I empty them of all liquids, then crush them. If you do this, you can get $1 per pound. I found this out by talking to employees, and Clemente, who is there most of the time, that it takes more energy (electricity) to process them. So it's a good idea to empty and crush the cans, or else you get less money per pound. I found it's worth doing, to get some extra beer money.

This landfill did cost us $43 for the entire truck bed, which was steep, but we were in and out quickly. They do not accept tires and you must wear a safety vest- plan accordingly!
