Cargiant is a very demanding place to work and depending on department you don't get much time off. A day's shift is normally 12 hours long with hour and 30 minutes break in total. the latest you can have your lunch break is 4pm even if you are working until 10pm. The pay is good depending on department you are working in and management is fairly supportive. Currently working for:- https://rentalcarsuae.com/ read more

I had a very bad expercience purchasing a car from Car Giant back in 2024 they are only intrested in sales and flogging add ons which are worthless. The car had issues and report was furnished but car giant would not agree to it they kept my car for 6 days then allege nothing was wrong they think we are fools !! Even my 13 year son picks up well on the issues Car Giant is a good con artist with its pushy staff who do not give a toss all reviews say's it all very shocking I feel this place needs to be shut down soon or later . They threathend me if I do not collect my car they would impose storage charges then park on double yellow lines next was drop my car you can see how these thughs operate I feel someone shoild monitor them before its too late !!@ But I have not finished yet watch the space car giant read more

Bought a 3008 as a mobility car for my disabled family, broke down despite being under warranty (they only offer 6 months) we'd had it for 4 months. Car giant said it would be covered, they're wrangling out of it. So having to take them to court as they've shafted us with £16,000 finance and a car that they won't repair despite doing less than 4000 miles. Avoid these con artists ripping you off to make a sales commission on broken motors and not repairing them despite all the promises that they will. The garage they recommend us go to quoted 2-3K for the repair which CarGiant has refused to do due to price. Nice broken car and 5 years of finance! Avoid like the plague, Your family & pocket will thank you for it. read more

They raised the price of a car by 500 pounds after I agreed to buy it, while I was waiting to sign the contract in the office. Only realised after they emailed me my copy of the contract. Sent them a photo of the listing price on their own website which I took a time stamped screen shot of after agreeing to buy the car. No compensation. Not even an apology. Refused to refund the deposit. No response a week later from their complaints team. Most dodgy sales practice I've ever come across. read more

Good range of cars. Decent prices and you know you get a good car from them for the premium.

Buying a car is a very smooth process, but expect cars with issues, huge delays in dealing with the warranty, broken promises and a very unprofessional after sales staff. They advertise that their cars go through a 200 point inspection but that's hard to believe as both cars I've purchased in a month had issues. Complaining will be counterproductive as they slow down the service for those who do. Staff will never apologize or try to offer a solution and will always try to convince you how awesome they are despite the evidence telling otherwise. DO NOT BUY FROM CAR GIANT, but if you do take the car for a thorough test drive and get everything in writing. read more

