Nothing better than scheduling an appointment online and being told to come check in only to arrive and be told that the staff is at lunch and it's an extra 30 minute wait. I scheduled an appointment at a different nearby location and mistakenly showed up at this one. They were very gracious in getting me on their schedule and seen by a doctor within minutes. I went there because I had horrible pain in my right ring finger. After explaining the situation, the doctor quickly diagnosed me with a wasp sting and prescribed steroids and some OTC meds. I was on the mend very quickly. I would visit this location again if needed as the service was quick and everyone was friendly. read more

If you are in Dallas, this is the place to go for an urgent care visit. I was in Dallas for a layover and needed to be seen pretty quickly before my next flight. The staff are so kind and the care is great. I was seen very quickly (30 minute wait). I came on a Sunday in the middle of the day. The nurses are lovely, and got me exactly what I needed. First of all, I was the only one in the waiting room, yet it took over 2 hours to be seen by Dr. Shivashankar. I explained that I have laryngitis and my ear hurt. I let her know What worked for me in the past is an antibiotic shot and a steroid shot ( im also a nurse). She told me I had an ear infection and the Laryngitis was obvious. She refused to give me the antibiotic shot and offered me it in a pill form. She said she wasn't allowed too??? It's not like I was asking for a narcotic. It's been 4 days and I am still not feeling any better! Of course she wanted me to come back in a couple of days to charge me again. Her tech gave me the worse shot I ever had in my butt and not in my hip. It hurt so bad that I had to stay and ice it before I could leave. I was very pleased with this location. The lady working the front desk was kind, understanding, and very pleasant. The nurse practitioner was also lovely and provided swift care for my child. She was good with her and also very kind--explaining what she was doing the whole time. The wait was much shorter than other locations in the general area. Be careful when you do the Covid test there as they charge you the "copay" which is illegal. According to "The Families First Coronavirus Response Act" which ensures that COVID-19 testing is free to anyone in the U.S. including the uninsured. My daughter has the insurance which covers 100% of the Covid-19 test, but was charged the "copay".... After I called, the front desk told me that the copay will be refunded after the insurance is processed. Then my question was they should charge the total COVID-19 test cost, not just the copay if they are not sure if the insurance will 100% cover the cost.... What a scam !! read more

Ok, today out of all the visits I've been here, they said they couldn't verify my insurance benefits (being Sunday) so I had to pay everything up front. It kind of sucked but it really wasn't a deal breaker since I had my handy FSA credit card. They said they will send a reimbursement check from whatever insurance pays them. As always, I web checked in... (Wish their web check in was more convenient though- always have to put insurance info, etc again & again). In few minutes, they called and let me know it'll be about hour-hour & half wait. I think under an hour they called me to let me know they were ready for me. I arrive there in about 15 minutes, sign couple of signatures and I was taken back in about 5 minutes. Good thing about here is, you don't have to fill out bunch of questionnaires/paperwork yourself. The nurse asks you verbally so you just answer them. (I hate when you're not feeling well and they give you form after form to fill out). After blood pressure & heart beat check up, Dr. Tatum (not Channing Tatum haha although Doc was a BIG teddy bear version of him) came in matter of minutes. He was very courteous and made me feel at ease. The whole entire visit took me less than 30 minutes. Partly because I pretty much knew I had strep throat and bypassed the test. Still, handful of times I've been here it was a smooth experience. I saw different docs each time, but all of them were very nice & caring. As I was heading out, I saw the same people seating in the waiting room when I got there, so be SURE to WEB-check-in! It'll make your experience at Carenow so much better! Overall poor experience. I went in for blood labs. I was told I'd have to come pick up the test result in person and they are not able to send them to me. I was told the results will be a available in 5 business days. I never heard back from this location. I called several times and was placed on hold each time for 5+ mins. I was told they were waiting on the lipid profile. Carenow never thought to call the lab company and see the was the cause of the delay considering the other results were in. Finally they called and found out that my lipid panel was never ran and I had to come back for a second blood draw. The following weekend I am the first and only patient there and waited for 45 min before I was able to get my blood drawn. No explanation for the wait time other than "you'll be seen shortly". Until I asked should I come back another time and was told they were waiting a form. Poor preparation considering I spoke to a staffer days before informing them I'd come back in the AM so I didn't have to wait. Ancillary staff is below average, newly opened facility, poorly trained staff. read more

