Was advised by my dentist that before he could put a crown on a molar, a root canal was required. His office gave me 2 recommendations, but after conferring with a friend who is a periodontist, she said that Dr. Noel was one of the best/if not the best in town. Made appt with Allison, discussed the whole process, got price quotes & even discussed what our dental ins. would pay towards treatment since it was out of network. Appt was in 3 weeks, but since a dental infection always lurking, got put on cancel list. I grew up in military family, and always feared dental procedures and heard root canals was the worst of the worst. (I made sure Allison and her office all knew it too) They where fantastic, from the time I was in the door (dragged in), Heather got me in the chair did prelim pics, then Dr. Noel and Susan took over...the bander, professional expertise, and willingness to explain the entire process from start to finish, plus running play by play during the procedure put me at ease and I am sure lowered my blood pressure and stress level. Truly no pain, I've had cleaning hurt more..All covid protections in place, and I was out the door one hour plus later. No pain in the jaw or teeth, just some slight stiffness in neck..He said a three root canal molar is one of the hardest to perform, based on that you really can't do better than Dr. Noel and his fantastic staff....So if a root canal is the root of your problem...choose wisely and put Dr. Noel at the top of your list...Now, on to the crown. read more