Don't touch them with a barge pole, the car I went to view had been damaged and resprayed, badly, over spay was clearly visible. It had 2 months MOT left on it had 4 odd tyres. I was told they would knock £30 off the screen price to cover me getting the MOT done myself. As I was paying cash they wanted another £199 admin fee as I wasn't taking credit out. FALSE ADVERTISING. When I complained the manager said he would put 4 matching part worn tyres on but it would take over 2 hrs to get this done. He also said they did not paint cars even though there is a site plan with PAINT SHOP clearly marked on it. They lie just to get your money, I wouldn't buy a car off someone I don't trust, especially off someone who is caught lying. If you are looking for a car at the right money heed my warning and go else were. read more
Imagine IKEA only if it was designed by idiots and operated by absolute numpties and that gives you an idea of what the car buying experience is like at Car Giant. Waiting interminably for the salespeople to help me, I felt like K from the Castle, waiting for an immovable and uncaring bureaucracy. I am there to spend many thousands of pounds and they treated me like an unwanted refugee. The reason they exist is that they do have good prices on their inventory. Just be prepared to pay the cost in time and general misery to take advantage is that. I guess you could say that I would not recommend Car Giant. read more
Cargiant is nothing like I imagined it would be... but I had a very overactive imagination as an 8 year-old driving past every weekend. Where are the giant turntables showcasing the cars that people selected? Where are the conveyor belts bringing cars to you while you sit on a sofa and have a cup of tea? I guess this is why we all resort to Internet shopping! Crazy imaginations aside, Cargiant stocks over 5000 cars! I have never seen so many cars in one place in my life! It's very well organised by manufacturers and they have a map at the entrance to help you along. If you have a set budget in mind, then you might want to check their website before you go (which we didn't) as they seem to be more expensive than other dealers (but they definitely have variety of 2nd hand cars). We didn't get anything because all the cars (apart from 6 or so) were outside of our budget - crazy! It's also not a very easy place to get to if you don't have a car! (Imagine that, people without a car, wanting to buy a car... the audacity of it!) The closest tube station is Willesdon Junction, and then it's about a 15 minute walk to the showroom. Overall, it's a good place to go to browse for a good car. They all seem to be in pretty good condition, at least from the outside (I didn't actually test drive any of the cars). I would definitely recommend looking on the website first if you have something specific in mind. read more
Buying a car at Cargiant after all was a very good experience. To me the transparency (You See What You'll Get and You Get What You Pay), the huge number of cars on offer (all brands, types, makes) and the sales process and staff have made buying a car easy and without the hassle I expect in this business. Prices are fixed and there is no negotiating. This actually takes out a lot of the usual hassle. The cars are presented by brand and by type, so it is really easy to compare all these. This is much easier than if for example you have to go to different brand specific car dealers. You can easily ask the staff on the spot for a demo drive with your preferred car (or more than one if you like). This is quite a short ride around the block but at least it is possible to get the feeling of the driving car. Almost all cars are parked outside on the huge terrain so they will get cleaned (again) after you buy it. You don't need the extra polishing they offer. The car will be delivered shiny :-) The only 'negative' part of my experience is the final chat with one of their sales consultants. After you have selected Your Car you will have to go through a commercial sales phase in which they will try to cross-sell stuff that you actually really don't need. And this stuff could really cost you A LOT OF MONEY. I was prepared for this and I did not really mind but you have to be prepared, you have to be strong to resist and very clear in your communication that you don't want the extra stuff they offer. Please be aware that this is very sophisticated well trained push selling of extra insurance, extra shiny nano technology polish, and what not and they do it in the heat of the moment where you just have decided to spend a whole lot of money anyway. This is where they make easy money from unprepared consumers without any knowledge. All the stuff they offer you can later get it for yourself (but you will probably don't want it anyway) for a better price (do check the stories about the polishing offered on the web if you still hesitate and you feel convinced you need the super-nano-extremely expensive stuff) I have visited the Cargiant compound a few times. It is not very difficult to find and even with public transport (because if you don't have a car, how would you get there) it was not too difficult to get there. The first visit was really just to check the place out and to see what they have on offer. This is enormous, kind of overwhelming, great to be able to see all the different brands and types next to each other. The second time I was more focussed, I had done a little homework and I was able to focus on a specific segment, specific brands and types. I did a demo drive with the one car I really liked and I bought it, right there. Except the sales chat described above, everything was well prepared and well organised. The third time I was to pay and pick up the car. This again was very well organised, smooth, efficient, friendly, no hassle at all. The car was waiting for me and it was shiny as a mirror (without the extra-nano-super-polish). After all I had a very good experience, I would recommend Cargiant to others and come back again. As with any big purchases you have to take some time, do some homework to be able to make a good choice and prepare yourself for some commercial talks. Good luck and don't forget buying a car should be fun as well! read more

A great place to buy second-hand cars that are in good condition. The prices listed are non-negotiable, put you always pay a £91 admin fee. We bought a MINI Cooper this weekend and thought the staff were friendly and reasonably helpful. The only real drawback was the pushy sales patter at the very end when it comes to negotiating your way out of buying their Warranty Insurance and Gap Cover (they'll explain!) I got to a point where i was almost saying no to everything he tried to sell me just because they'd pushed me too hard. The car price was non-negotiable so this at least avoids getting you into a haggling situation. Overall, I felt that this was a safe place to buy a second-hand car and that the professionalism of the staff made the whole car buying experience less stressful. Well done Car Giant. read more