Stop! Do not go here, or any CareNow locations. I went in for a reaction to a wasp sting and needed 2 prescriptions. They only sent one to the pharmacy. I tried all day and night, well as the pharmacy people, to try to get someone to resend the one that was missing. No call back until 9:00 pm! I had to wait till the next day to get an antibiotic. Walked in and walked right out. Whoever is the lady that is working right now 3/7/19 @ 12:32 pm. She is African American. Which I feel comfortable saying as I am African American as well. There was no greeting walking in, I was standing in front of her still she said nothing smh. So I see that there is like a sign up form to fill out I started to fill out to make her job easier then asking all my information. She then told me to move as she called someone else up and said she needed to get them Checked in. She literally moved her finger to the side as she directed me to move over as said She said I need to check him in. She talked to the man. She then said do you have a web appointment I told her no she said well there is two hours wait and prolly longer because we will take all the web check ins first. I waited for my drug test to clear to post this. I called ahead and asked the wait time for a drug test. He told me he couldn't state that, which is fine. I get there early and register, two patients came in after me, and one waiting in the lobby. Before I was called to the back, three went ahead of me. It was just frustrating to not be able to know a time, and yet see others being served. The problem is customer service, the front desk personnel was not friendly in his approach. It's like they know I had no other option. I wish I read the other reviews before agreeing to take my drug test at this location. The lady at the front desk, Brianna I believe...could REALLY use some training in customer service. She wasn't rude to me personally, but seeing how she handled other customers at the desk, and the look on her face, you could tell she was over the day and what was REALLY concerning was the fact that I believe she was training someone. If that is how you want to run your clinics fine, but from what I understand, you tell 3rd party vendors you want friendly faces in terms of your Providers, the same should apply to front desk. Why is it that they give you a web check in priority if you STILL have to wait to see the doctor? My check in was for 11. Didn't see doctor until 11:45. I don't see the benefit what so ever. I looked online for an appointment on a Tuesday around 5pm. Said there were none available, so I drove to the client to try to walk in. The two people up front said they could not get me in that evening but would first thing in the morning. They would call around 7:20am to let me know the time. NEVER CALLED the whole next day. My wife was sick and called ahead for CareNow (she hates going so it is always last minute). They called back when it was time to head up there and saw her. She was given some decongestants/antihistamines and told to call back for an antibiotic in a few days if she was not better. This was on a Friday. On Tuesday, she was still not better and called them to ask for the antibiotic to be called in to our pharmacy. This was around noon. Later in the afternoon, she called the pharmacy to see if it was ready and they said they had not received it. She called to ask them again and was told they were really busy, but would get it called in. At 5:00, she checked again and it was not called in, so I called and was told that they had been very busy and the doctor had not had a chance to call take care of it. I said that I was coming up that way anyway, could I stop and pick it up. I was told that would not do any good, but they would definitely get the doctor to slow down a minute and call it in. I was over by there at 7 and called to see if they had called it in, AGAIN I was told they were swamped and not able to, but they would handle it right now (after I said I was in their parking lot and could come in to talk to the doctor). At 8:10 I called and they said it was just so busy, and I said this was not acceptable. The man I spoke with said "Well even my primary care physician can take 24 hours to get something called in" and I said "ours would have had it set 6 hours ago". I drove to their clinic and went inside, asked for the doctor and was told he was with a patient. I guess I caused a stir (though I was cordial, no yelling regardless of how I felt), because the nurse was told and she got the Dr. and explained what was going on. He did not come over and apologize or anything, the nurse just came over and said it was being called in right this second! There is no way this doctor had no chance to approve the medicine over an 8 hour period. They even admitted he had stopped for dinner, but had not looked at the call in requests for medications. I am not a big fan of these places as a rule, I think your regular doctor knows your history and responds quicker, but this treatment has assured our family of never going back! read more

The staff at this location is wonderful!!! Latonia Jones at the front desk is full of joy and happiness, you rarely find people these days that understand customer service and she does. She went well out of her way to make me feel as warm and welcomed as possible. I enjoyed talking the intake nurse that took my vitals and Dr. Munoz was awesome.
