Car fix came highly recommended, which is why I trusted them with my car, but the work performed has been extremely disappointing--well below professional standards. After bringing the car back to their shop three separate times, I have reached my limit. The bumper has fallen off twice after they repaired it, and the body work is visibly poor. I no longer have confidence in the quality or safety of the repairs completed by their team. It is unacceptable to charge customers for work that does not meet even basic expectations. This is an update to my previous review in September 2024 - After my review Ritchie reached out to me apologizing and wanting to "make things right". I chalked it up to my mistake in trusting that this business was honest and a lesson learned, but now I am furious. I ended up paying another shop $200.00 to replace the rotted rubber stripping around my sunroof and then about 2-3 weeks in I noticed bubbling and flaking in the paint on my spoiler and other areas of my car. I know what you are thinking...20 year old car, what do you expect? Well, my car had been painted just a few years earlier and there were no issues other than a small ding in the passenger door. I have no idea what they, Car Fix, did; what they put on my car when they "ceramic waxed" it, but I now have to have it fixed because the clear coat is ruined and the paint underneath is starting to oxidize. I do not take my car to a car wash, I do it myself. Lovingly. I only use high quality car wash by Chemical Guys and do not park it anywhere where it will be exposed to birds, trees, the elements. I've received one estimate so far to fix the spoiler, as that is the worst area at this point. $500.00. So, my advise to you, if you care about your car like I do, DO NOT TAKE IT TO CAR FIX! They will not only take your money. They will ruin your car and cost you more money to fix what they wrecked. read more

I was originally a loyal customer for years, but over time started seeing quite a few cracks in the walls. I just about had it with this business when I had an oil change and requested an estimate on fixing the other issues with my then Honda Fit. I called Richie, who I thought was a good guy up until that point and let him know that I would like a breakdown of all the things included in the price he quoted me. I also mentioned that the mileage meter was never reset after the oil was changed. For whatever reason, he proceeded then yell at me as if he has no time to talk at all and acted irritated with my questions. He then gave me a verbal set of half assed answers and refused to give me an actual breakdown, as requested. After this interaction with Richie, I totally lost respect and I decided that I not be returning. I felt very belittled with how I was spoken to. So, fast forward one year I had a different vehicle that I had into a fairly minor accident with and was seeking a body shop. I just so happened to be walking by this shop again, thus encountering Richie. Stupidly enough, he managed to persuade me to use him and so I gave him one more shot, since I've previously only used the shop for mechanical work and didn't know they did collision repair. He told me that it would take about a week for my car to be ready, and I was spending more than I could on a rental. Several times thereafter, I would call and ask about it would be ready, he would give me another date and it would once again not be ready by then. At the end of the day, It took three weeks until it was done and it cost way more than needed when my rental costs were taken into account. All of this would have been overlooked if the car was in good shape, but the repair itself was half assed! On top of this there was damage done to my car that was previously not there when I had purchased it, which was only recently before the accident and completely unrelated. The car was dirty and there were fuses that went out shortly after leaving the shop in the areas they worked on. The drivers side mirror which was damaged in the accident was shaking all over the place and not staying put and when I examined it closer, the back of it has a crack, so it wasn't even replaced in the first place! Also, all the lights on the drivers side went out, which was also in the area they worked on. Today when I brought it to another shop, they only asked me to tip out the mechanic since the only thing wrong was that the wires/fuses had not been secured in any way and came off. They forgot to do all this, but Richie did not hesitate to remind me I owed him the $50 for the supposed oil change I owed him for like a year ago (even though my car didn't show I ever had one as they didn't make sure to reset any sensors). So yeah, great place! This is the kind of place you MAYBE want to go to one time for minor work, because they will try pretty hard to hook you in with a deal that sounds great, and impress you, but DO NOT GET SUCKED IN, because at the end of the day unless you are an expert and know know exactly how not to get ripped off, this place will make certain that they penny pinch every chance possible, do half assed work any chance they can get get away with it and seriously screw you out of your money! read more

I had two dumb single-car accidents, scraped most of the length of the side of my car and ran into a pole two months later. For the first repair on the body, I got a quote from three body shops and Body Fix was considerably less money than the other two. The finished job was perfect, no evidence at all of the repair. It doesn't even deserve one star. Took car there two times for over a grand. After he said he put in a new cooling system, car still kept running hot. Found out from another mechanic that though CarFix had replaced water pump, he put the old thermostat back in - upside down and didn't ground the wires to the fan motor, which burned/melted them after time causing fans to stop working. I went to 4 different body shops including Macco and ended up here. When I went to Macco I had to wait 30 minutes for an estimate. I then told the guy from Macco what Carfix was offering. He came outside with me because he wanted to know where they were located and I told him just down the street. He suggested that I take my car over there.