Would you buy a car from here? I personally wouldn't The staff are all robotic with hardly any knowledge of cars. They are told to learn scrip's which makes them all give the same replies to questions you ask. The staff have individual targets and if not met have a review and the company comes down hard on them. They really don't give a crap about customers there just numbers and want to flog dodgy cars to meet there targets. The reason I say dodgy is upon closely looking at cars I can see allot of cars have had previous unrecorded damage as I have seen cars with a complete respray on one side done badly, car panels not aligned properly, incorrect tyres on cars or tyres with just about meeting the legal requirement, beak pads so thin that will require changing in under 100 miles, guaranteed to see many imperfections upon looking at the car closely, they wont tell you anything bad about the car and don't even offer a test drive but offer a demo drive which is like a few minutes drive so can't even drive in all gears as it's a small side streets only. They also want to sell you guard x and all the other crap to make more commission as the staff get more commission selling all these other extras and less on the cars. Guard x is a total waste of money it doesn't do what it says on the tin. This is how they will speak to you....."So what do you think of the car Dave? Do you like it Dave? Where are you from Dave? Where do you live Dave? Yeah it's nice isn't it Dave? Are you going to put a deposit down Dave?" They will sell you a ticking time bomb with no qualms about reneging on their point of sale overtures. Example: Vehicle 5% oil level light would illuminate after 2 weeks, took vehicle to Vauxhall who found a failed drive shaft seal, and melted glove box lamp cover for one customer. If after you buy the car and got RAC to inspect it your guaranteed to have faults. Once you have bought the car that's it if you come back and complain they won't want to know. read more

Cargiant make buying a car a pleasant process. You can browse around hundreds of cars, sectioned according to their make, to find what you're looking for. Once you find a car you like, assistants are easy to come by and will give you the keys so you can have a proper look around the car at your own pace. For a quote for part exchange, you simply drive over to the part exchange centre where someone has a quick look and makes an offer. All offers and car prices are final and Cargiant has a strict no-haggling policy which makes the process quick and easy. If you're planning on leaving with your new car on the same day, allow about three hours for the pre-sale check that Cargiant will do on your new car. read more

Car Giant is MASSIVE! They certainly have named it to perfection! The place is huge. Located just off the M25 at White City, right next to the new Westfield Shopping Centre. Car Giant is sectioned off into areas, small vehicles, medium vehicles, people carriers, 44's, sports cars etc. It is extremely well organised and a pleasure to wander round. The staff are so helpful and friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure your visit is enjoyable even if you are there just for an idea of a new car and not buying. I have also purchased through Car Giant and everything is so smooth and easy. read more

I have just bought a car from Car Giant (Ford Mondeo) and am very pleased with it. I had not heard of them before and was almost over whelmed at the sheer size of the place and the range of cars on hand. I had done a fair bit of research prior to going there and had some specific cars I wanted to view which I think helps, if you just turn up without any idea of what you are looking for, the choice could be daunting. In contrast to another review posted I found their prices for the cars I looked at to be £1000 - £1500 cheaper than I could source through dealers locally. The whole process from viewing, to purchase and finally collection was well managed and all the staff were very polite, helpful and attentive. As with any car sales you are offered extra's when making the purchase but I found they were not too pushy and excepted it if you did not want the added warranty, body protection coating, finance or insurance. If you only want the car you can get it without too much hassle. The only thing stopping me giving the five stars and something to look out for are the condition of the tyres. A number of the cars I looked at had a mix of tyres and makes in various states of wear. My car had the same (original tyres) on the rear but had second hand ones on the front, one of which is only just legal. Their stance is that all cars have legal and safe tyres and if they do have to change tyres before selling a car they never put brand new one's on. Because of the time of year, the mileage I will be doing and the fact I do not know any history for the used tyres I am having them replaced at my own cost as car Giant would not contribute. That said even after paying £200 for two tyres I will still have saved around £1200 on buying locally and I have a very nice low mileage car in very good all round condition. Give them a go, you will find it hard to beat the selection and if something you like sells before you get there which happened to me, they get new stock in all the time. You will save money, just check those tyres out. read more

BEWARE: We have just endured a very poor experience with Cargiant. We went to view a Nissan Qashqai, which at £9k, seemed like a decent deal. We were told all Cargiants vehicles undergo a proper internal examination. Although nervous about handing over the £200 deposit, I did it, and arranged for a test drive. We drove the Qashqai around the block, but it didn't feel right. We could hear an audible grating noise as the car idled. The noise got even louder as the car was driven around the corner. The car was clearly not fit for re-sale. However, on pointing out this rather obvious issue to Cargiant, we were emphatically told we were not getting our £200 back. Their intransigence regarding our deposit is extraordinary. Cargiant is a slick used car operation where the sales rhetoric is hollow and the motors on sale are decidedly dodgy. read more

