He pointed out the top beaches and a lot of other landmarks along the way. We spent time navigating through the Baths (I suggest water shoes as the ground was fairly hot and some of the rocks, nooks, and tunnels you have to go through are pretty challenging for the some of us. We touched many of the other islands like Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and had lunch at the Soggy Dollar with Chris. Chris is personable, professional, and has a 'good seaside manner'--very skilled at the helm. Loved this trip, Chris and Local Legend made it one of our most memorable travels.

I cannot say enough about our Captain Dusty. He was incredible! He took us to the Baths, Willy T and the Indians. Jumped off the top of Willy T for hours and that Crispy Chicken sandwich was amazing! Great snorkeling, great lunch and Captain's good company. Dusty kept our two 12 YO boys happy by speeding over the waves and lifting them off their seats. He also let them experience actually driving the boat all the way down the channel (under his supervision of course). Made both of them feel like they were the Captains for the day. We have chartered boats all over the Virgin Islands and we have never experienced such a unique blend of professionalism, courtesy and sincere desire to make your day on the water the best day ever. While sightseeing was fun and the general island vibe was noteworthy, the most memorable part of my experience was all thanks to Good Day Charters. The Captain and his crew were very knowledgeable and entertaining. They really cater to what you want to get out of the trip. I was a snorkeling "virgin" and Dusty was very patient helping me to figure out how to get everything on correctly and even gave me some pointers on how to swim deeper and see all the fascinating wildlife underwater. The staff was great at navigating the waters and getting us up close to the action... and keeping us fed and hydrated when we weren't floating with the fishies. Our tour guides were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and fun as well. This was incredible because we saw snapper, tarpon, rays, and green turtles. Illuminated Night Kayak from Marriott Frenchman's Cove Dock, US Virgin Islands…read more April 8, 2022 I purchased the kayak tour. It's sounded exciting. The place is behind the Marriott hotel. What happens here: We got in to the kayak, and tarted to pedal out to the dark water. Only light we had is from the bottom of our boat and some from the Marriott resort. Basically we were chasing a fish I never seen, then a few turtles. The most important thing was for me in this event is the experience of night light kayak. It was a little bit stressful because everybody was scared to bang the kayaks. We had to be close to es higher because more lights attract more fishes. And there was a couple who thought they always right. They were going across everyone toward to the group leader and they believed they were going straight. Anyway all the pretty fishes sleeping at night and they was one type who doesn't. A small fish jumped in Someone's boat. Make sure you select night kayak.com with he clear boats as it will make a big difference. because of the little light pollution, clear boats and the led lights, and the neon glow sticks they give you (complimentary) we actually got to see a lot! We saw plenty of sting rays, lots of tarpin, a school of fish, and 1 sea turtle. The water was super calm, and because of it we glided through the water very easily. You will be on the water for a solid hour, sight seeing, and at the same time getting a nice history of the island from some great tour guides. Our guides were Curtis and Denning. Very charismatic guys, a fun vibe, and were very attentive to all the guests to ensure everyone was having a good time and being safe. I loved the insight and history about the island. One hour and 20 minutes was just long enough and would definitely recommend.

We booked the Turtle Bay Sail & Snorkel Adventure in St. Thomas through our cruise and were very…read moredisappointed with our experience on Castaway Girl 4. The biggest issue was the lack of organization from the start. We spent close to an hour waiting between multiple lines--first in the sun to exchange tickets, then again to hand off a second ticket. It felt unnecessarily complicated and poorly managed. Because of the delays, the boat traveled very fast to make up time. The water was choppy, and several guests became seasick on the way to the snorkeling site. There were also multiple issues with communication and expectations. We were not informed in advance that full-face snorkel masks were not allowed, which would have impacted our decision to book. The equipment provided did not feel clean, and we were told there were not enough flippers or beverages for everyone. The excursion description advertised rum punch, soft drinks, and snacks, but no snacks were provided. The rum punch was also very poor quality, and most guests declined more. While the snorkeling location at Buck Island was beautiful and the water was calm, the actual experience in the water was lacking. The guide quickly swam off and was not visible to the group, leaving guests without direction. Our time snorkeling felt short--around an hour. The return trip was slower and more comfortable, which we appreciated. However, overall this was the least enjoyable snorkeling excursion we have experienced. We would not choose this company again and would recommend others consider alternative options.
