My problem Is not with the cost is with the lack of transparency, and the fact that they don't complete cleanings but would rather over charge you for special services. We will never go back. Best dental experience i've ever had! I had anxiety going…read moreinto the appointment, but this team created a warming environment. My concerns were heard, and adjustments were made. I went in hoping to get a problematic wisdom tooth removed. When Dr. Ryan and I agreed on removing it same day, I was able to warn him of a previous extraction; in which the dentists had to double the numbing dose, due to my high tolerance for it. He remembered when it came time to numb me up. The dental assistance's were phenomenal as well. One held my hand during the numbing process, while the other assisted Dr. Ryan also gave me information about my jaw, and how it's adjusted. The main problem going in was the wisdom tooth. He did exercises with my jaw which showed that the alignment of my teeth aren't centered when i bite down. He said this could be due to the wisdom tooth, or another underlying problem with my disk. But he never made me feel pressured by information. He was right to the point, adding details as I asked, without making it seem like i needed more than the necessary work done. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive, but I decided to give them a chance. I am very glad that I did. My visit was wonderful, and I do not like going to the dentist. The technician, Asiah, who did my xrays and cleaning was very patient and caring. Dr. Shelly was also very understanding and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

No pain until my mouth was raw from the shots. Fast forward...now there's infection and she wants to do a root canal without antibiotics. She orders Amoxicillin which i do not respond well too. Called the office and she's too busy to respond and will not change my script. I take meds for the 7 days(I usually get 10 days on Augmentin) It's not cleared up and she refuses to do anything by a root canal, no further script and still not speaking directly to me. My cheek is swollen and red, my neck is swollen and red.....off to the emergency room for treatment for the antibiotics i painfully needed. Needles to say...I won't be returning

To make a long story short the doctor would not perform the procedure without the dental dam. Admittedly I am very claustrophobic and to have a piece of latex stretched across my month and face is just not tolerated well by me. The doctor was less than empathetic with my uneasiness and elevated anxiety. I left the office feeling defeated and ashamed.  Many months ago after relocating to Greenville from Hawaii I made a facebook friend in Dr. Hapney. She reached out to me following a FB post about my failed attempt to have the root canal. She graciously and kindly reached out to me several times over the weekend providing encouragement and treatment options. She spoke with Dr Vance and the two of them came up with a treatment plan that I could tolerate. One week to the day of the horrible dental experience, Dr. Vance successfully performed my procedure without medication, I think I actually fell asleep during a portion of the procedure.  I have found my new dental "Home." MALPRACTICE/ NIGHTMARE/ ruined my teeth/ Left Invisalign button for years…read more.. I really didn't want to have to write this review, but the truth needs to come out. This place does not care about you and they only want your money. I had went here in college for Invisalign and every single time I visited. I had a different so-called specialist assisting with my new trays. Some of them were even the ones who put on the buttons on and towards what was suppose to be the end of my treatment one of the assistance at the time said that she refused to order my Invisalign until I got a bunch of other work done which at the time I absolutely could not afford. I told her as the patient needed new trays and she said she refused to put in order for new trays on my unhealthy teeth. After being traumatized and humiliated I finally worked up the nerve to try out a new dentistry, and I was shocked to find out that I had cement left in my teeth and a bunch of buttons that needed to be removed that I was told could not be removed (two were on my front teeth that left me feeling insecure about my smile for such a long time...) I never finished my treatment plan so a few years later, I decided to try and revisit in hopes that things have changed. I got an awesome cleaning and then Dr. Hapney sat down with me and talked about the Invisalign process, and I wanted to know how much it would be to reinstate the treatment because honestly if I had to pay from the very beginning everything all over again I would 100% go elsewhere, but if there was anyway that she could save my case which she said that she probably could and that she would try... That cleaning cost me almost $250 and because of my insurance it had to go in for reimbursement. I told them that day to specifically send the check to my house and gave them my address. They said they would take care of it and months went by and of course I didn't receive a check so when I called to ask them what was the holdup they said that they had the check in their office and that they went ahead and applied the balance tour to my account, which is the complete opposite of what I wanted. They did offered to send me the check but it has been over a month and a half and guess what I have not seen the check in the mail wish I could say I'm disappointed but honestly, this is the expectation coming from this place... At this point I'm tempted to file a lawsuit. DO NOT GO!