WARNING TO ALL CAR GIANT BUYERS. Looked at a Mercedes B180 Ref. LM14A which was advertised as £13799. I viewed it late in the evening and wanted to see it the next morning be sure it was the right car to purchase for my parents. I arranged a time with the sales agent Usman C. for the following morning @ 10.30am to view the vehicle and to potentially purchase. I arrived on time following morning to discover that they put the price up by £1000!!!!! to £14799 their excuse they incorrectly priced the car originally. Manager Dale offered me a £100 discount for the trouble caused but maintained the increase!! Its not CAR GIANT its called CAR SHARK. DO NOT TRUST AT ALL. If they can lie at the beginning of the sale there is no telling what hidden lies there are beneath the bonnet of your potential car your going to buy from them! read more

Where do I start: DO NOT USE, these are first class blaggers - and will sell you a ticking time bomb with no qualms about reneging on their point of sale overtures. Example: Vehicle 5% oil level light would illuminate after 2 weeks, took vehicle to Vauxhall who found a failed drive shaft seal, and melted glove box lamp cover. Vauxhall would replace the aforesaid parts, and service the vehicle. Transpired vehicle was '3000' miles over its 20k main service schedule. Car Giant now claim they "do not service vehicle prior to sale unless appropriate payment is made" - irrespective of selling a technically not roadworthy vehicle - and without offering this very same claim when you're making your buying decision, notably when you'd tell them where to stick their car!! Vehicle was also sold with failed tyres (discovered as deemed failed by Car Giant's own pre site inspection) - Car Giant claim the tyres were replaced, notably in their letters, and subsequently under court conditions - blatant liars playing for the cameras at this point - as Car Giant would know the tyres WERE NOT replaced - leaving customer to foot the replacement cost. Car Giant now asserts: "they are not at liberty" to provide the Invoices for the tyres (which didn't exist)! After 3 weeks, a small crack was noticed on the vehicle windscreen. Transpired the vehicle windscreen was also deemed failed (again, noted on their own so called pre site inspection) but clearly wasn't attended, or even advised upfront at point of sale. Car Giant subsequently avoids the topic in their correspondence claiming the "vehicle was viewed prior to sale". Also, after 4 weeks of driving, vehicle driving irregularities noticed, having taken the vehicle to be checked it was found the vehicle had a suspected 'bent sub frame' which was also kept quiet/not checked by Car Giant - even though their pre site inspection stated 'uneven tyre wear'! Having taken a computerised wheel alignment result to Car Giant with the mechanics comment with respect to the suspected bent sub frame issue - Car Giant would initially DENY they received the correspondence, then state to Trading Standards there is 'no evidence' of a bent sub frame, and then refuse to respond to a request for a mechanical expert's report to verify their (insidious) claims. The appearance and finish didn't match the vehicle they originally advertised, and Car Giant will happily let you travel 100 miles to find this fact out - notably, significant impact damage to the underside sill of the vehicle, (lo and behold), consistent with the suspected bent sub frame - also significant scrapes/grazes on side panels, and bumper! Car Giant would pre-emptively blame the customers "buyers" for the discovered damage, at point of sale - but not only would the car not move 'advertised mileage' same a 'purchase mileage', but Car Giant would since slip up and state the vehicle was acquired from the previous owner WITH this damage - which begs the question why wasn't this significant damage made clear on the original advertisement? Or discernable by the original sale price? Or visible on the vehicle photos they would present on their website, or the website of a popular national vehicle trading website (who I won't mention their name - as would be insult to them)? At point of sale Car Giant would state they have pre-emptively taken £400.00 off the car to cover the cost of (then claimed recently discovered) exterior damage - further to having a specialist cost up the repair. However, in reality upon my subsequently taking the vehicle to a specialist it was found the total bodywork damage will cost just under £1.8k to rectify - I returned to Car Giant who since advised "Car Giant do not look to bring their vehicle up to a new condition" - obfuscating the ensuing £1.4k liability/shortfall - and blatantly reneging on the point of sale negotiations. Car Giant claim they do a Multipoint Inspection - and have presented a Multipoint claiming it was for my vehicle, (after 14 months) - having seen this questionable multipoint submission, and in light of the documented failures - all I can say is WOW. And all this comes straight from the top - the Customer Service Manager(s)! In short; Save yourself the time, money, headache, and get yourself the roadworthy car you deserve by shopping elsewhere. If you ignore these words and try your luck GET ANYTHING AGREED WRITTEN DOWN before committing with your cash - ensure you put your tyre kicking hat on with respect to the car - they will prey on you otherwise; and you better hope the car is a good car with no inherent problems!! Don't say you weren't warned! See you in court Car Giant. read more

