I will never go to ANY Care Now again. First, they told me they accepted my insurance over the phone, but then when I showed up they said I still needed to pay full price and that they would work out the co-pay once regular business hours resumed and then mail me a check! I should have known then that I was being scammed. It turns out that they DO NOT accept my insurance, so they proceeded to charge me full price of $143 instead of what is usually a $20 copay! It was my 5 year old child, so I had little choice but to simply hope and trust them. BIG MISTAKE. On top of getting RIPPED OFF by these low-lifes, they are EXTREMELY SLOW. How slow? Well, after checking in online they are supposed to call you and tell you when to come on in so that you do not get stuck in the waiting room for a long time. So after I checked in online they called about 30 minutes later. After we arrived we STILL had to wait for an hour in the waiting room. After they took us to the patient room it was another 30 minutes until the doctor came into the room, and then another 30 minutes just to get checked out. HORRIBLE. But the worst part is that I had to pay full price for this kind of pathetic service. NEVER AGAIN CARE NOW. Now I realize why they asked for full payment upfront; because they know they are in the business to scam people. DO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC; GO FIND A BETTER ONE THAT CARES ABOUT YOUR BUDGET AND YOUR TIME. read more

I love the doctors and staff at this particular location. They are always courteous and helpful. This location tends to have a longer wait time (even with web check in) but it well worth the wait. I use this facility as my primary care doctor because of the convenient hours. They have definitely earned my loyalty. read more

I took my husband to CareNow b/c we live out of town and he became ill while visiting the Flower Mound area. I logged in online and within 10 min I received a call from the receptionist telling me it would be about 30 min. Before the 30 min was up, I received another call telling me to come in. We were promptly checked in and within 10 min we were Escorted into a rm. the dr was very nice, listened to our concerns, and explained everything in great detail. The whole experience was very pleasant ( as much as going to a dr when ill can be pleasant). The clinic was very convenient to find and was very clean. I came to this place bc it was the only one in the area to get an audiogram. I was sent here by my employer for a routine drug test and physical as I just got a new job. Been here waiting in the waiting room for over 4 hours and people who came after me are being called. When i asked the front desk why, they said there was only one nurse there who could perform the audiogram. Then came to me 20 minutes later and said you know what, I'll do it. Poor time management by technicians and nurses. No communication between receptionist and medical staff. I waited twice the length of time I was given as an estimate when I walked in. I was only the 3rd patient in the waiting room when I entered. As more people walked in, they were called in front of me, and the waiting room was emptied. Sounds good, but then as pink eye goes it went into her other eye, I called them to get a refill on her prescription and they said that I would have to come back and go through the entire process again, even though they knew this was wrong! This is the best location I have been to. I have visited about 4 different Care Now locations, over the years. I was seen quickly. I did web check-in and was only waiting about 10 minutes from the time I walked in. At some other locations, I have had to wait over an hour even with web check-in. The whole staff was extremely friendly and caring and answered all my questions. The only thing that I could see wrong was some small "housekeeping" issues but it was, by no means, unsanitary looking.....just need a little more attention to details when cleaning. read more

The doctor was fine but the employee behind the counter was horrible. Absolutely no public relation skills at all. Took care of 40 tasks before taking care of me while my son sat in the waiting room with a horrible ear infection crying. This includes chatting with her colleagues. Then she quoted the wrong co pay visit and acted like she didn't. Reached the cvs to fill the script and they said it was going to take 2-3 hours because the Clinic forgot to fully fill out the prescription. How do you not fully fill out a prescription? Thank you for letting my son sit half the day with a burning ear infection. Please understand you are working with human beings! And hire a team that has some type of social skills. My son fell so we came here to get it checked out. We were waiting like 30 min in the waiting room, once they took us into the room we waiting over an hour for the doctor to come. We were there for 3 hours until we found out his arm was broken! Once they told us it was broken they said that we just needed To go the ER. They put a splint on his arm (which the ER stated they did a horrible job on and didn't even do it right) and when we asked if they could prescribe him medicine or if we could give him medicine the doctor stated no. We told the nurse at the ER that and she was surprised and said he needed medicine ASAP! Waste of time and money! read more

I became ill on a Saturday morning while on an out of town trip. I was miserable and thought the entire weekend was probably ruined. But I was able to get in quickly. The nurse was fantastic (had to get two shots and she was great) and I couldn't say enough good things about the doctor. He diagnosed and explained my illness, maintained an upbeat demeanor (yes, he was funny), assuaged my concerns, and fixed me up completely. Waited two hours at home and they never called me back to tell me when to come so I had to call them and finally they tell me to come to the office and have been waiting over one hour in the office. We visited this clinic for my son while on vacation. When we arrived we were told the wait would be an hour. Three hours later we were still there. The doctor insisted on unnecessary lab work to increase our bill, and was over all very rude. Since we aren't from the area we just went to the nearest urgent care. I would advise anyone in the same situation to avoid this place. read more

