I was just here Sunday for food poisoning and could barely talk because I was doubled over in…read morecramps. The front desk receptionist was nothing short of rude, and impatient and has a bad attitude. She is unprofessional and her disgraceful demeanor is uncalled for especially dealing with sick patients. The nurse I had and Dr that I had were so extremely nice, explained everything in detail, were thoughtful and were very caring and very and friendly. Thank you for your acts of service. It is greatly appreciated.

In my pre-op workup for a colonoscopy, I was given a quote of $5400. The national average for this…read moreprocedure is around $4800. After the procedure was done, the bill went to $14,500. I was told that because they found 3 polyps, this was the reason the bill went up. If the bill was $1000 or $2000 higher, then I would be okay with it due to the slightly extra work. To almost triple the bill is insane. I asked for the invoice to be reviewed which they did and unsurprisingly they said they bill was correct. I have no complaints about the medical staff or the procedure itself. The billing department is a disaster. Be aware of this especially if you are self pay. (My medical sharing plan contributed $5000 towards the procedure due to the national average cost) Having moved to Spartanburg around three years ago, I had high hopes for the medical care and now I am left with a bitter taste towards the hospital system. I am in the process of moving to a new doctor in the Prisma healthcare system.

We were visiting family inSouth Carolina from Arizona. I had an ingrown toenail that was infected…read more I need it removing. Carolina Foot Care got me in quickly professionally took care of my toe and made the rest of my trip more comfortable. I would highly recommend them.

Firstly I want to say that Dr. Jordan has a wonderful bed side manner..but that's about all I can…read morenicely say..the receptionist seem to be completely lost and without a clue..partly because they are too busy to even know what is going on..my last visit will be my last visit..some of tge receptionist are really nice..and some are down right mean..I called to inquire about my next appointment..only to find that I had missed it..I explained to the receptionist that I always receive a text asking me to confirm and they always call to remind..I checked my phone and no text for that appt reminder..I explained that I am a diabetic with a infected toe..she said the next appt she has available is over a month a way..I explained that Dr.Jordan said that when my toe got bad to just let them know that he said to squeeze me in..she got upset..saying this is just too much..that they see over 50 to 80 people a day..that's not my fault..she still gave me a appointment for 38 days away with a infected toe.. I guess it's good that she did because I kinda wanted to go get a second opinion anyway..like I say Dr. Jordan is very personable and nice..but I have been seeing him every 3-6 weeks for about 12 months..and the same problems I had when I first went ti him is the same problem I am still having..He just takes off some of the calluses, tells me I got a infection in my toe, tells the nurse to call in a antibiotic, tells me to keep it wrapped up and put betadine on it and says see you in four weeks..I always ask if he could cut and trim my toe nails..because of being diabetic I don't want them to bleed..but he hasn't done that till this day..I ask why won't my toe ever heal after all this time and do I have to worry about amputation..he says no not yet..I ask will the calluses ever stop forming..he says he doesn't know.. I wonder if he was doing the right thing will he be seeing 50-80 people everyday..I get the feeling that they just want to get as much money as possible..he only spends about 7 minutes with each patient..now I see why..80 patients for two doctors is ridiculous..but if they focused on trying to heal and help treat the patients problems then you won't be seeing the same patients so much..I am scheduled to see a new podiatrist next week..they were able to give me a emergency appointment..praying they take the time to treat me like a certified podiatrist should..and that they can also trim my nails..lol..