Avoid buying a car here at all costs! Came here to treat myself to a new car but have had headache with my car since i left with it. Engine light came on a week later on and off continuously. Was told to take it to halfords in park royal which took me 3 hrs there and back only to be told when i got there they could not check it as engine light was off when i got there. Engine light came on the next day again so rang car giant and explained that halfords was too far for me to go back to again so they advised me to go to my nearest garage. When i took it there the light had come off again so they to were unable to check the problem. I rang car giant again and they said to take it to Mercedes for a one hour diagnostics which they would pay for which i did. I took my 5 year old daughter with me as i was told it would only take 1 hour. we were there for 5 and a half hours only to be told that the car would need to come back to them to be kept overnight to check it properly. I took it back to Mercedes for them to have overnight and i was without a car. They said there was an issue with the timing chain and car giant did not want to pay Mercedes to fix it so they wanted me to bring the car back to them! I Was given a FILTHY courtesy car which i then had to pay to get cleaned and they said they would re-inberse me. On top of this the battery on the courtesy car died 3 times causing me to drop my children to school late and me having to wave down strangers to help me jump start it! They had my car for two Weeks when they said it should be with them for 1 week and to top it all off i got my car back with new scratches and marks that were not on the car when i gave it to them and i have the paper work to show the marks that were on the car when it was taken! And although the new marks are not on this sheet they take no blame for it what so ever!!!! Awful place and awful customer service! would advise no one to go there and i will definitely not EVER buy a car here again"!!! read more

Great choice, competitively priced, well organised site. Some staff are extremely pleasant. The problem we experienced was hard sell additions like warranty, guardex cleaning and unfair part exchange. Some cars have no spare keys (handbooks/service books this can invalidate any warranty) or spare wheels. Even things like parcel shelves can be missing. They will not tell you all this. Do your own leg work, if you are not prepared to you may be better off buying from a local dealer close to home. Do ask questions get a list together know what you want. When you have left it is too late and you may find that you have purchased things you didn't want nor need and only to find things missing from the car which can be very expensive to replace. I was happy with our new car which had items missing and I have had to find elsewhere. We were informed that our car was to be crushed and had no value and they gave us £150. A week or so later this car was on Auto Trader for £995 and sold very quickly. So this misleading information was something we felt was Misrepresentation. On this basis I will not be going back. read more

I purchased a Mazda CX-3 2018 from CarGiant in November 2022, and it has been nothing but a nightmare since then. After just three months of ownership, the car started experiencing major problems with the DPF, Injectors, and Turbo, rendering it undrivable. I had no choice but to take it to the main Mazda dealer for repairs, which took over a month to complete. During that time, I faced significant inconvenience and even suffered a loss of work due to not having a reliable vehicle. Despite these issues being covered under warranty, CarGiant failed to compensate me for the work loss and the extreme inconvenience I endured during the entire repair process. Unfortunately, my troubles didn't end there. After around eight months, the vehicle developed another problem that the main dealer couldn't even identify after the initial diagnosis. This ongoing issue has caused me further loss of work and valuable time. To make matters worse, CarGiant has been completely unresponsive to my inquiries and has shown a complete lack of responsibility for the faulty vehicle they sold me. I have reached out multiple times seeking a resolution, but they have ignored my concerns and failed to provide any satisfactory solutions. I am utterly disappointed with CarGiant's lack of accountability and the poor customer service I have received throughout this entire ordeal. It is deeply concerning that they are selling vehicles with such inherent issues and then neglecting their customers when problems arise. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from CarGiant to think twice and consider the potential consequences. They have demonstrated a complete disregard for their customers' well-being and failed to stand behind the quality of the vehicles they sell. read more

My experience at Cargiant was awful. I went to buy an automatic car and having sat in a few of the cars for sale, I realised that that I had dropped my new blackberry in one of the cars. A long saga unfolded where some of the car salesman text my phone and received a response. It turned out that the thief was actually a Cargiant employee and his colleagues were pretending to help me whilst they knew who had my phone. Needless to say, the matter was reported to the police. I will never return to Cargiant again. A simply dreadful and traumatic experience. read more

Cargiant its a good Idea. Lots of cars all in one place. Easy way to buy a car. Web site simple to use with lots of pictures of the cars helped a lot. I went to cargiant, test drove the car and bought it in just over 2 1/2 hours. The sales people where helpfull as was every one. Good service and im very happy. read more