Recently went to the doctor for a back injury, on the following day the medication wasn't working so I called at 12pm to ask them if there was anything they could do to help. 7 hours later, 7pm i still have not heard back from carenow so I call them again, to make sure I was going to receive help, the nurse put me on hold for a couple minutes only to come back and tell me the doctor recommends I go to the emergency room. This has to be the laziest customer service I have every experienced. Complete lack of care, they just want your money and do not care about the well being of the patient. Carenow - Grapevine Mills location This was our (my daughter had liquid in both ears and could hear well) first visit to this "urgent care" I've been disappointed in these type places more times than I've been impressed. I must say that at this time of year where there are TONS of flu cases, the web check in option was fantastic. We started off at Concentra - where they immediately told us our wait would be 4+ hours and the waiting room was packed! I went online while my daughter completed the paperwork and found the web check in at Carenow. Although I completed ALL the information requested (to the level of billing address for my insurance company), they never told me my wait time. So, before I turned in the competed paperwork to Concentra, I stepped outside to call the Carenow location to see what wait time was. They answered and told me it was also about 4 hours, but would call us when they were ready for her. We had a bunch of errands to run, so instead of sitting in a waiting room full of sick people at Concentra (who also treats themselves as an ER, and my co-pay would have been $125.), we just kept our paperwork and told the front desk we weren't using them today. Now, as it was the day after Christmas, and construction by Grapevine Mills is awful, traffic was horrible. Although they give you 30 min to get there, we sat on the off ramp for more than 20 min and missed our window by 10 min, we still only had to wait 10 min when we got there. Now, we did call and tell them the situation. Although we saw a nurse right away, we waited a good while for the doc. There were 2 there and this flu season is awful. At least we were waiting in a room, by ourselves, not in a waiting roomful of sick people. They were also playing Freaky Friday and we were entertained. The doctor took his time and was very nice and also thorough. It was obvious he had read the nurses notes before he came in. Our regular doc doesn't always do that. She ended up getting a steroid injection and they made us stay there for a bit to ensure she was ok with the shot (stats show many teens pass out or get lightheaded with this injection. Although she seemed fine, and it had been 5-7 min since she said she was ok and we were checking out, she said to me, "I feel dizzy", grabbed my arm and proceeded to slide to the floor! Pulling me down with her 120 lbs. Before she got to the floor, there were 3 nurses and the dr she saw right there by check out laying her down. They got a pillow and an ice pack (still in the floor by the check out door) and eventually put her in the closest exam room to lie down. Lisa, the best nurse ever, came back in every 5 min to check on her and wouldn't let us even have her sit up until it was the right time. We ended up being in that exam room over an hour as she made the slow progression from lying to sitting to standing to walking - all with 5 minute check ins from Lisa, our nurse. She even walked her out to the car, as I was parked way around back and wanted to get the car close to the door, to minimize walking distance. That place was awesome!! Oh, and my "percentage of total" payment was $28.60. read more

Amazing - all of the staff are nice - from the doctor and nurse, to the front desk. It is also nice to be able to schedule an appointment online and have them call you when they are ready. They resolved some ongoing ear problems for me, and I felt like it was even better resolution than when I went to an ENT. Can't say enough good things about them. read more

this is the WORST carenow I have ever been to. The lady at the front desk was very rude, she started laughing when I told her what was wrong. Then Dr. Gocke was even ruder, I went in because I hurt my foot on the 21st of this month. she comes in and starts by saying it was probably the shoes I had on today because they didn't have enough support. For one I didn't hurt my foot today I hurt it on the 21st and I was wearing different shoes. Then she tells me that my foot is swollen because I eat too much salt, and tells me I need to watch my salt intake, then goes on to tell my mom that she also should watch her salt intake. really? I was there to see what was wrong with my foot NOT to be told I was fat. Very unprofessional I will NEVER go back to this location ever again!! read more

The Care Now in Grapevine has to be the worse urgent care center around. I was asked by my new employer to go get a simple drug screen and sat for over an hour while everyone who came in after me was called back. As a medical health care provider it is upsetting to see the lack of concern the employees had and the filthy conditions of the office. Bugs were actually crawling around on the floor. read more

Dr.Gocke was amazing!!!! I came in on late hours with a bad cut in my finger. I was scared and came from driving with one arm due to the constant bleeding. I came to this CareNow not knowing this location, usually going to the one on I-20. The front desk was well aware of the situation and kept me calm with their enthusiasm both verbal and non verbal. The nurse who helped me was nice and really showed that she cared asking if I was ok or if anything was needed. I knew that it was already time for them to go, but it was hard to tell that they were tired because of how much charisma they had taking care of me. The best for last was my doctor who didn't waste or take no time caring for me. She helped with my cut ( which was basically a flesh wound) and was really great at getting my sense of humor. I apologized to her about how late I had came and how much longer I had taken her time, but she happily said no worries and joked that she never even heard of sleep. The closing staff is best for their service and Dr.Gocke is the doctor to go to if you ever have cuts from washing dishes! read more
